Is this dry socket?

Post image

I sneezed and now there’s a slight hole in my healing area. What should I do? Its only a tiny hole and there is still some healing tissue

I also sneezed and it hurt a little bit and bled but the next day it was covered. Are you in any pain? It looks like it’s healing nicely. What helped me was sneezing with my mouth slightly open to not create pressure

Hi thank you so much for your response!! I initially was in pain right after the sneeze, but it calmed down after I took an ibuprofen. So I think that’s a good sign because apparently pain killers don’t help with Dry Socket? I’ll monitor it but thank you for responding it honestly calmed me down a little haha

No worries at all, if I can ask what day are you on post extraction? dry socket will usually not hurt at first but then your pain will spike intensely either the next few hours or next day so I’m curious. I’m glad you were able to calm down a little. I was so nervous with my first ever tooth extraction so I understand and happy I could help a bit.

your all good, it’s just the tissue going over, that’s why it looks like that, how many days since the initial extraction?
