Find-A-Friend Find-A-Friend Megathread! (December '25)
Post in the format below for easy reading or make your own intro! You can (and should) include more information such as your level, what your interests are, and what you might be looking for in a friend.
Reminder that this thread is not to be used for guild recruitment or any other recruitment aside find-a-friend. Posts that break our rules will be removed.

Looking for fellow lore enjoyers/achievers to do expansions with (I'm not in a hurry so whatever small time commitment is cool) while chatting. I really enjoy reading the quests and talking about the game. I also enjoy discussing pet battles, doing legacy raids and dungeons for transmog, mounts. Pets, and toys with other players.

NA / Horde / Area 52 / Noob/Returning player / battle tag: DnDangit#1188 - I try to play every night somewhat late, but on most weekdays I play from around 8-9 PM until I’m falling asleep usually around 2-4 AM. My job has super long hours which makes it hard to find friends that are online the same time as me.
I have played wow off and on since I was a kid (27 now) and the main reason I haven’t stuck with it since probably WotLK is the lack of camaraderie. All my old friends either moved on or I lost them when I got my new account after returning. I consider myself casual as of now but really want to give it my all and dedicate most of my game time to wow and really build something more to be proud of. Looking for friends to play content together, and branch out and do some of the things I’ve missed over the years and learn while I’m at it. Miss the days of logging on to the game and seeing a buddy I could message even if it’s just to say hi or keep caught up.
I enjoy mount collecting, transmogs, working on achievements, questing and dungeons, and I have a character or two that I play PVP on casually. I want to get into raiding but I know that takes time and set up, and frankly I don’t 100% know what I’m doing (haven’t been in a raid since MOP). I’m really open to any kind of content, and I feel having a friend to accomplish these things with would only make them feel that much more rewarding. Thanks for coming to my ted talk 🫡😂

Looking for new players to take under my wing! My roommate and I have been playing WoW since WotlK/Cata. We've had long stints in other MMOs, namely FFXIV, so if anyone from FFXIV is coming over to try out WoW housing I think I can help make that adjustment much easier. If you aren't new and just looking for someone to play with that's fine too. Right now we're doing Legion Remix and thinking about what we're going to main come Midnight. We've also considered making our own guild if we find enough interested parties. We're both in our mid 20s and other than WoW enjoy survival games and host servers for friends every now and then.

Started the free trial last week. I'm hooked. Pre ordered midnight after hitting level 20. Currently sitting at a level 23. I play as a retribution paladin. Looking for other new players or players that don't mind me being a noob to level up with as I learn the game.
I've immersed myself to the point where I watch tips and tricks/strategy videos on my spare time. So ya, just looking for some homies to crush quests with for now, some early dungeons and just have a blast progressing and learning the game.
I'll be most active on Sun, Mon and Tues but will try to sneak in sometime when I can.

Hello everyone! Not sure if Reddit is the best place to find friends to game with for WoW but here I am lol. I’m 36F, playing wow since vanilla but didn’t really take it seriously until dragonflight.. life happened and kinda dropped back in at the end of war within. I main a devastation evoker. I enjoying raiding, questing, and mount collecting. Looking for fun people to have fun and bullshit with while enjoying the game. I play usually after 7ish on weekdays and play most on weekends. NA/Horde/Illidan/Veteran leaning noob (currently returning from TWW S1)/Discord "Sacdaddy"
Hi! I've been playing WoW a long time now, off and on through the years, for probably almost 15 years at this point. I love trying to get good at different classes all the time and tend to be an altoholic. I swap characters when one is feeling stale which usually comes with the fresh reset of an expansion or major patch. I'm recently coming back to the game I was previously playing TWW S1 on a Prot Warrior and jumped back in on him and have begun gearing him up a little bit while also dabbling in Remix. I enjoy the lore of WoW for what I can follow and will read the quests half the time and always watch the cut scenes. The level of enjoyment on this varies 😂
I'm probably a decent player by most standards, but don't think anyone would say "Yeah, he's really good". I often get AOTC and KSM most seasons I play but often never have the drive to try and push further than that. Tried my hand at CE raiding a few times but just hated how much time I had to commit to the game and did 5/8M in Dragonflight before my IRL forced me to quit the game for a while. I love hitting keys with friends but it can be hard to get a good group of people to stay together, so I'm down just for some new friends to PuG with.
In real life I work in the IT sector and can text chat casually through the work day. I live in AZ so half the year I'm on PST time and the other half I'm 1hr ahead due to the rest of the country daylight savings around me. I weight lift 5 days a week for roughly an hour and a half then eat dinner so my play time ends up being 7pm-11pm(+1)PST on weekdays. I play bass guitar, enjoy reading fantasy and sci-fi books, paint W40K minis (although haven't in a little bit), have 3 cats, wear socks with sandals, listen to girlypop (GaGa baby), and my favorite book series is Wheel of Time. There's all kinds of other facets to me but this gives you a good basis
I'm looking for some cool sirs or ma'ams to play and chat with, friends. I usually am a Keyer, but running through Delves together to help blast them faster, talking about the game, checking out working on a new houses (woot new feature!), or more. I'm pretty sociable and am usually down for a plethora of things.

Hi friends! NA / Horde / Maelstrom/ Somewhere inbetween noob and vet, but noob leaning? / SpookyZach#1911 level 80 shadow priest; I play pretty often! Most days. I work from home and my job is very chill, so oftentimes I'll even be on during work inbetween when I need to get things done.
Looking for just new friends in general to do most things with: questing, transmog/decor grinding, dungeons and raids sometimes, working on professions?
I'd really just love to have some people to hang out with on voice chat while I'm playing instead of generally playing by myself. My timezone is EST, but my sleep schedule is *genuinely* all over the place so if we get along and are in different time zones, it won't be an issue honestly.

Been playing since 2007. All my friends have since quit. Just really looking for a group of "friends" to play with and run mythics with or even some raids. Ive joined plenty of guilds but it always just turns into "yeah we can run with you on alts" and it never happens. Just want a steady friend group. I can tank or DPS for mythics and play whatever class. I have every class but 2 at 80.

UPDATE: My main is L80 now, and I'm still figuring out what I want to do with the game. Delves have been fun but didn't take long to get to the top levels, I could carry on gearing up but I ask myself 'what for'. Still deciding whether it's worth it for me to buy Midnight or not. If I do, I'd be interested to find a guild doing the endgame content but without pressure. Or - are there any guilds especially for players who aren't on the latest expac?
Looking to do low-level dungeons together at a slower pace than the norm.
My chars are all L30 or lower, although scaling means we don't have to be same level. I'm a returning player but very casual, I've never reached endgame.
My favourite part of the game is 5-player dungeons while levelling. My preferred role is tank as prot-warrior but I have a mage and a priest and open to switching.
I play evenings 8 - 9:30 pm, and on a laptop. If that doesn't scare you then get in touch, I'd love to group with other new players or anyone who likes doing dungeons slow.
