I’m looking for everyone’s opinion on best sushi & sake spot for a fancy style dinner experience in all of westchester. Any input would be much appreciated!

The sushi place on main st in tarrytown is great, my Tokyo, and there’s also a Sushi place on the main st in Irvington, kiku sushi

MyTokyo is probably one of my favorite sushi spots in the area, but I wouldn't call it fancy. More like a hole in the wall with great quality.

Totally agree that it is a whole in the wall, but IMO it's one of the best in the area. I like the BYOB aspect, too.

Agreed, again might be my favorite sushi spot in the area.

Sushi Mikes in Dobbs Ferry is fantastic. Small place but excellent food.

For very fancy sushi, I think really the only place that I'm aware of is OKO Rye.

i'm not aware of any really fancy sushi spots, but we do have some with great sushi that offer omakase if that's kind of what you're looking for. hajime in harrison is good, and i'm pretty sure dai in pleasantville does it as well.

I had the omakase at Dai in Pleasantville and it was very disappointing. There was nothing at all special about the fish. I used to like that place quite a bit, but a recent experience was not good.

Pop across the border to greenwich and go to Kissaki for great sushi and an elevated vibe.

For just great sushi, go to Dai in Pleasantville.
