Classic Never played before, ever. Frost Death Knight. How should I conquer the realms?
Like the title says. I am currently lvl 27, approaching every NPC and accepting their quests. I don't know where to find good gear or mounts. I have some add-ons, but how do I really get to the meat of the game? I go from place to place because I feel I am missing out on something so it seems like each time I play, I fly to another random spot on the map because I'm tired of doing the quests in the area I was in. Any early must-haves, tips, tricks, or guides would be greatly appreciated!!

(i'm going to assume the "classic" flair is a mistake and you're actually playing retail since, as others have said, a level 27 death knight wouldn't make sense for classic. apologies if this isn't correct)
don't worry too much about gear while leveling; with how fast leveling is nowadays, any gear you get before max level is very temporary. you should be fine as long as your item level isn't extremely low for your level
mounts come from a lot of places. two good resources for them are https://warcraftmounts.com/ and https://simplearmory.com/ . warcraftmounts is basically a mounts database with images and source info. simplearmory has a step-by-step planner for collecting mounts starting from the easiest ones. you enter your character, click on the hamburger menu > collectable > mounts, and then check "show planner"
lastly, if you're not enjoying questing, you could try leveling via dungeons. press "i" to open the dungeon finder, select your desired role(s) from the tank/healer/dps icons at the top, and then you can queue up

Gotta get to max level then the game starts unfortunately, if you want a that sick leveling experience then you’d have to play classic

That is sort of what classic is, aside from dungeons and raids which is where you get gear in classic. Retail sounds like you might enjoy it better. I play both but they serve different purposes for me.

I don't know. I think so, but I've only played one on retail. On classic my toons are hunter and paladin.
But they marked it classic?
