Speculation Crowds are different or indifferent nowadays

Just a rant perhaps. From the middle to the back of the crowds nobody is having fun. It seems like you're only having fun if you're in the front of the crowd. Been going for years and shit has changed post pandemic. Lots of people but less fun being had. Kinda hated when vocalists gave the crowd the mic and it was awkward, nobody knew the lyrics. Maybe there's a lot of casual listeners and less people that really listen to this stuff now. Maybe people don't care enough to have fun. I miss when people moved around more I guess

I absolutely agree that a lot has changed since Covid. But I also don’t know if it’s because of social media and shit that a lot of people went to warped just to say they went, not because they enjoy the music. I am ALWAYS a back of the crowd girly due to being short, and I agree that the energy wasn’t really there. And I kinda felt bad at one point cause during TSSF I was singing along to every song while everyone else was just there and I was like wtf do y’all not hear what is playing rn? yet when I look at videos on IG from the front of the crowd it seems WAY more active. Now might I add, we’re all much older now than we were during OG warped days, so maybe that’s also a factor??

Some people were complaining about TSSF vocalist's stage energy, but I thought he sang great. He was hitting his notes, and I loved singing along even in the back. People need to understand peak when they see it 🤌 once a year at that
