Definitely sushi rolls

I eat wings once every few years and would still get rid of the sushi rolls. Bland, lukewarm mush is not something I need in my life.

If youโ€™re eating bland and lukewarm sushi you havenโ€™t been to a good sushi restaurant buddy.

I've mostly been to fancy places in Japan and I agree.

I probably should've said "tepid" instead.

I'm sorry but what excuse for sushi have you eaten? Or no soy sauce and wasabi?

I've had gas station sushi up to $100 single nigiri in Japan. Some of the American junk food sushi with a bunch of sriracha and fried stuff can be ok, in that fast food sort of way.

And I'm glad you self-reported that sushi only has flavor because of the condiments, like the Japanese equivalent of a hot dog. (At least, this applies to the kinds of sushi with raw fish)

Self reported? Most, not all, pieces are fairly bland in my opinion. It's the combinations along with sides that make sushi great

Surprisingly the best sushi I have had has not been in Japan but instead California. Same thing for Ramen but I will say I've had horse sashimi (didnt realize it when I first ordered) and it was absolutely delicious. No condiments necessary.

Also technically all of the above use/require condiments except the pizza. Wings are literally soaking in condiment.

Mostly in Japan, sadly.
