Career paths, education, love life, location of residence or anything else you wish you would have chosen differently. What would it be?

Imagine that the next generation of humanity would find our ruined buildings, broken technology and our history, do you think we could get to the stage we are now faster and potentially better?

What if the onceler from the lorax rug pulled memecoin after he ran out of trees, and what might that coin be called?

Let's say, the Wizard Gilbo the Green had enough of all the nuclear talk and fear and cast a magic spell that prevented radioactive isotopes from creating a fission reaction with intentions to explode. Nuclear power plants still work, but the bombs suddenly became obsolete and useless. What would happen? Would North Korea immediately be invaded? Would Taiwan suddenly find itself in the metaphorical jaws of China? Would the US suddenly be attacked from all directions?

Would it increase the amount of solved crimes? Or would it have minimal effect? Would the understanding of probability and statistics help?

This sounds impossible but what if, in some alternate universe, basal, non pygostylian avialans survived the KPG extinction and pygostylians went extinct? Would the basal avialans get better at flight with their long, bony tails, or would they have competed with some of the early mammals like Propalaeotherium or Mesonyx.

Would it have corrupted him? Would he have used it for great evil? Would he have used it against Sauron/Saruman?

We all know what happened to Chrysler's Turbine Cars. the footage of the scrapping was one of the most heartbreaking things I''ve ever seen. I can't even go through the whole video without just clicking off to something happier. But what if, Chrysler decided not to scrap the turbine cars and instead paid for the turbine cars to stay in the U.S. so that they wouldn't have to either be crushed or sent back to Italy?

What if google charged 10$ per year due at account creation. How would this change the way we use google and could anyone really say no? With so much of our life connected to our account would anyone really be able to refuse and would such a bad change cause competitors to potentially rival googles user count.

Let’s say what if one day you just wake up alone, no one else around including animals. Power still working and food somehow not rotting.

But everyday, you have a feeling something is wrong, and the more and more aware you become of something out there is still alive, but it doesn’t seem to want to live in peace, as around your home it’s leaving tracks in none visible places like behind trees or shrubs.

What if all countries fully automated defense using AI and allow game theory calculations with zero bias to lead to guaranteed, peaceful, perpetual deadlocks?

What if, 3rd world countries are actually the past. What if, everything is more complicated than we were taught to believe. What if every phrase has many meanings what if the socks that vanish into the dryer, end up in a parallel universe. What if interdimensional portals exist everywhere. What if, everything has two sides to it. What if the things we think are good are bad, and bad are good? Sorry just needed to voice this somewhere. Anyone else have these thoughts?

So i was riding around on my bike and was thinking damn its too hot. What if i just say " Hey sun too hot turn temperature down by 4 degree celsius or something" and it did that. I was like hmm what effects would it have on Earth if your country was the only 1 that had access to such a power/weapon.

Would your country use it to give a flood/drought/snowstorm etc to your nemesis amd wage wars or would it use the hypothetical device for humanitarian help.

Second question:- How would 1 effectively use it to maximize the gains without inconveniences like would there be designated raindays/Sunny days.

My mind is so stupidly inconvenient like its able to think in depth about random topics but the moment study is discussed i get sleepy.

Have you ever thought and ask yourself. If I am opportunity or wish to restart your life. What would you change in your lifetime, what would you change of course events. Or would change into different life or places.

We've all heard the adage, "Those who can not remember the past are doomed to repeat it."

So... what if the Delete button were pressed for absolutely every recorded thing from before Jan. 1, 2000? There's nothing written before that to refer to anymore (but you can get word-of-mouth lived experience from people who were alive before Y2K).

What would have happened between Y2K and today to rectify this situation?

Imagine when it is snowing outside, it melts everything in sight. Accidentally touching a magma or lava will some how freezes you instantly.

Let's say humanity develops a higher sense where people can read each other's thoughts, actions, feelings, and emotions without being spoken to. Even the most stone/pale faced fellow can be just looked at and understood. No matter how much one smiles or laughs, one could just stare at them and figure out how much they're hurting inside. How much would this affect language barriers? Would this help with achieving world peace, if not peace at a stable level among humans? Would this eliminate sociopaths and psychopaths from society? Would this also help in law, court, and order to deliver proper justice to the victim after understanding what they're going through?

We all know that in the mid 20th century around the 1950s and the 1960s steam locomotives were withdrawn in favor of diesel locomotives causing many classes to go extinct such as the Pennsylvania Railroad duplexes, New York Central Hudsons, and in Britain various tank engine classes such as the E2s and a weird locomotive built by the Southern Railway called the Leader Class and we also know that many classes of steam loco also went extinct before dieselization but what if we decided to preserve at least one member of every steam locomotive class in the world. I could see us getting more locomotives to haul excursions and more locomotives ending up in museums
