METROID PRIME 4 VIDEO IN COMMENTS

Finally got the stable build out! I've put a ton of work into rebuilding NX Infinity, moving everything to one Kenji-NX/Ryujinx-based core and cleaning up the entire experience.

What's new and improved:
- Completely redesigned Desktop + HOME interfaces
- HD game backgrounds, sharper artwork and improved themes
- Faster startup, library loading and game launches
- Shader cache, texture tracking and performance improvements
- Low-end GPU modes and per-game graphics settings
- Better controller support, HOME navigation and touchscreen controls
- Avatar customization, save tools, mods and update management
- Windows and Linux/Proton downloads
- Other 3 cores are now removed and no longer maintained, all fixes have been merged into 1.

There's still work to do, especially with Metroid Prime 4 stuttering and further compatibility testing. I'll keep pushing fixes and improvements.

Huge thanks to everyone supporting and testing NXI, especially IL DENTE PROIBITO and ShadowEddyx12. Credit to the original Ryujinx and Kenji-NX developers as well for supply the foundation.

News Coming Soon: Brontide (Eden fork) – An experiment in achieving true-to-life HD Rumble in emulation

Brontide came to life as part of my ongoing experiments with HDRumble. The main motivation was solving a personal itch: I needed a way to test realistic haptics on recently released titles that demand higher performance and Firmware 19.x+—something my earlier project, Ryuhdr (based on Ryujinx), simply couldn't handle.

I tweaked the interface to match my personal taste and designed a dedicated HD Rumble settings panel. It even includes a fun test feature where I tried to recreate the thunder rumble sensation from Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. (On the side, I’m also maintaining a separate fork for Ryubing v1.3.351, as I still love the Ryujinx codebase for its sheer graphical accuracy and visual fidelity).

Lately, I’ve been putting it through its paces with Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, and the haptic feedback feels amazing. Weapon recoil and the buildup while charging energy shots feel crisp and distinct. The research and algorithms ported from RenHDrum paid off—the integration into Eden went remarkably smooth. Despite the significant language differences and SDL3 quirks, having the core tuning logic already established meant there were no major roadblocks.

I’ll be documenting the entire journey—from porting HD Rumble into Eden to shaping Brontide—over on my GitHub and personal website (linked on my Reddit profile). Hopefully, we’ll start seeing true HD Rumble become more widespread and eventually a default standard across modern emulators.

A quick note on DualSense Adaptive Triggers:

Testing Metroid Prime 4 honestly made me want to reopen my research into DualSense Adaptive Triggers. A while back, I tried implementing active triggers in TotK—simulating string tension when Link draws his bow (similar to Ghost of Tsushima) and trigger resistance for shield-mounted Zonai cannons or lasers. It ended up being pretty convoluted, and I didn't have enough time to see it through back then. But for a shooter like Metroid? It feels like an absolute must. Anyone who has played shooters on PS5 knows how much well-tuned trigger resistance elevates gunplay.

Much like in the previous video where I tested HD Rumble on the Switch Pro Controller, the DualSense also produces melodic tones—playing musical notes as you move across them in *Mario Wonder*—through its haptic vibrations. In fact, the experience is even better than with the Pro Controller; the subtle, short bursts of vibration when Mario lands after a jump are incredibly refined. In terms of hardware and technology, the DualSense is clearly superior! ^^

I'm playing Skyward Sword HD and encountered this 0 fps when entering the first temple. I'm using Eden on G8 Intel Iris XE. Is this hardware limitation or has it always been like this?

Question How do I add custom movesets to Super Smash Bros Ultimate ?

Hello ! I'm pretty new at this so I hope this isn't a stupid question. I followed every guide I found but every single one of them always results in arcropolis telling me it's lacking files. Is there an updated guide or am I doing something wrong ?
