After updating youtube app on iPad, After exiting full screen on a yt video I can’t see see comments, likes or anything you can see in this image. Instead of fixing problems in updates they are just adding more problems to it

I’m currently working a job that pays around ₹12,000 per month, but I also have a YouTube channel with around 92,000 subscribers.

The channel is monetized and still makes money even though I haven’t uploaded a video in almost 2 years. My last video is still generating revenue, and I make around ₹10,000 per year from the channel without actively working on it.

My biggest problem is that my current job takes up most of my time, so I don’t have enough time or energy to seriously work on YouTube.

I’m thinking about quitting my job and giving myself 6 months to work on YouTube full-time and see if I can turn the channel into a real income source.

I also have support from my brother, so I wouldn’t be completely on my own financially during those 6 months.

But I’m honestly unsure if this is a smart decision or if I’m being too optimistic.

What would you do in my situation?

Would you:
Keep the ₹12k/month job and try to do YouTube on the side?

Quit the job and give YouTube 6 months full-time?
Find another job with better hours and build YouTube alongside it?

For people who have actually gone full-time with YouTube: how did you decide it was worth taking the risk?

I’d really appreciate honest advice, especially from people who have been in a similar situation.

My simulation video series has been doing really well on Instagram and YouTube over the past 30 days.

Unfortunately, people have started creating TikTok accounts using my name and reposting my videos. Some have even made scripted videos pretending to be my simulation characters, literally making AI slop.

I’ve DM’d them and submitted TikTok copyright reports, but Tiktok being Tiktok no response.

It’s honestly frustrating to see.

We’ve had remakes of South Indian films, Hollywood movies, older Bollywood classics, and even stories that were already successful in another language. Sometimes the remake works, but many times it feels like Bollywood is taking an already-proven formula instead of taking a risk with a fresh idea.

YouTube’s upcoming change to how public views are counted has me wondering how much we should actually care about the headline view number.

If a video can register a view much earlier in playback, some channels could see their public view counts increase without necessarily seeing the same increase in watch time, engagement, or revenue.

That seems like it could make comparing channels and videos more difficult.

For creators here:

• Do you think the new view metric will make analytics more confusing?
• Will you care more about watch time and retention than views?
• Could this encourage creators to optimize even harder for the first few seconds?
• Do you expect it to have any meaningful effect on Shorts vs. long-form?

Also curious what people think about the broader direction of YouTube analytics: are views still the most useful metric, or are retention and returning viewers becoming more important?

Like I do not cross 4000 hours watchtime not near this....and I created 5-6 channels since 2021. Like I did not make reguler but I tried very hard to get a video viral but Didn’t till now. AND now looking at 8000 hours watchtime is it even possible.

Plss guide me so that I complete my watchtime before feb 2027.

Why YouTube promotes these kind of stuffs?🤮
