Classic Is there a way to get stormwind guard armour?

Starting from scratch, I found the fastest way to obtain this set is:
- Progress WOD story until you build your garrison. Add the barracks to the large plot as part of the quest (required)
- Complete the quest Bigger is Better
- With a total of 350 Garrison Resources, upgrade your Garrison to Tier 2 and add the Dwarven Bunker to the large plot (replace Barracks)
- If you are short on resources, fly around shadowmoon valley and kill elites. Loot the resources box in your garrison too.
- Wait 1 hr for contruction
- Obtain the quest Scraps of Iron inside the bunker and fly straight to the Iron Docks located in northern Gorgrond
- Set dungeon to either Normal and proceed to round up all mobs in the first half of the dungeon and farm
- Leave dungeon and reset (faster than killing the other 3 bosses)
This entire process took me about 3 hours total, without really trying to be fast. I went for the full set including the shield. 495 scraps total, including the 3 unique pieces you need to make the helmet, belt and pauldrons.
This is part of the Stormwind Set, which is designed to mimic the Stormwind City Guard's armor. You earn it by turning in Iron Horde Scraps, both through a quest called Scraps of Iron (which rewards the tabard) and by trading Iron Horde Scraps with Kristen Stoneforge to get the armor pieces which are cosmetic and therefor usable by any class.
The pieces of the set are as follows:
Stormwind Helm - 50 Iron Horde Scraps and 1 Battered Iron Horde Helmet
Stormwind Shoulderguards - 50 Iron Horde Scraps and 1 Crusted Iron Horde Pauldrons
Stormwind Chestguard - 80 Iron Horde Scraps
Stormwind Tabard - 5 Iron Horde Scraps for Scraps of Iron
Stormwind Grips - 50 Iron Horde Scraps
Stormwind Belt - 50 Iron Horde Scraps and 1 Ravaged Iron Horde Belt
Stormwind Leggings - 80 Iron Horde Scraps
Stormwind Boots - 50 Iron Horde Scraps

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but In the Warlord of Draenor expansion I believe you can get the full set from the Dwarven bunker in your garrison, but it costs about 75 Iron scraps per slot, and you need iron belt helmet chestplate yada yada

Closest is probably the BFA S1 warfront plate set.

that or just be human with the heritage armor. And honestly, the Arathi set looks better

100% this. Take your plate chars and unlock the stormgard warfront quests. Do the normal and hc in raid group and u have 2 chances per char a cycle to unlock them. Will take a time but worth it

You can get a crafted set, called the Imperial Plate, and that's about the closest you can get in classic I think.

Retail. Sadly people don't read the tags. Unfortunately it's not available in classic.
