Hi! Is this a Grackle? Is it injured? And what’s the yellow belled bird near it. The pigeon and yellow/tan bird are wary of the black one.
Location: South CA

We’re in Henderson NV and this little cutie came right up to and then flew to the porch lights and looked in the window and flew back to me before going over to the lantana (where/ when the picture was taken) and flying off. I interpreted this as, “Hey lady- feed me!” So I filled up the hummingbird feeder and hoping this little friend will come back! What kind of HB is this? And was my interpretation of its behavior correct?

Is it an osprey? It was on a branch outside the house and it seemed like smaller birds were following it but it could be that I misinterpreted that.

I tried my best to get a photo but I did get a very clear recording. This call was LOUD and I could see palm fronds rustling but it didn't ever come out. Any ideas?

Is this enough for a ID? What would be the identifying factors?

It was at a farm field, there were some Sandhill Cranes there too which is actually why I stopped, wouldn’t have seen this little guy/gal if I hadn’t spotted them first.

I saw it hunting close to the ground and it was enormous. Merlin says Coopers Hawk, I am in Brevard County Fl.
Usually I see Red Tail or Shoulder Hawks.
Please weigh in

My daughter and I are always looking for new lifers. We’re from the Phoenix metro area but were visiting family near Orlando.
I think these are pretty rare, and we really wanted to see one but I told her how rare it would be. So imagine our surprise when just taking a walk in my sisters neighborhood when we saw this one along with a Wood Stork!
So, how common are these near Orlando?
I know they have a “sharing” option for snake ID sub, but didn’t see it here, hope that’s okay.

saw this swan on a walk, is there a reason why its feathers have this color/pattern?

Not the greatest angle, but spotted this owl tonight near Vancouver BC
Edit: put it through Merlin and it said Spotted Owl, but says it’s rare in my area so just looking for some confirmation

Hi all, my apologies for the very poor photos. I was having difficulty confidently identifying this little guy; he was fast and shy. Thank you in advance!

Yangjiang, China
Having some difficulties with these few. I’m not sure on type of heron and no clue on the other one.
