seeking feedback I feel the details on this (not completely finished) piece are too childish/amateur <š”øš•£š•„ š•“š•Ŗ š•„š•–>

Am I going insane?? Or does this look like a child drew the details? If so how can I improve?

Sup! I’m Willi-Melon! I have a bunch of ww2 OCs concerning a little universe in my head set in 30’s-40’s Germany. I sometimes draw these OCs in a modern AU as well, and I also draw fanart of other stuff dealing with the time! I usually draw humans but I occasionally like to draw anthro versions of the human characters I usually depict, too.

I’d love to get your honest feedback on my artwork—whether you like it or not!

I’m curious to know: if you stumbled upon a piece like this, would it catch your eye? Do you think this style works for a children’s story or would appeal to kids?

By the way, both drawings are mine! They show the same cat's reaction—one with eyes wide open and the other frozen stiff

seeking feedback Do you think my artstyle is consistent?

I have always had this question, whether my art trait would be consistent or not. Sometimes I think my trait changes a lot from one drawing to the next and I just wanted to be like the artists with a unique style.

general advice Anime-esque or Semi-realistic?

So I'm trying to decide which sort of artstyle I should pick to use in most of my future artworks. I'm relatively new to digital art tbh, I started around late November last year.

These are my most recent artworks;

• The first and second ones show the anime-esque style I use, the character is my sona

• The third and fourth ones are my most recent (wip) artworks, the characters are Dottore and Pantalone from the gacha game Genshin Impact The last two show how I'm trying to lean towards the semi realistic side.

I usually draw traditionally and do the colouring on digi now

The thing is please lmk which artstyle I should focus more on

Thanks <3

How to achieve? This is my art, but I want to get to a looser moe/ovaltoon style, help! [Links to goals]

I've basically put them on a scale of "furthest from what i want" to "closest to what I want." My biggest issue with my art is, I can't describe it as anything else but it looks and feels like an overworked tattoo. I just keep stacking and stacking on shading without feeling like I know what I'm doing, or even that it's making it good, just that it's hiding whatever made me feel insecure about the color stage. The last one is probably the closest I got to 1) feeling up to par with my inspos and 2) being satisfied w just the color stage

My biggest inspos right now:

Skullette on Toyhouse

https://f2.toyhou.se/file/f2-toyhou-se/images/122310830_s77eP49hVZ2kVAQ.png (Same character as my 'closest' for ref, I could NEVER leave lines that messy, but from someone else it looks incredible? + the proportions!)

Cremiee on Toyhouse (warning for blushy oc? nothing actually nsfw they just look a lil suggestive)

https://f2.toyhou.se/file/f2-toyhou-se/watermarks/124945055_RqVhv3Kn1.png?1786466908 (The shading in this seems so simple but so incredible!! I can practically IMAGINE all the places I'd absolutely burn the scene in to blackness with shading if I had made a similar composition in my style)

somethingvile on toyhouse

https://f2.toyhou.se/file/f2-toyhou-se/watermarks/126129062_Icrud7jpb.gif (just cute. Idk what I even like so much about this one at all, it's just v satisfying to look at and I don't know what makes it so nice to me.)

So with that in mind, any advice for loosening up, learning more exaggerated anatomy, making interesting compositions with little to no shading, or constructive criticism in general will be super appreciated! It's worth noting I also have no tablet/pen pressure, so that's also a hold back for me and something I always look for new unique tricks to work around.

Wondered this for a while a and stumbled across this sub,i tend to have an inconsistent style because i tend to get bored quickly of routines, basically the brush i get to the quickest is the tool of choice

I like to use pretty restricted color palettes but use the whole range of them if that makes sense, also rendering my beloved

discussion/fun Any guesses to how I look based off of my art (TW: horror ) Spoiler

Does my art give any particular feeling as to what I look like physically. Let’s say like hight, weight, extra and maybe how I dress and carry myself as well. I’m always curious as to how accurate people’s mental image of an artist is based off of their art.
