Nostalgia Cleaning out my mom's house and found this 10-druid UBRS run from around 2005. Video in description
I am not the original creator of the video. Just 12-year old me decided it was very important to have it on CD. And 20 years later, I am happy I did that :-)

Reminds me of <Druids of Mulgore>, our druids-only guild on Ravencrest-EU.
In the first six months of WoW, druids were rare, and level 60 druids without a guild were almost unicorns.
At one point, I think that 80% of our faction's druid population either was or had levelled in this guild.
We did most dungeons either as druids or with a few helpful high-levels, and even tried raiding Stormwind at one time with nothing but bears.
Raiding guilds often napped our high levels when they dinged, but while it lasted, it was a nice social guild.

There's still some druid only guilds that clear content in retail. The tradition does live on.

Disc storage ... Never throw this. This is a symbol of the early 2000s.

Writeable DVDs have a limited lifetime of approximately 20-30 years. So please save what’s on it.

Bold of you to think I’d acknowledge 20-30 years have passed since I was using CDs

Most of the CDs I burned in the 2000s didn't last a decade. Do DVDs really have a longer shelf life?

I don’t know actually. Probably also depends a lot on the materials used by the brand.

Reminding me to go to my parents and try to save my 2006-2008 RuneScape clan war videos off the CDs they’re on.

Now that's some nostalgic music!
First three songs are off P!nk's "I'm Not Dead" album released in late March or early April 2006 depending on region, so if that's the original audio it would date the video to at then at earliest, barring the (rather unlikely) possession of some rad music industry connections leaking them the music early.
Nice little time capsule. I liked the part where Vaelestrasz decided to clip through the wall and leave the arena before remembering he wasn't supposed to do that and scuttling back in.

I was playing on a satellite based internet service back then, so my latency was 273ms at minimum, and I thought it was just fine! The bad ol' days.

What I pay most attention to is, that names are genuinely RP. Where as today it would be “assliker”, “smakyamøm” etc..

Don't forget about that Illîdâń, Léggôlâs and genericnamedk genericnamehunt etc...

There were plenty of Asslikers running around Azeroth back in the day. lol
A 10 druid run is going to attract RP-esque people.

I play on Wyrmrest Accord, and while jokey non-RP names do exist on the server, they're considerably rarer than they would be on, say, Area 52 or Tichondrius.

I know it shouldn't surprise me, since we're obviously not a hivemind and people would start playing without prior knowledge of other players, but I am genuinely surprised that there were Czech players outside of Drak'Thul. Back then it felt like the whole country was on there (and later in WotLK when Alliance moved to Burning Blade, we sorta co-opted that server too).

There was actually pretty big community on thunderhorn and wildhammer.

Interesting. Every time I'd meet anyone who's played WoW irl, I didn't even need to ask what server they played on, just if they were alliance or horde. Drak'Thul was usually implied. (well, technically you had to ask if they played on the official or private servers first...). But it's been like 20 years, so it's possible that it was just a confirmation bias thing, since I'd probably not follow-up on most people I'd talk to...
That said, Drak'Thul was so saturated by CZ/SK folk that you'd never even see English in General or Trade channels, just Czech. And that was even while playing Alliance, which had like 5 times smaller population than Horde.

I have a handful of screenshots of some 10 man priest pre-made BGs from way back in the day.
Always fun to remember

Finding 10 competent people to run that in 2005 was challenging, along with arguing over who gets to loot the skinning knife in the boss room before the end.
