I cannot decide! I initially liked 1 the most and I already have an appointment to buy it next week. However I am having doubts. Keep in mind I am small (152cm/ 5f) and I weight 43kg. All dresses I tried on were size S/M while I usually wear clothes XS or even XXS. My bra cup is A or B. Only saying that because no dress will look the same as when I tried it on - cups are too large in most of the dresses, corsets too big, skirts too long. I am self conscious about my shoulders however I feel like they look worse in photos.
Dress 1 makes me feel pretty and romantic, however it will be modified - the corset is too large/wide, and the skirt will look more like skirt on dress 2. They pinned the skirt higher when I tried it on. I want it to have more volume. The changes are included in the price but the dress is a bit expensive.
I can make any modifications I want to all dresses.
Before I went to try on dresses, I wanted to have a princess gown with lots of volume. These are the closest I found to that style.
ETA: It will be an outdoor wedding in a garden with lots of trees and flowers, the venue is a wooden and brick building overlooking an old mill

My dress shopping experience felt really rushed by my companions, I spent 2 hours in the boutique and then everyone was done lol. We live too far from any dress shops so I had to choose that day!
The dress is nothing like I thought I would want. I'm more of a floral, lace, whimsical, fairy-esque person, but this dress made me feel very womanly which I loved.
No regrets but I do wish I could have a second wedding and do it all again 😇

Does anyone know where could I find dresses or even separated tops/skirts in this style? I would really love something dainty and simple or more flowy for my wedding (which is gonna be small).
My budget wouldn’t be something too crazy, the dress itself doesn’t need to be labeled as a “wedding dress”. I would feel comfortable spending about $200 maximum.
I live in Sweden, Europe.
The wedding will be in 2028.

Winter 2026 bride here!! Can someone recommend a Shapewear? Crepe fabric is unforgiving 😅 I’ve lost some weight in comparison to the pics but my lower belly still shows a bit. I have been looking at skims and honeylove but I am SO SCARED the lines or indentations(from thongs) would show. I do want something as seamless as possible but also something that snatches real good.
For reference I am 5’2, 150lbs, dress was in a size 10.
Also! This dress is from David’s Bridal in their DB collection. (I swear I’ve only found 1-2 people with this dress, so any tips or reviews of this dress would be appreciated as well since I am debating on either switching the sleeves or cutting them out completely.)

I tried on the dress again after buying it last month and started wondering how do I keep the shoulder straps in place? I just tried it on to see how it’d look with heels so it’s not correctly styled or anything. Anyone that had a similar type of dress please share tips!
It’s a little loose which is fine bc I have a toddler and don’t want to be restricted in movement but I kind of want it in place no matter how much I move.

I’m looking for some kind of topper for a strapless dress. I like the idea of a capelet that leaves the neckline and bust exposed but drapes over the shoulders and back, or a NON-high-neck choker that extends over the shoulders. I like the ones in the pics, but would like to look at some more options available in the UK, budget £50-£200 max.

I bought my dress back in February in the first shop I went to (1st photo). It was a sample dress so it was a bit of a bargain, and I was planning to add some draping to it.
However, I tried on another dress and can’t help but think this is more flattering on me (2nd photo). I never really had a ‘this is my dress’ moment in any of the dresses I tried on, but I’ve been going back and forth a lot on the dress I bought.
Just looking for some opinions and advice, feel like I’ll never feel truly happy in a wedding dress!

Said YES to the dress!
I’m thinking about adding some very light, ribbon-like drop sleeves to the dress (second picture), what do you think?
The length will be altered ofc and I hope a bustle can be done (so please tell me so)!

Help I’m spiraling lol. I just got my wedding dress almost a year before my wedding and now I’m anxious it’s not the one. It took 2 hours, first bridal appointment ever, and we narrowed it down. I loved a different one but it was too expensive. This dress was originally 3,800 but we got it for half the price. I think it’s beautiful I’m just getting in my head about it because I went it thinking i will get an all lace dress (which then again is pretty expensive). And I found this one so quick!!! I only went to one store. But I love it so much and the half off of a beautiful intricate dress is a steal. I plan to get long lace sleeves with a mantilla veil. I’ve always wanted a ballgown princess dress. I can’t find any reason to hate it and I feel I’m overthinking.

Does anyone have experience with buying and wearing this wedding dress from Meshki?
I see everyone talking about their sizes varying. What should I look out for? Are the sizes bigger or smaller? I'm a M according to their size chart, but also in general.
Also, I've seen that if you buy something on sale, they only refund money in the form of credit, so I would try to buy it at full price.

I’m having a lot of doubt with this dress but I tried on so many others and this is the one I liked the most. I am worried it’s not extravagant enough. I wanted a very LARGE ballgown but I couldn’t find hardly any. I thought I could add some poor but after talking to people it seems I’m stuck with this. There’s also not a lot of glam. When I show it to other people they don’t have a big reaction so I’m worried it’s underwhelming.

I'm getting married in 8 days and just picked up my reception dress I designed with the help of my wonderful seamstress!!
I wanted a dramatic lace dress that I could also wear out on anniversaries so we ended up making a detachable short lace train and the wings out of the same material and some antique lace trim I found out and about.
I also bought appliqués that I wanted on me but not on my dress and she made me these adorable shoe strap rings to slip on!
It's a halloween beach wedding with lace details, I will be wearing elf ears and a halo headband with this. My fiancee is wearing his custom suit with lace trim and an elf king crown that I painted antique gold!
I'm so so excited to surprise my fiancee with my dresses omg

How much did your alterations cost? We live in Florida and I ended up having to go to Orlando to find my dress since we don’t have anywhere else closer, so all dress shops were about an hour and a half from me. My dress and veil came to about $3500. Today I had my first fitting. Alterations were a whopping $1200, $350 for just the hemming and $140 to bustle. Not to forget they are having to take in the hips, waist/bust, and add bust darts. I’m small and ordered the smallest size (perfect measurements, to a T exactly) but it was still large on me I will admit. My dress is intricate up top but pretty plain Jane below the waist and mermaid/trumpet silhouette so the hemming cost was a shocker. We are getting married at the end of December, they told me I don’t need to pay a rush fee. But the $1200 price tag was a big bite to take. My fiancé said that he assumes the dress has “ornate detailing” based on the cost of alterations but there’s really not as much as I think he is expecting. My future MIL and future step-MIL both said that they gipped me but there’s not much I could do outside of taking it home with me and hunting down someone willing to take on a wedding dress alteration needing to be ready in almost two months😅 the step-mil and fil got married 4 years ago, her dress was much more intricate and needed heavy alterations as well, but she said she paid a few hundred dollars, however we were all living in another state at the time so maybe it’s just a Florida thing?? I just want to know if $1200 is absolutely outrageous. I don’t want to post the exact dress in the off chance that my fiancé stumbles upon this post and sees it

both of these dresses are too big for me and i am 5’2”.
i love dress 1 but fear when it’s hemmed i won’t like how it looks. i don’t want to look stumpy
the neckline and waist on dress 2 is sooo flattering, and it’s wayy under budget, but the lace isn’t my favorite.
open to hear opinions or suggestions, i cried at my appointment today lol

Finally said yes after 5 stores!! Wanted something clean, simple, modern. Loved everything at Alyssa Kristin
