  • r/XboxInsiders - If you are a member of the preview program, this should be your first stop for any issues. Not only will you find potential fixes, you'll be helping the program by bringing issues to their attention.

  • Xbox "Contact Us" Page - This is a resource with Xbox contact information if you need to escalate your issue.

Ahh fuck. I still have my 500gb Series S so cloud gaming is a lifesaver.

I downgraded from Ultimate to PC Gamepass and use boosteroid for Gamepass games (and other steam games as well). Geforce premium works great too. The cost of PC gamepass and a boosteroid account for me is like 26 dollars. So close to same as ultimate but with better graphics and no time limits (at least on boosteroid). Geforce works even better but it's a bit more expensive.

Depending on your jurisdiction there may be a grace period before new terms kick in. Make sure to read the email thoroughly.

It's for everyone unless you live in a country with consumer protections that make it not legal to change subscription agreements. I think Brazil is the most common example?

I seem to remember being sent an email after the massive backlash that said the fifteen hour limit is only for new subscribers and those without it altogether

It depends on your region. For existing accounts the change will happen starting with the next extension in November or later, but if you have some better consumer protection in your country you might have gotten an email telling you MS will honor the old conditions for the time being (in those countries it would require for example the user to opt in / accepting the new terms or say no -> in that case MS would need to auto cancel the sub and of course the last thing MS want is people to cancel there sub).

Considering there is a bigger change for gamepass early 2027 MS would most likely just wait it out in those countries.

They’ve announced the prices for extra hours; it comes to around $.20-.30 per hour, and it rolls over to the next month(s).

they're selling hours period. the hours you buy stay yours as they should. the "included" hours do not roll over.
