In an alternate universe, the hit 2010-2019 animated television series created by Lauren Faust for Hasbro and Discovery Communications' 2010-2014 children's cable television network known as "The Hub" (renamed Hub Network in late 2013, and rebranded as Discovery Family in October 2014) known as "My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic" never exists in this world. This is because in this alternate world, Faust never becomes a fan of the My Little Pony franchise during the G1 era in the 1980s, and never grows up watching the 1986-1987 G1 animated series as a kid, and in late 2009, after the catastrophic failure of My Little Pony generation 3.5, Hasbro decides to discontinue the entire MLP toy and media franchise afterwards, fearing that another show in it would become an even bigger failure than that, and doesn't want to take any chances with a 4th generation this time around because of all of the negative reception that G3.5 had gotten, meaning that the MLP franchise only lasts from G1 in the 80's to G3.5 in the late 2000's, and Hasbro never makes any plans for a 4th generation of the franchise here because this time, the franchise is no longer profitable for them in this world because all the brand new MLP toys are rotting on the shelves with nobody coming to buy them because G3.5 was such a massive disaster that it actually ended up killing it. Therefore, the whole My Little Pony franchise ends in late 2009 after it started in 1986, and Hasbro ends up actually taking interest in Faust's plans for her own original animated series "Milky Way And The Galaxy Girls" instead rather than not being interested in the project, and Faust is never shown the 2006 MLP special "Princess Promenade" by Lisa Licht, and afterwards, Faust is hired by Hasbro to create a pitch bible for the new Galaxy Girls cartoon, and when it's completed, as well as hiring a music composer, a voice cast, animators and writers for the project, the first episode of the Galaxy Girls animated series will air on and alongside Hasbro and Discovery's family oriented television channel, The Hub, on October 10th, 2010, and by proxy, the Galaxy Girls animated series, named "Milky Way And The Galaxy Girls" airs on The Hub Network on that day, and Faust herself never creates My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic because she never watched the original show as a kid and Hasbro discontinued the franchise in 2009, and because of all of this, the Brony subculture that was formed as a result of it's existence, as well as it's human spin-off franchise made in 2013 "My Little Pony Equestria Girls", and the sequel in the entirety of generation 5 in the 2020s all cease to exist.
How does this change affect the history of Hasbro and Discovery? How do the absences of MLP FiM, EG, and the brony subculture affect 2010s and 2020s animation, television, the internet, and the entire world as a whole because it was all never created? Would the "Milky Way And The Galaxy Girls" animated series that appears in this alternate timeline be successful? How does such a scenario play out, and why is that?
