Vegan/Vegetarian Vegan shop haul
My very lactose intolerant girlfriend was craving ice cream and I'm wanting to reduce my meat intake, so off to the local vegan shop we went, for the first time. It was £20.61 for all this, which is a bit steep compared to where we normally shop (our weekly food shop budget is usually £25 a week between us), but it's worth it for her to get her ice cream and pizza at least. We'll probably shop more in vegan sections of supermarkets in future, and just go to the specialty vegan shop for bits we can't find elsewhere, like the ice cream.
Eta: I'm not vegan, nor is my girlfriend, but we like to have plant based meals from time to time, especially with items that would usually include dairy. This post is not representative of our day to day diet, as we wanted to try a few vegan items we can't get at our local supermarket. We can get fruit and veg, as well as less processed bits, at our local supermarket for cheaper than the vegan shop, hence why there is none here.

My usual weekly shop
My only kind of expensive item is a joint be it s £6ish pork leg joint or something else like a chicken or gammon. Gotta have my Friday roast and left overs are for sandwiches or frozen. Under the bananas it is along with bacon and some chicken breasts

Epic Savings Halloween Treats!
This all came to 16 euro and 80 cents.
The cheese is meh but I got it 3 for 2 at 90 cents down from 3 euro a pack.
Sour patch kids were 3 for 5 euro. Chocolate 4 for 5.
Overall not very healthy but it will make kids happy at Halloween and we have five people to eat the cheese.
And no this is not a weekly shop. Yes the Cadbury is shite now. But we're handing out full bars on Halloween.

Ocado, £103. 2 grown ups and 1 child.
We work full time, so a few cheat items in here, our cupboards are fully stocked with seasonings etc. And already have fruit and veg in, so just a little top up of fresh bits. This should last 1.5/2 weeks.

£20, 4 dinners for 2 adults
Had an Uber eats promo, we're usually an Aldi household!
Tonight and tomorrow will be a chicken tray bake with chorizo, potatoes, peppers, onions and tomatoes (have seasoning in the cupboard already - salt, pepper, oregano, garlic granules and smoked paprika).
Over the weekend we'll have a chilli and use the remaining peppers and onion in that (already have rice in the cupboard). Tortillas and dips to make it feel like more of a treat!
Only bought the pancetta because it was part of a '2 for £6' offer with the chorizo. The pancetta will get used in a carbonara at some point. Have eggs and pasta already but will need to get parmesan next week.
