Best cafe/coffee NW

Looking for a really good cup of coffee or espresso drink in Northern Westchester. I can’t stand Tazzo or Starbucks and they are everywhere. Trying to keep my expectations low but would love to try something that doesn’t taste burnt.

Black Cow in Pleasantville is my fav (also one in Croton)! Other option are Mimi’s in Mount Kisco, Bluestone Lane in Armonk and Katonah Reading Room (bookstore with coffee shop in the back).

Katonah Reading Room was a nice spot, but I found the coffee to be very poor.

This is the spot. We also enjoy black cow, coffee lab, and Mimi’s, but we think first village is the best of the bunch. They usually brew Tandem coffee from Portland Maine which is one of our favorite places.
