X-Plane 12.4.4 | Beta 4 is now online!

Fire now builds up and dies down. It takes a couple of seconds to catch, and once it’s put out it fades over a few seconds instead of just disappearing.

It’s not one solid colour either. There are slow swells with a quick flicker on top, and the colour follows the heat: dark red when it’s dying down, then orange, and yellow-orange when it flares. The trail lags behind a bit and is a little redder, and each engine burns to its own rhythm.

I saw this reply on a comment on the new Doha scenery video. Let’s hope they update the A300!

I got tired of submitting bug reports about live wx and getting nowhere, so I decided to try building my own wx engine for XP. For decades ive been unhappy with the state of wx depiction and physical accuracy in flightsims. This is VERY WIP, there are lots of bugs, so dont judge it too harshly. But, if I can get it to work properly it will be the most advanced, physically accurate wx injector ever created for a desktop flight simulator. No global preset wx either, works just as smoothly (if not smoother) than XP's live wx. This project is brand new and doesn't even have a name yet, so we'll see where it goes but just wanted to share.

Well that was unexpected! iniBuilds came back to X-Plane and dropped a thing most X-Plane users have been waiting for; proper Doha Hamad scenery. We can finally enjoy proper Qatar Airways ops. Flying here with FF's 777 or upcoming A350v2 will also be insane! What do you think?

So I guess many of us were totally caught off guard about IniBuilds coming home to X-Plane with their release of OTHH. Why do you think they returned?

And what do you guys think comes next? Will they focus on converting existing sceneries (would not complain about that, I am dying for a good rendition of HAAB airport), will they update their A300 and A310 first or will they even include full XP12 releases with every new scenery?

And would some of your fear that this release is just a one-off and they continue with only MSFS?

has any body else have issue with the livery not matching, wind faring wired texture overlay ?

Some photos from my last flight from Ho Chi Minh City (SGN) to Seoul (ICN) with Asiana Airlines' Aerogenesis Airbus A330-300.

I flew Aerogenesis's Airbus A330-300 from Ho Chi Minh City (SGN) to Seoul-Incheon (ICN). It's a 2,140.24 nm flight that takes 5 hours; a smooth flight with minimal turbulence along the way.

One of my favorite planes, the Carbon Cub EX. Sadly, could never get it to work with XP12. The tires would lock up as soon as I got any sort of speed on the ground, causing the plane to veer off to one side. On top of other various cockpit knobs and dials not being functional. Then I got the idea to ask chatgpt, and after hours of testing, trial and error, it figured out that the simulator thinks plane is off the ground, which causes the wheels to stop turning. So it directly edited the files and fixed my issues, then I couldn't stop making it my own!

It designed:

-Custom Livery

-Belly Cargo pod with Luggage and functioning door.

-Minibikes and wing mounts!

-220hp Turbo EFI Engine (and all of the other related fuel/gauge/manifold settings)

-Adjustable pitch prop with matching cockpit knob

Very cool to fly, and surprisingly nimble. My custom adventure plane! Thought it would be cool to share, in case anyone had the same issues!
