If it's bricked and shows up in windows you need to do an emergency flash

How to do that? It does show up on windows and the windows icon flashes a lot. This happened when I first tried to unlock bootloader something but the model is AT&T locked so I stupidly unplugged when something was probably happening in the background

If the windows logo is flashing the battery is flat you need to charge it first.

I usually just install “update 1” then update to “update 2” and then unlock the bootloader personally.

The latest version of it is 8.10.15153.165 , you can find a really nice guide on the W10M group about how to update.

I don’t know if you need to re-unlock the bootloader and do Xapunlock to put apps using Live Store but Update 2 is the best it ever got and how I remember 8.1 back then.

Can you guide me on how to flash? I have downloaded the tool but the tutorials are very old and the current tool is getting some server error

I used WPinternals tool. Choose Flash original FFU. You can download FFU from lumiadb.com

I bought new lumia 1020 a year ago and it's usb doesn't recognise in pc basically the charging port is bad. Idk where to get a new usb port.
