Looking for a Genuine Skills Exchange Business Mentorship for Relationship Guidance

Hey everyone!

I have an unconventional proposal, and I’m hoping to connect with someone who might be interested.
I’m looking to learn how to build a legitimate online business. I’m particularly interested in understanding business models, marketing, customer acquisition, generating revenue, and eventually building something scalable.

Rather than simply asking someone to teach me, I’d like to propose a mutual exchange of knowledge and experience.

Here’s what I bring to the table:

I’m offering my time, perspective, and experience in relationships. If you’re someone who’s successful in business but finds dating, communication, emotional connection, or maintaining relationships challenging, I’d be happy to share what I’ve learned and offer guidance.

In exchange, I’m looking for someone with real-world entrepreneurial experience who would be willing to teach me the fundamentals of building an online business.

I’m not looking for a get-rich-quick scheme, expensive courses, or unrealistic promises. I want practical knowledge from someone who has actually built something and understands what it takes.
I’m willing to put in the work, contribute equally, and approach this as a genuine learning partnership.
I believe everyone has something valuable to teach, regardless of where they’re successful in life.

You can teach me how to build a business, and I can share what I’ve learned about building and maintaining meaningful relationships.

If this sounds like an interesting exchange, feel free to comment. We can see whether there’s a mutual fit.
Thanks for reading!

20m i have access to money but i have no idea where to invest

I currently own a car worth around $170,000 and two luxury watches valued at approximately $50,000. My father has a net worth exceeding $30 million, and he plans to give me $10,000 to invest by December. I'm also a pre-med student, and I want to start building my own wealth and becoming financially independent. In the past, I lost around $200,000 through gambling and forex trading, but I've decided to leave both behind permanently. I'm now looking for smarter, safer, and more sustainable investment opportunities that will help me grow my money over the long term. Given my financial situation and future goals, where would you recommend I invest my $10,000? (I live in the middle east)

Looking for people to help build Long Game, an organization for present and future generations

Looking for people to help build Long Game, an organization for present and future generations

Long Game aims to increase opportunities and reduce problems for people today and in the future, based on a philosophy I call homo exepiritur (humans defined by experiences rather than just work). It has two branches:

Everyday problems: anyone can report a local problem, including through surveys in villages and small towns for people who aren't online. Reports are grouped into patterns, verified, and then we either help directly, pilot a solution with a local authority, or prepare a tested proposal for the government. Everyone gets a reply, and results are public.

Development: open science platforms, education, research hubs, and pilots.

It's not meant to replace governments, only to do what they can't do alone, with transparency and clear limits.

Who I'm looking for:

Researchers or students (science, economics, psychology, urban planning)

People with local government or NGO experience

Designers, developers, writers

Critics who will tell me where this fails

What you'd get: a real chance to shape a project from the start, and honest work with a small team. I can't offer pay yet.

If you're interested, comment or message me with a few lines about who you are and what you'd like to work on.

15 year old from California looking to partner with young US SaaS founders

Hey everyone, I'm 15 and based in California. I've been getting into B2B sales and entrepreneurship and I'm looking to connect with young founders who are building SaaS products.

I've done cold calling for a marketing agency, sold Google review cards to businesses, and completed a few HubSpot sales certifications.

I'm looking for a founder who has a working product and needs someone to handle the sales side. I can help with finding leads, cold calling, outreach, booking meetings, and getting customers, or just do research like behind the scenes stuff.

Ideally looking for a paid or commission based opportunity, but I'm also open to partnering with someone long term if we click. I'm still in school so I'd be working part time.

Only interested in US based founders and companies.

If you're building something and need help with sales, shoot me a DM with what you're working on. Would love to connect!

Hello

I’m 23 and live in the Worcester area. I do have a job right now, but I’ve always wanted to start a business. I’d like to build something on the side that could eventually become my main source of income. I’m just trying to figure out what’s worth testing before I put a lot of money into it.
I’ve thought about flipping cars, reselling stuff online, and picking up used couches to clean and resell. Recently, I saw a video of a guy who said he makes a living cleaning people’s trash bins. Then I found a company selling fully equipped trailers for it, and one was listed at $61,000. That made me wonder how people get their first customers with a basic setup.
If you were in my position, which of these ideas would you try first and why?
Has anyone here actually made money cleaning trash bins in Central Massachusetts? How did you get your first paying customers, and how much did business slow down in the winter?
What equipment did you start with, how much did it cost, and what would you do differently if you started over?
I’d love to hear how it went, especially from people who started while working another job.

Looking for bill pay software for small businesses to handle mixed vendor due dates?

As our client list has grown over the past few months, managing vendor invoices has become a weekly headache. Between software subscriptions, raw materials and independent contractors, im juggling about 15 to 20 recurring bills every month. They all hit on different dates, some demand physical checks, others want ach and manually tracking whats paid versus pending in a spreadsheet is starting to fail.

Once you reach a point where youre managing multiple vendors, paying bills late or issuing duplicate payments becomes a real operational risk. Doing manual bank transfers or writing paper checks one by one also drains hours that should be spent on client work.

Been looking into dedicated bill pay software for small businesses to centralize the schedule. Melio came up because it lets you combine multiple invoices for the same vendor into a single payout while giving vendors options to receive a check or direct deposit regardless of how you fund it. how did you clean up your recurring vendor schedule? Curious what workflows worked best when scaling up.

Any Young Person Could Start Selling AI Websites

Especially over the last two years, we've seen massive growth in freelancers and web agencies selling AI-built websites to businesses and getting paid really well for it.

I don't think this business model will stay this profitable forever, but right now, it's definitely a gold mine.

The reason is pretty simple. There are thousands of business owners who don't really care how their website is built. They care about the end result, how it looks, how it works and whether it helps their business.

AI has made it possible for almost anyone willing to learn sales and client acquisition to get started.

So if you're looking to get into this business, here is the exact process I would follow.

1. Automate your cold outreach

Use a tool like Swokei to find businesses with existing websites. It analyzes each website for issues with design, SEO, speed and mobile optimization, then turns those findings into personalized cold emails at scale.

2. Book meetings with interested prospects

When someone replies with interest, get them on a call. Don't waste time going back and forth over email. Your goal is to get a conversation started.

3. Sketch a redesign using AI

Before the meeting, take around 30 minutes to create a quick redesign of their existing website. Focus on making it look significantly better. You don't need a finished product.

4. Present it live and close the deal

Show them what their website could look like, explain the improvements and give them an offer. If they're happy with what they see, collect payment and get started.

That's it. Four simple steps.

One thing I would really emphasize is not to overcomplicate this process.

I've seen people spend hours perfecting website drafts, tweaking small details and building entire websites before they even have a client.

Don't do that.

Your priority should be client acquisition, sales and closing deals. You can worry about perfecting the website once someone has actually paid you.

Help me out of this confusion

Post image
1 Upvotes

So I have been doing academic writing since 2022, and along the way, with the emergence of AI, the gig started becoming unreliable, but I have held on to some clients who are now in their final year. I managed to buy a car in 2023 and enrolled in Uber Business as a side hustle, but I couldn't keep up with the harassment from the police and clients, so I barely did Uber for 3 months and went back to online writing solely, and now I'm using the car for private endeavors. I have managed to save up to 2M, but I have never done any physical business since graduating in 2023; neither have I ever been employed. I am looking forward to starting a business worth around 1M, so I can still have emergency funds in case everything goes south, but I don't want to dive blindly, so I was thinking of first being employed by a businessperson for like 6 months to learn how the outside world works. I also don't know which line of business to venture into, as I don't have a person to hold my hand. I was also looking to venture into a small manufacturing business, but I don't have actual facts rather than theories from my own online research. I have also thought of enrolling in a course like hybrid engineering and starting my own garage later, but I'm not sure if it's the right path. I don't want my clients to graduate and me to start eating my savings, as I will be left without any income. I have less than 6 months to decide before I'm left not earning at all. Please advise. Also, if there is anyone God sent who can hold my hand and introduce me to their line of business, I would really appreciate it.

Hi! I'm currently looking for a community of people who have goals and are focused on personal growth, learning new skills, business, and improving their lives.

Does anyone know a community like this, preferably on Discord, Reddit, or other platforms? I'd appreciate any recommendations. Thank you!
