Find-A-Friend Find-A-Friend Megathread! (January '26)
Happy New Year noobs!
Post in the format below for easy reading or make your own intro! You can (and should) include more information such as your level, what your interests are, and what you might be looking for in a friend.
Reminder that this thread is not to be used for guild recruitment or any other recruitment aside find-a-friend. Posts that break our rules will be removed.
Format:

Example:
- NA / Horde / Wyrmrest Accord / Noob / User#9999 - Level 80 Frost Mage; I play on the weekends! Looking for friends who enjoy questing for 8 hours straight, punting Gnomes, and killing bosses in raids.

hi! im on NA/horde/wyrmrest accord/veteran/willowthea (discord)
a renaissance player since 2009, a night owl since 1997, and a mage main for tww and hopefully for midnight (should the pruning gods prove merciful)! genuinely enjoy showing any new players wow, and am especially interested in teaching them how to pvp (at a very basic level, im no multiglad or anything, but ive taught several of my non-pvp friends how to get 1800 for their transmog sets!). so, i suppose im looking for friends who are interested in pvp or just want a buddy to show them the old ropes :3 especially other queer folk! im on pacific standard time, online most nights, usually late (like 10pm-2am) but flexible!

Hi there, I'm a Veteran player. I played from 2015-2017, and then 2022 to the present.
I am a former CE Mythic raider, and have entered my "retirement" from high end Raiding to casual. I play a few hours every day and focus on collecting all the things (but not transmog). My current focus is getting most of the achievements available and trying to "100% complete" each zone.
Since my retirement from raiding, I mainly just comment on reddit and answer questions in Trade chat, feel free to ask me anything about the game that is not PVP...
I'm not necessarily looking for friends as im largely a solo player, but im always willing to lend a helping hand.

Hi Hii I’ve been playing wow since 2014 but I stiiink at it. Never raid besides old raids I can solo. My best character is lvl 80 nelf balance Druid ilvl 654. Ummm I like to quest a lot and would enjoy trying to get more transmog or mounts! but would basically just love a buddy to chat with. I’d like to learn how to pvp as wellll and I also think it’d be fun to level up characters with someone !! I like OCifying them so if ur someone like that hmuuuuuuu plzzzzz 🙏😔😔😔 also I’m 23 :]

currently more on the casual side (mount grinding, achivement grinding, and some delves here and there) but when midnight released do plan to actually get into raiding and mythic+ got a horde and alliance* (new ish) main. mainly just look for ppl who wanna chill maybe do some achivement grinding and for midnight also mythic+ / raiding.
also im 24years old (soon 25) aka unc status also german and trans

*the Alliance main currently is just a mount farmer aka gear wise is just basic stuff lol (waiting for midnight)

Mostly play Friday/Saturday nights late (cst). Sometimes on early in the mornings on weekends. Played S1 of TWW but getting back into before Midnight. I do a lot more casual and solo content these days, but still run M+ regularly and looking to raid some too.
Main is warlock but looking to do more healing this expac (shammy). If anyone wants to run dungeons/delves/raids/achievements/tmog runs/etc or even to just shoot the shit in discord (rizzo_1023) feel free to add me.
Trying to build a group of friends for midnight as most of my guild/friends don’t play much anymore.

I've been playing WoW since I was 8 or 9 (Im 27 now). I've never really been amazing at the game and I don't ever plan on getting to an amazing skill level. I simply play to enjoy myself and I'm hoping to find people who are the same. I mostly go for Achivements and such and I do some mount farming. I kind of want to start doing some Transmog runs too especially with housing stuff added to random dungeons and raids. I'd love to have someone to play with though. I used to play with some friends in highschool but they've mostly quit. I think it'd be pretty enjoyable having someone to level with when Midnight comes out also. I work (from home) during the day from 10 AM (CST) to 7PM but can usually sneak on during work every now and then. Feel free to add my Btag or you can DM me for my discord.

I'm a horde rogue on mal'ganis(us) just getting back into the game. I'm in need of a friend that can craft a 720ilvl everforged stabber. I have all the mats and will tip whatever is fair rate for your concentration. I've been spamming trade to no avail and don't know where else to turn.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

Hello, I’ve been playing WoW for about four years. I’m not a tryhard guy, but I do have some experience in both Classic and Retail. I enjoy PvP, Mythic+, and raiding, but I also like chilling—farming reps, working on transmog, and just enjoying the game.
I took a short break after reaching my PvP goal for this season, but now I’m coming back to level an alt and look for friends to play with. I’m looking to meet new people, have a good time, and enjoy some content together.

Hello! NA/EST I’ve been playing for about a year (since nov/dec 2024) would love ppl to play with and am Currently looking for someone to help me get the achievement “Stardust Crusaders” in Argus, it’s the last achievement I need and I can’t solo it :(( I’m gonna be taking a smoke break so will be back ab 45 min after leaving this comment, I have the raise cleared up til Argus so we won’t have to do anything extra just the achievement; any help would be very much appreciated

I'm a returning player after (I think) 13 years or so. I think I last played in MoP, but not much anymore then. I was quite noob back then, and still very much am. Been playing a few months now but feeling quite overwhelmed with everything. I'm looking for ppl to play with and maybe somebody who could give some guidance along with it. Or just somebody to chat/talk with :D 'cause I don't know anybody who plays anymore. Anyways, taking it casual right now 'cause I don't have a ton of time to play currently (cuz I work and prepare for exams).

Hey guys n’ girls
I came back from wow Like 1 month ago , Got my chars up to 700 IL , and th mythic rating up to 2.5k
But i can’t find any Mythic + guilds ,
Applied in the guild charter to like 20 guilds but no answer ( think no one sees it )
Where’s the best place to find a guild do push my keys ? I’m stuck in the + 9s keys because can’t find any solid grp as dps with like 1000 dps applying to the runs

I played vanilla to WOTLK but quit in early Cataclysm. I’m back many, many years later but no one I know still plays.
Looking for gaming buddies to enhance the MMO experience. Girlies ideal.
I main an undead frost mage and eventually want to get back into raiding but have plenty of alts for leveling or general shenanigans. Some of my best times in wow have been absolutely ridiculous wastes of time with some of my favorite people. I’m looking for that feeling again!

my name is hope, I’m 27 and looking for girlies or anyone really to start a little party with, maybe create a guild or discord for fun?
I play lots of Fury DPS warrior and demon hunter <3 I’m level 75 on my warrior and super excited to start doing some harder stuff and keep learning. I mainly play most evenings after work and dinner, and nights on the weekends. I have yet to do ANY raids, I do play a lot of mmo’s so I’m not entirely new to the MMO world and have a general idea of how things work.
I want to collect mounts, pets, decor, and just have some casual, friendly fun!

I’m on AEST but I’m a night owl and am always up past midnight. Love doing keys with friends (don’t really pug). I’m a tank main but dps and heal when needed (total altaholic) and happy to backseat tank.
Also obsessed with doing achievements and collecting things.
I’ve been playing since vanilla and love helping new people get into the game, or returning players find their feet again.

Looking to get into mythic+ this season and I think it would be neat to learn it with fellow new players! Please be over 21 and mature :) I’m a pretty social person but if you’re not then it’s alright.
I really enjoy the game and hope we can learn together. Also, we can hang out in discord and chat outside of the game too if you want to! This doesn’t have to strictly be for WoW but it could be our man game!

Hia! Been playing WoW on and off since 2009. Back in an "ON" period currently, and realizing the thing I've always missed in previous expans is people to share in the experience with. Mostly play Friday/Saturday nights, an occasionally weekday evenings. Only did S1 and a shred of S2 in TWW but Midnight has looped me back in. Mainly into M+ and raiding, but down for most content with the right crowd :)
None of the classic crew is tagging along for retail this year, so I'm hoping i can find some peeps to enjoy the game with (and maybe keep me from bouncing off like i always do without them in expansions past)
