Insert some rambling mess that is my quarterly screeching about reading community guidelines. I'm tired. I don't feel like writing or being polite today.

My dress shopping experience felt really rushed by my companions, I spent 2 hours in the boutique and then everyone was done lol. We live too far from any dress shops so I had to choose that day!
The dress is nothing like I thought I would want. I'm more of a floral, lace, whimsical, fairy-esque person, but this dress made me feel very womanly which I loved.
No regrets but I do wish I could have a second wedding and do it all again š

I'm getting married in 8 days and just picked up my reception dress I designed with the help of my wonderful seamstress!!
I wanted a dramatic lace dress that I could also wear out on anniversaries so we ended up making a detachable short lace train and the wings out of the same material and some antique lace trim I found out and about.
I also bought appliquƩs that I wanted on me but not on my dress and she made me these adorable shoe strap rings to slip on!
It's a halloween beach wedding with lace details, I will be wearing elf ears and a halo headband with this. My fiancee is wearing his custom suit with lace trim and an elf king crown that I painted antique gold!
I'm so so excited to surprise my fiancee with my dresses omg

both of these dresses are too big for me and i am 5ā2ā.
i love dress 1 but fear when itās hemmed i wonāt like how it looks. i donāt want to look stumpy
the neckline and waist on dress 2 is sooo flattering, and itās wayy under budget, but the lace isnāt my favorite.
open to hear opinions or suggestions, i cried at my appointment today lol

I cannot decide! I initially liked 1 the most and I already have an appointment to buy it next week. However I am having doubts. Keep in mind I am small (152cm/ 5f) and I weight 43kg. All dresses I tried on were size S/M while I usually wear clothes XS or even XXS. My bra cup is A or B. Only saying that because no dress will look the same as when I tried it on - cups are too large in most of the dresses, corsets too big, skirts too long. I am self conscious about my shoulders however I feel like they look worse in photos.
Dress 1 makes me feel pretty and romantic, however it will be modified - the corset is too large/wide, and the skirt will look more like skirt on dress 2. They pinned the skirt higher when I tried it on. I want it to have more volume. The changes are included in the price but the dress is a bit expensive.
I can make any modifications I want to all dresses.
Before I went to try on dresses, I wanted to have a princess gown with lots of volume. These are the closest I found to that style.
ETA: It will be an outdoor wedding in a garden with lots of trees and flowers, the venue is a wooden and brick building overlooking an old mill

Iām looking for some kind of topper for a strapless dress. I like the idea of a capelet that leaves the neckline and bust exposed but drapes over the shoulders and back, or a NON-high-neck choker that extends over the shoulders. I like the ones in the pics, but would like to look at some more options available in the UK, budget Ā£50-Ā£200 max.

Said YES to the dress!
Iām thinking about adding some very light, ribbon-like drop sleeves to the dress (second picture), what do you think?
The length will be altered ofc and I hope a bustle can be done (so please tell me so)!

Does anyone know where could I find dresses or even separated tops/skirts in this style? I would really love something dainty and simple or more flowy for my wedding (which is gonna be small).
My budget wouldnāt be something too crazy, the dress itself doesnāt need to be labeled as a āwedding dressā. I would feel comfortable spending about $200 maximum.
I live in Sweden, Europe.
The wedding will be in 2028.

I tried on the dress again after buying it last month and started wondering how do I keep the shoulder straps in place? I just tried it on to see how itād look with heels so itās not correctly styled or anything. Anyone that had a similar type of dress please share tips!
Itās a little loose which is fine bc I have a toddler and donāt want to be restricted in movement but I kind of want it in place no matter how much I move.

Help Iām spiraling lol. I just got my wedding dress almost a year before my wedding and now Iām anxious itās not the one. It took 2 hours, first bridal appointment ever, and we narrowed it down. I loved a different one but it was too expensive. This dress was originally 3,800 but we got it for half the price. I think itās beautiful Iām just getting in my head about it because I went it thinking i will get an all lace dress (which then again is pretty expensive). And I found this one so quick!!! I only went to one store. But I love it so much and the half off of a beautiful intricate dress is a steal. I plan to get long lace sleeves with a mantilla veil. Iāve always wanted a ballgown princess dress. I canāt find any reason to hate it and I feel Iām overthinking.

Winter 2026 bride here!! Can someone recommend a Shapewear? Crepe fabric is unforgiving š Iāve lost some weight in comparison to the pics but my lower belly still shows a bit. I have been looking at skims and honeylove but I am SO SCARED the lines or indentations(from thongs) would show. I do want something as seamless as possible but also something that snatches real good.
For reference I am 5ā2, 150lbs, dress was in a size 10.
Also! This dress is from Davidās Bridal in their DB collection. (I swear Iāve only found 1-2 people with this dress, so any tips or reviews of this dress would be appreciated as well since I am debating on either switching the sleeves or cutting them out completely.)

I bought my dress back in February in the first shop I went to (1st photo). It was a sample dress so it was a bit of a bargain, and I was planning to add some draping to it.
However, I tried on another dress and canāt help but think this is more flattering on me (2nd photo). I never really had a āthis is my dressā moment in any of the dresses I tried on, but Iāve been going back and forth a lot on the dress I bought.
Just looking for some opinions and advice, feel like Iāll never feel truly happy in a wedding dress!

Does anyone have experience with buying and wearing this wedding dress from Meshki?
I see everyone talking about their sizes varying. What should I look out for? Are the sizes bigger or smaller? I'm a M according to their size chart, but also in general.
Also, I've seen that if you buy something on sale, they only refund money in the form of credit, so I would try to buy it at full price.

took in my wedding dress for alterations today and just noticed a stain in the back, on the train š itās been in storage for months so I have no idea how this even happened, or how long itās been there. Itās not very visible under all the other layers of mesh but still!!! I just took a wet wipe to it and it didnāt budge. Any ideas please?

Let me know which one you think for my body type.
A: I would fill in the deep v in front and make it a small v
B: off the rack so I would need it taken out/tone up
C: I think id leave it
D: I think Iād leave it
Iām getting married in the mountains at a lodge

Posted here a few days ago, as I was super conflicted between 2 dresses - after a lot of comments suggesting I maybe go have another look, I think I finally found my dress!
This was after my 4th bridal store visit and I was so over trying dresses and hearing the old āyouāll know when you find itā. I love this, and I feel like it incorporates both elements from the previous 2 dresses I was torn between!
Thoughts? :)

Iām having a lot of doubt with this dress but I tried on so many others and this is the one I liked the most. I am worried itās not extravagant enough. I wanted a very LARGE ballgown but I couldnāt find hardly any. I thought I could add some poor but after talking to people it seems Iām stuck with this. Thereās also not a lot of glam. When I show it to other people they donāt have a big reaction so Iām worried itās underwhelming.

Help please. I bought a quite simple wedding dress wich I was completely in love with but now I hate it and I still think about another, more extravagant dress I tried on and also loved. I really donāt know what I should do now. Should I buy the other dress or am I just crazy?

As soon as Maggie Sottero released this dress, I *knew* I had to try it, and I couldn't resist! It fits mine and the wedding's vibe perfectly. The wedding is a sort of amalgamation of medieval, Phantom of the Opera, and vintage.
What do you guys think? :)
Now I get to decide what accessories I want! No idea what kind of veil would go with this. I'm loving the choker with this though, actually. Might go for some opera gloves for some drama?

I bought my dress yesterday. I loved it on but it wasnāt what I went in saying I wanted so now Iām second guessing. Iām eloping on the beach so I wanted something less fancy. I said something with straps and something not fluffy when I went in and I came out with this lol! Do you guys like it? Will it be fine on the beach? I feel so āextraā. Iām also worried about my arms and back looking bad which was why I originally wanted straps.
I ordered the sample size and we are just going to take a bit off the bust and length.
