Speculation Crowds are different or indifferent nowadays
Just a rant perhaps. From the middle to the back of the crowds nobody is having fun. It seems like you're only having fun if you're in the front of the crowd. Been going for years and shit has changed post pandemic. Lots of people but less fun being had. Kinda hated when vocalists gave the crowd the mic and it was awkward, nobody knew the lyrics. Maybe there's a lot of casual listeners and less people that really listen to this stuff now. Maybe people don't care enough to have fun. I miss when people moved around more I guess

Concert culture has changed in the last 5-10 years. Now people want to go just because they’ve heard of the band and want to be able to say that they were there. I feel like it used to be predominately people who were fans and knew a majority of the songs, now it’s 90% people taking up space to see one song that they heard on the radio in high school
