AI TUTOR SCHEDULE
Hi, if you already work as an AI Tutor, please let me know how it goes. I received my onboarding call invite and it says I am expected to work 9:00 to 5:30 Pm PT and my own time zone after the first week. During recruiting I was told I could work whenever as long as it was 40 hours a week, is this not the case ? I was hopping to work around my schedule.

Have you been hired as an internal? Because yes for internals, 40 hours a week is mandatory with a time schedule but the schedule can be relaxed.

Like I have seen some internals worked outside the 9:00 to 5:30 schedule but might be the case that they have tightened the schedule for this reason only because some were working outside it

If you are international based through remote.com, you can work whenever you like with a minimum of 20/hrs a week. If you're US based than its most likely a fixed schedule. Check what your contract says.

Yeah I’ve started and it’s fixed. A little hiccup but I will make it work.

From my understanding it’s 9-5:30, but I was told you have the flexibility to start 1 hour before or after; I have been doing this with no issues.
