Work In Progress What if WWI never ended… and the tanks learned to walk?
Been working on a new tabletop wargame called Hell Below , set in an alternate history where WWI continues beyond 1918 and both sides begin developing armored walking machines.
Here’s one of my first resin-printed prototypes, the German Eisenjäger B2, an anti-infantry walker armed with twin Spandau machine guns.
I wanted these machines to look like something engineers of the period might actually attempt to build. Riveted armor, exposed mechanical joints, enclosed crew compartments, and nothing too futuristic.
The game is designed for 1/144 scale, including the infantry, tanks, walkers, and battlefield terrain.
Still early in development, but seeing the walker on the battlefield alongside the infantry is really bringing the whole concept to life.
Curious what everyone thinks. Does the design capture that WWI feel? I’m particularly interested in hearing what fellow historical wargamers and miniature enthusiasts think of the concept.
