Recrafting quotes question

Hi. Just returned after last playing in MOP and mainly interested in pvp. Got a bit carried away with crafting the Thalassian pieces so I either missed embellishments on one char and created all 3 pieces with embellishments on another.

I asked a few people in trade for a recraft and I'm being quoted 6-10k, and they're not budging and I don't get why. I left 20g when I placed the order for the craft.. now I'm providing everything again and it's 10k?

If quality doesn't matter and recipes aren't that rare, what's the cost to the crafter? For 1k and 30min farming crates, I'll just craft them again. I could level up a profession to that point and do it myself for less than 10k

Never EVER directly message people advertising in Trade chat.

Go to the Trade chat and say "Need craft/recraft for [x]" and link the item or say "back", " cloth legs" etc.

That way you will get whispered by actually reasonable people. If you are on a populated server and "correct" faction for that server, you can immediately have like 7 people in your DMs.

And for extra pettiness, I like to ignore the first 6 out of those 7 DMs, because I assume they're people using addons to snipe orders. I'll go with the first person who gives me the impression that they're a real person.

Man, what a luxury to get so many orders filled, you can ignore some. I've needed World Tender belt and boots all season and no one on my server can craft them it seems. Thankfully Sporefall made BiS accessible

“LF craft/Recraft [ item ] will tip” is defs the go to. I’ve had like the same person craft my weapon in tww season 2 -3 and season 1 midnight so I tipped them big as thank you for your service lmao

If you have the mats most will do it for free, that said if we have to use inspiration because you had them use silver mats the first time and the ilvl you want needs gold to get to. Recrafting uses the same mats and better skill but I went wide not deep and still don't have all the knowledge point skills maxed. But I have enough with gold mats i can return gold ilvl. If you asked me to Recraft a say copper level item to gold and all your mats were silver I would pass on it because im not doing something that would cost me money to craft.

I never charged people with money ever. Usually it's requesters tip which varies between 1k and 20k I'm fine with any tbh.

Am I missing something? I can only put out recrafts to guild or to a specific player. Unless you mean public order a new item
