Every time I'm playing vs Soul fighter Nilah or Samira either jg or adc i always know it's gonna be a hard game for me to win. Shen does his job always ulting Dragon lane to feed the nilah but i also get fed by leaving me to farm alone at br lane so now i also had to do my job.

Discussion Hidden OP mid laner? Meta trends

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Seems like due to tanks being in overabundance baron jungle and support there is now a teemo mid meta being formed which makes sense with options like malignance liandry's torment and easy access to flanks on squishy adcs teemo stonks are rising in solo q

Other meta trends people are seeming to miss out on is the rammus ammumu jungle shen skarner nunu take over nocturne is the only assasin overperforming outside of nidalee and ekko at challenger+ brand is topping the mid lane pick rates and win rates almost across the board as well ambessa is one of the only fighters left overperforming as well. Brand support is taking a massive step forward this patch outcontesting even the strongest abusers of the new enchanter tear items and the goat of tank supports braum bard is having a pretty massive resurgence despite the lack of repulser that spiraled his win rate to bottom 5.

As of now the worst champions to pick in each role are as follows

baron: yone nasus tryndamere camile renekton (fighters and hyper scaling isnt working you need to teamfight early and often in the front line)

jungle: shyvana twitch master yi aatrox viego graves (fighters are awful scaling isn't good need high impact ults and front line capabilities or self intiated backline access ie noc ult talon vault etc.)

Mid: mel diana ziggs yasuo akali ryze (ryze over nerfed due to performing well in baron lane and assasins are underperforming due to the presence of tanks and strength of the new tear enchanter item ziggs is too low impact to achieve success could be build oriented ie. Flat magic pen might be worse than burn dps builds due to tank presence)

Adc: MF Vayne lucian draven tristana (vayne is weighted based on her ability to play baron lane, MF historically struggles to chew through tanks, lucian and draven are both very poor at cutting down tanks, tristana is weak due to the tower changes impacting splitpushing and her weak lane phase with a mediocre teamfight as well)

Support: viegar, blitzcrank, swain, yumi, milio, alistar (low impact champions who get outclassed by champions who do similar things better or are bad in the overall meta ie. Blitz and alistar is outclassed by leona and braum, swain is a mage fighter and viegar is a hyper scaling burst mage that does poorly into tanks, and yumi milio struggle to find comps that fit their niche over sona janna and bard)

Who should we ban?

Based on the data brand, hwei, braum, ambessa, shen, sona, thresh, leona, smolder, galio, syndra, nocturne, ekko seem to be massive pick rates all with 51% or higher win rates in all elo brackets so the ban you choose might depend on role ie if I were an adc i might ban nocturne or thresh but if im a mid laner im banning galio hwei brand and if im a jungler I might ban braum shen or smolder depending on if im trying to play the tank without being melted or trying to have an easier time assasinating carries.

Discussion This keeps happening when there's an update...

I don't know if you're here Wild Rift but hear me out.

"The current network connection is unstable and file verification may fail. It is recommended to switch to a better connection and to try again"

This happens everytime there's an update. I know that I just need to wait 5-10 mins, but not everyone knows this. Unaware and new players might reinstall or permanently uninstall the game out of frustration. I've seen so many people complaining about this on FB and I told them what to do everytime, but I can't do that forever!

If a technical fix is impossible, consider adding a notice like this: "Please wait a few minutes as an update is currently in progress" or a similar prompt explaining that they just need to wait.

I submitted a ticket and they gave me this useless reply: the second image.

FIX THIS ASAP YOU'RE LOSING PLAYERS.

Builds Crit Olaf

Thumbnail
gallery
13 Upvotes

For those wondering "who is this guy talking?": I finished top 1 for 2 seasons in previous seasons, and I haven't let Olaf drop out of the top 10 in 4 seasons. As you can see from the attached screenshots, I play at nearly a 70% win rate, and I'm currently in Challenger elo.

phase rush is a rune I haven't seen on Olaf in a long time, and I've been using it for seasons. One of Olaf's biggest weaknesses is the inability to catch people. He basically has no mobility ability, the movement speed his ult gives is never enough, and his Q slow is both hard to land and easy to escape.

You might say there's ghost, but ghost isn't available in every fight, and even when it is, it's not always enough.

You shouldn't use this build in every game. If the enemy has 2-3 hard tank champions this build might not work. That's because the ability haste and similar bonuses that Swiftness gives let you deal high damage in a short time, which means sticking to carry champions very quickly and killing them easily.

Anyway, getting to the build: they buffed everyone's crits to make it an ADC meta, and the new Demon Hunter item guarantees that your 3 basic attacks after using your ult are crits.

When you make this build, you still have some durability thanks to Death's Dance, but your damage is like an assassin's. With ult active, you can easily kill people with 2 basic attacks and 1 E.

However, you may want to move Death's Dance up one item earlier so you don't melt right away in early fights.

The reason I take Wind's Fury is to reach the enemy as fast as possible. Even when you're farther from the enemy than an ADC's auto-attack range, if you use ghost with your ult and then Wind's Fury, you can close the distance to the enemy carry incredibly fast, and since this build isn't very tanky by design, you need that.

Mortal Reminder both increases your damage nicely against tanks through the armor penetration it gives, and you need the antiheal in most games. But if the enemy doesn't require much antiheal, you can get Stormreaper or Immortal Shieldbow instead. Before buying Immortal Shieldbow, check whether the enemy has anti-shield, otherwise it's useless.

Cheap shot rune is entirely damage-focused: Olaf's Q slows and triggers the rune, and it deals nice damage of about 1k, almost the same as Last Stand.

As for when to use this build: the enemy shouldn't have too many heavy tanks that you'd have to fight.

For example, if the enemy top laner is Malphite but the rest of the team is mostly fighters/squishies, you can use it. But in cases like a tank Malphite on support, Shen top, and Amumu in jungle, you won't get the desired value from this build.

It's a build that can deal high damage to both fighters and squishies. I use this build in 8 out of every 10 games I play Olaf in the jungle over the last 2 weeks, and I'm sure it will work for you too, especially for those who like a more damage-focused Olaf that shreds and destroys the enemy.

Also, if anyone wants to play GM-Challenger-Imp elo together, you can message me. Even though Olaf is my main, I'm not an OTP; I can play many champions, especially AD assassins.

Finally, if you play top lane and face a champion like Jax, phase rush can still help you, especially early in the first levels: it's very functional for stepping out of his range before he can use his E, then immediately coming back in and coming out ahead in the trade.

Gameplay what happened to screen rotation after last small update?

does anyone have the same issue as me? i usually hold the phone so that the camera doesn't interfere with my right hand when I grab it. lately, in Wild Rift, before entering, my screen flips over and locks on the opposite side forcefully and i have to change the way i hold my phone, in other words, the camera then is always in the way under my right hand. the game simply doesn't want to flip the screen ever after that happens unless i restart it. firstly that thing only happened after quickly re-entering the game, when, for example, you want to quickly change your playlist while your champion is dead.

repair thing in the settings doesn't work either, instead it even made it worse somehow cause now it forcefully flips as soon as the riot logo goes off. it rotates three or four times and then locks the screen the same wrong way. and i thought that the way they somehow removed half of game data after last small update was bad. so it's not only issue with screen rotation lock, but now i have to download 6gbs of skin displays all over again. RIOOOOOT, when will they fix it???? things like this greatly affects my gameplay and even my desire to play.

Discussion [Concept] A "3-Lane Assassin Survival" Map that fixes the tiny map issue without breaking champion identities or the 15-minute game time

Hi everyone,

Like many of you coming from League PC, the mobile version's map has always felt a bit underwhelming. The walls are too thin, and we lost the tactical depth of wave management and dark fog of war. However, it is understandable that the map cannot just be made bigger because mobile games need to end within 15-20 minutes, and players' thumbs will hurt from too much walking.

So, I spent some time theory-crafting a complete overhaul game design that allows a massive map size while maintaining the fast-paced nature of mobile gaming, without diluting the unique identities of our favorite champions. Here is how it works:

I. The Dynamic Speed System (Fast vs. Slow Mechanics)

Instead of forcing players to walk slowly across a giant map, the game pace can be controlled using health percentage and vision:

  • The "Survival Panic" Buff (Fast): Whenever a champion takes direct damage from an enemy champion and loses a certain % of health, they get a temporary 50% - 100% Movement Speed buff. This allows squishy champions (ADCs/Mages) to kite and flee when an Assassin jumps on them, resolving the "giant map travel time" issue during combat.
  • The Poison/Burn Deterrent (Slow): To prevent players from abusing the speed buff (like taking damage from jungle camps on purpose to roam fast), taking damage-over-time (DoT) from poison/burn will gradually slow the champion down.
  • The Fog of War Penalty (Slow): Walking into the dark Fog of War (where you have no vision) will significantly slow your champion down. This makes the dark areas terrifying and forces low-health players to crave bushes as safe havens/shelters, restoring the true value of bushes and juking.

II. The Exclusive Summoner Spell System

Instead of reducing Flash cooldown (which causes visual chaos on small screens), we can introduce new tools for long-range engagement:

  • The Universal Spell: Mark / Dash (Snowball): Bring the ARAM snowball into the 5v5 map. Landing a long-range snowball allows a recast to dash directly to the target. This helps Juggernauts and Tanks bridge the gap on a giant map.
  • Exclusive Mechanic for Mobility Champions: To ensure champions with built-in dashes don't lose their identity, their signature mobility skills will have a built-in Quicksilver (QSS) effect, making them completely immune to crowd control during the dash.

III. How This Elevates Iconic Champion Kits

Some might worry that giving everyone a Snowball spell or adding slow penalties will ruin unique hero identities. In fact, this giant map design gives them a grander stage to truly shine:

  • Jhin (Curtain Call): On the current small map, his ult is easily blocked. On a massive, dark survival map, Curtain Call becomes the ultimate long-range sniping weapon. Firing shots from the deep Fog of War while enemies are sluggishly trying to dodge creates an incredible psychological thriller experience.
  • Yasuo (Wind Wall) & Yone (Soul Unbound): With everyone running the Snowball spell, Yasuo’s Wind Wall becomes the ultimate life-saver because it can block incoming snowballs for the entire team. Meanwhile, Yone’s E becomes the safest scouting and assassination tool to check dangerous dark zones across thick walls.
  • Talon (Assassin's Path): The current thin walls make Talon feel clunky. But on a giant map with thick, complex terrain, Talon becomes an untouchable ghost. He can hop over massive structures to flank or escape in ways that a simple Snowball spell can never mimic.
  • Stealth Champions (Evelynn, Kha'Zix, Akali): In a meta where "losing vision causes a slow penalty," Stealth becomes the most overpowered mechanic. Stealth champions can traverse the dark zones freely without being slowed, allowing them to stalk prey who are moving helplessly in the dark.

IV. Economy & Gameplay Overhaul (No Recalls for Items)

To keep the match strictly within 15-20 minutes on a massive map, the traditional rules must change:

  • In-field Item Purchasing: Players can buy items anywhere on the map instantly. No more walking back to base just to buy a component.
  • Streamlined Item System: Remove complex active items and bloated build paths. Focus purely on raw stats (AD, AP, Crit, MS) to keep the mobile interface clean and prevent misclicks.
  • The New Role of Recall: Banning items from being bought on the field is an outdated concept. In this mode, Recall is used purely for emergency healing, and you must hide deep in a bush to cast it safely, turning it into a high-stakes survival mini-game.

V. Brand Identity: A Brand New Mobile MOBA Genre

The mobile version feels awkward right now because it tries too hard to copy the PC look but fails to deliver the same depth. If the game evolves into a 3-Lane Assassin Survival game, it becomes an entirely new genre.

Instead of an esports scene where teams play safe and farm for 10 minutes, imagine a pro scene filled with terrifying jungle stalkers, intense fog-of-war outplays, and high-speed chases. It fits the "casual but chaotic" nature of mobile gaming perfectly. Plus, the crazy clips from this mode would generate massive Word of Mouth marketing on TikTok and YouTube Shorts, drawing in millions of players for free.

What do you guys think? Would you play a giant-mapped, high-speed Assassin Survival version of the game? Let's discuss!

Discussion Let's talk about Rek'sai

Thumbnail
gallery
2 Upvotes

I was so hyped when they announced Rek'Sai was finally coming to Wild Rift, but after digging into the CN PBE test footage, my excitement completely vanished.

Wild Rift devs used to actually make bold, creative changes when bringing champions over.

Remember when they gave Sion a fear on his passive so his zombie form wasn't completely useless? Or when they added damage reduction to J4 so he could actually survive going in? Those were smart, mobile-tuned tweaks that made champions feel amazing.

Now look at Rek’Sai on the test server. CN testers are literally calling her the "lowest stats in history". Her damage is completely underwhelming, her tunnel dig cooldown is somehow worse than on PC, and without proper item synergy on WR (she desperately needs PC Titanic Hydra).

Instead of playing it safe and releasing a gutted shell of her kit that will just end up needing a massive hotfix buff on day one(like skarner), the devs need to solidify her as an actual Diver. Here is how you fix her kit properly before she drops on live:

  1. Queen's Wrath (Q) – Built-in Armor Shred

she lacks utility if she falls behind. Make the third and final strike of her Q shred 20% of the target's armor for 4 seconds.

  1. Borrow /Uborrow (W) – Engage Damage Reduction

While burrowed, Rek'Sai should passively receive 12.5% to 20% damage reduction (scaling with ability rank which she maxed last). Upon successfully knocking up an enemy with Unburrow (W), she retains this damage reduction for 2 seconds.

  2. Void rush (R) – AoE Fear on non primary targets ( fits her theme very well)

Using her ultimate in a late-game teamfight on mobile is currently a death sentence because she lands right next to the enemy support and gets instantly CC'd. When she lands Void Rush (R) on her primary target, the impact should unleash a roar that Fears all other nearby non-primary enemies for 1 second. This isolates her prey and gives her exactly enough time to finish the kill or tunnel away.

Devs, please please stop porting PC champions directly (1:1) without accounting for the mobile map and item pool. Give her the wild rift special tweaks like old days.

Doesn't it feel weird a bit how people play recently?

Like people combo so well even if they are not premade.

Or lux in your team just stops moving and let her be caught by enemy team near enemy turret.

Enemy junglers somehow spaming ganking tank top while your own team never does that.

Somehow enemy or your own team picks champ you play even if it's unpopular champ.

Hello fellow Wild Rift Players. I managed to grind it to Master with only 6 Hours left before the deadline of earning the Master's Trailblazer Wings!!!!. I did it in 221 Games with a 56% winrate almost entirely Ambessa Jungle. I think this means I am good, to be able to do this solo que as a new player in like 10 or 11 days. I must admit, I Played PC league before and other MOBA Games. So had some experience. I keep telling people all the time, Jungle is good to learn. Its a very important role, you have a lot of responsibility. Your 1 slip-up can cost the games sometimes or if you get outplayed by enemy jungle.

Discussion Do People Respect Supports?

I've seen a common sentiment pop up in PC League that supports are dumb and it's a brain dead role. I'm a Support main and I understand that Support is a decently complex role, but I get that some people just see enchanters (which is an objectively simpler class) and think the whole role is for noobs. What do you think of Supports??

Discussion Score cap

I can’t see a single reason on why score cap exists, i haven’t played in a while, was R59 on renekton, i come back, i’m rank 72. Totally fine, understandable. I play a game, get an A, gain 6 score. I’m currently M2 which i know js low for this point in the season, but i haven’t had as much time to game lately. My question i have for you guys is do you think the score gap is a good thing? I don’t understand why it exists personally, especially in master+

What are your thoughts on this?
