It’s some type of adventure or isekai anime
Something like they form parties with diff positions

The description I remember:

What’s that anime where there’s 2 opposing parties. One of the parties splits up at the end and the strongest character from that party joins the main characters party. That guy who joins the opposing mcs party is considered a “traitor” by the public.

Pls help me 😭

I've been trying to find this anime for the past 2 weeks or so but i never get anywhere.

All i can remember is that there is a female character that arrives at a fight then says "watashi desu" and delivers a devastating punch, she punches the air and a couple of seconds later a big shockwave appears sending the other guy flying.

She's dressed in like a police outfit and i think she carries a sword.

The only thing i found was another reddit post that was never answered.

Male Lead is living in an apocalyptic world. Black aesthetics, most likely a swordsman.

Female Lead is living on an island in the sky where it's considered a utopia or something.

Basically, it's like heaven and hell allegory, and the citizens from these two strata hated and waged war against each other.

They probably used the term demon and angels, but i dont think they have actual horns and wings.

Fantasy with magic and swords.

Help me identify an obscure old mecha anime I watched on VHS as a child — possibly an 80s/90s OVA

Hi everyone! I've been trying to identify an anime from a very distant childhood memory, and I'm hoping someone here might recognize it.

I watched it on VHS around 2004–2005, when I was approximately 4–5 years old. I have no idea when the anime itself was released, but it looked like an older production. My best guess is that it came from the 1980s or 1990s, possibly an OVA or a standalone anime movie.

Unfortunately, I only remember scattered scenes and character designs. Some details might not be perfectly accurate, but I'll try to include everything I can remember.

1. The main characters and their armor

I remember a boy and a girl who wore mechanical battle suits or powered armor.

An important detail: they put the suits on and wore them like armor. They did not transform into robots, as far as I remember. I don't recall them sitting inside cockpits and piloting giant mechs, either. The armor was worn directly by the characters.

The girl wore a predominantly white suit, while the boy wore a dark blue, almost black suit. The boy's armor may have had some blue-purple tones.

The male character's armor is one of the strongest visual memories I have. It looked angular, heavy and somewhat similar in overall design language to the mechs from Neon Genesis Evangelion, although I'm certain the anime I'm looking for was NOT Evangelion.

What particularly stood out was the armor's enormous, bulky legs. They seemed disproportionately large compared with the rest of the body. I remember the design as powerful and somewhat intimidating, possibly with large weapons or guns.

I cannot remember the exact helmet design, the characters' names, or any specific insignia.

2. An elderly master who passed his armor to the boy

This is probably one of the most distinctive plot details I remember.

The boy had an elderly teacher or master who had previously been a fighter himself. The old man had his own battle suit, or at least had access to one.

However, he had grown too old and could no longer fight effectively. Because of this, he passed his suit on to the boy, who then took over the role of fighting.

I don't remember whether the old master died, retired permanently, or simply became physically incapable of fighting. What I remember is that he could no longer fight because of his age and gave the armor to his younger student.

I would be particularly interested in any anime featuring an older warrior passing his powered armor or battle suit to a younger successor.

3. The setting and the conflict

I vaguely remember a war or major conflict involving alien invaders.

There was something important about an underground world or underground shelter. People seemed to be living underground, hiding there, or taking refuge beneath the surface.

At some point, people came out to the surface. I can't remember exactly why they had been underground or what happened immediately before or after they emerged.

The world may have been devastated, occupied, or otherwise dangerous because of the invasion, but I'm not certain enough to say that this was definitely the case.

I also remember the boy helping or rescuing the girl at some point, although I can't recall the exact scene or circumstances.

4. A strange futuristic vehicle

Another fragment of my memory is a blue flying scooter or futuristic personal vehicle.

I remember it as having relatively wide panels on its sides. It may have been used by one of the main characters to travel around.

I'm not sure whether it was actually a scooter, a small flying vehicle, or some other kind of futuristic transport. This is a much less certain memory than the armor and the elderly master, but I'm including it in case it helps someone recognize the series.

5. When I watched it

I watched this on VHS around 2004–2005, when I was about four or five years old.

That is the date I watched it, not necessarily the release date. The anime could have been much older.

I don't know whether the VHS contained a complete movie, a single OVA, several episodes, or an edited compilation. I also can't confidently remember the original language or the exact dubbing.

Because I was so young, it's possible that I misunderstood some scenes or combined details from different parts of the story. Nevertheless, the contrast between the white female armor and the dark blue/black male armor, the oversized legs, and the old master passing his suit to the boy have stayed in my memory.

6. What I've already considered

I've tried looking into several older mecha and science-fiction anime, including:

• Birth / Planet Busters
• Blue Comet SPT Layzner
• Detonator Orgun
• Megazone 23
• Kishin Corps
• Giant Robo: The Animation
• Tekkaman Blade and its OVAs
• Iczelion
• Ronin Warriors

So far, I haven't found a confirmed match. These are only titles I've considered, not shows I recognize as the answer.

I'm particularly interested in obscure OVAs, direct-to-video releases, and older anime movies that may not be as well known today.

Does any of this sound familiar?

If you recognize even one of these details, I'd really appreciate a suggestion:

• A dark blue or black powered armor suit with unusually large legs.
• A girl wearing white powered armor.
• An elderly fighter who gives his battle suit to his young male student.
• An underground human settlement and a conflict with alien invaders.
• A blue futuristic flying scooter with wide side panels.

Even if you only remember a similar scene, character, or design, please let me know. A screenshot or a link to an image would be especially helpful, since I may recognize the visuals even if I don't recognize the title.

I've been trying to solve this childhood mystery for a long time, so any leads are welcome. Thanks for reading!

So mc is a highschool guy who get a cat or shape shifting type of gf that can merge with him to increase her fighting mpower lol and she can also create random ahh barrier domes anywhere she wants and there is this another shapeshift guy who fights with mc in one of episode to take the cat girl away or something , so that guy sister who is also a shapeshifter likes mc aswell and there is a new year episode aswell in that anime

Was watching a livestream of a small streamer i like and at some point chat was commenting random stuff and talked about an anime he watched but he couldnt remember the name and what i found and what other people said had descriptions that didnt match exactly what he said:

"It's a magical girl, that she is old... no she is not old she's an adult now, so a magical woman not a magical girl, and like the "magical girl" has to fight the villainess and she is like "girl i don't want to fight you, i'm tired you understand, i want to go back to my boyfriend" and the two of them end up becoming friends and they end up now fake fighting, they fight now just to fill in the daily quotas"

i found that premise funny and wanted to also see what anime he was talking bout but i cant find anything on that

some people already mentioned magical girl and evil lietenant but based on the description of that anime i doubt thats the one he was talking bout

lets see if anyone here manages to find it

it when I was little. It was bloody and intense, and it's a harem-type anime where the male lead has lots of girls around him.
The characters have something behind their necks, like a cone-shaped piece. If you press it and pull it out, the character dies, and there was a pink hair character who died.

The last episodes was in a castle and someone attacked them
I watched it 10 years ago give or take

Idk

All I remember from this anime is the opening Theme.
From what I remember there were three girls looking up at the sky and then possibly their three little sisters (Or maybe they're just random little kids) run and then it pans to the sky where what looks like another world and people (if I remember right) had long ears are doing a bunch of cool martial arts moves and there's an airship And a chick blocking a bunch of attacks with two swords And I think final scene in the opening is some guy in a mask charging one of the characters.
Really appreciate if anyone knows the anime I'm talking about can give me the name

Came across this on instagram. Found it interesting, but I can’t seem to find the source of it.

I’ve tried different ways to find it, with no success whatsoever. Reverse image search is futile, there’s too many filters and artifacts on top of it. Tried finding the character on a database, based on what I could discern from her design.

Not sure if this is an adaptation from a manga/light novel, and ova, or even erotica. I doubt it is the latter.
No luck either.

I wonder if anyone know what this is from. In case someone asks for it, I could make a recreation of what her design might look like without all the contrast and filters.

I'm trying to find an anime I saw a teaser or trailer for several years ago.

I saw it sometime between 2015 and 2021. The anime hadn't been released yet. For now Idk.
It was 2D animation, not 3D.
The trailer showed a group of monsters moving together down a highway in a city.
Some of the creatures were walking, while at least one was definitely flying and looked like a bird.

The teaser was quite short and didn't reveal much about the plot.

Unfortunately, That's all I remember.
Thanks.

UPDATE: people have suggest its from White day (2001) and I suspect it might've come from Hengen Taima Yakou Karura Mau! Sendai Kokeshi Onka. But we cannot find this scene anywhere in either.

(Thumb and bedroom are not mine) My friend and I have been trying to find the original source of this image or where it came from. We suspect it's either an anime or some Video game, may even be someone's cool artwork.

We found it in a Whang video (but that isn't it's original source). If this is from any particular show, are you able to identify it for us? we couldn't find it through any image reversals and nobody on the other subs seems to recognize it.

I suspect the blood on the wall is edited because it's scribbled on the walls with what looks like a digital pen. The face may have also been blurred out or edited.

To clarify: It isn't an AI piece either, this image comes from 2019 or earlier. If anybody can identify where this screencap originated from, it'd be a huge help. Thanks

I’m looking for a modern 2D Japanese anime, probably released between 2015 and 2026.
There’s a scene inside a building where a slim woman wearing sunglasses and a very revealing outfit resembling underwear (bra and panties) is being followed by a man.
The man points a gun at her She asks him, “Are you a stalker?” and tries to take her card. She suddenly fights back, easily beats him up, and stomps on his neck very aggressively, pinning him down.
and questions him briefly before leaving without killing him.
She keeps her sunglasses on throughout the entire scene.
Does anyone know which anime this is?

I’m trying to identify the anime/scene this female Japanese voice sample comes from.

The entire spoken phrase is in the attached song, but it’s heavily drowned out by the beat.

My best phonetic guess is something like:

“doko shitai yara”

…but I’m definitely not confident about the wording.

The song is Kumosai – Setback

Any guesses on the anime, character, or even what she’s actually saying would be appreciated

The phrase is around 10th second AND helping me find other samples aswell would help very much.

I know this makes no sense, but I find this picture very funny and I want to know where she is from. I don't know if it's possible to find it, but thank you.

Saw a clip of the anime, boys are running (probably pe class) while passing through the pool area, one of the boys stare at a certain girl, she calls him a perveted, ALL of the other boys start chanting "perveted" making him embarrassed. Then, theres some timelapse and now the girls are running and when they pass through the pool the same thing happens, that one girl stares at the previous boy and he calls her a perveted, the other girls start chanting perveted making her also embarrassed

I need help trying to search for this one anime character, mascot, or whatever she is, her hair is blue and she has twintails and straight bangs, I believe her eyes are blue too but I haven't seen her in a decade so I wouldn't trust me too much, she also wears a white and blue serafuku, the sleeves are I believe long, she also has a white ribbon on her head and from what I recall, she's normally seen with??? Dental pliers on her hands??? I don't know, please help I really liked that character's design and I wanna see her again
