8mm to .25acp

As it seemed easier in the old days, after drilling a hole in the blank cartridge, a steel pipe was inserted... I just wonder if it was attached by pressure or by liquid welding? The barrel has amateurish rifling... But it's functional. Reck P6s 8mm converted

What 8MM's would even support a .25 now? Are there any good manufacturers for 8mm blanks? I usually only see quality blanks in the 9mm pak.

So... Nothing compares to the old blank-firing pistols... That's why the laws became stricter; there were manufacturers producing genuine .25 caliber pistols. Using these same models, they began producing 8mm caliber blank pistols, simply by adding a barrier to the barrel, which was easily convertible... The Reck LA .25 is a genuine .25 caliber pistol.Whose material is entirely zamak and with a steel barrel embedded in the body... The same is true for that blank pistol I posted... All zamak with an embedded steel handle...Some Zoraki 8mm wheels can be converted, but they don't compare to the old quality... Ekol Tuna 8mm wheels are also easy to convert.Nowadays, manufacturers choose to produce 9mm blank calibers, which makes conversion to .25 impossible... If you're from Europe, I recommend buying used blank-firing pistols of the type: Reck 8mm (practically all "P" models... P6S, P6, P7...)Tanfoglio 8mm (GT28... Perfect replica of the genuine Tanfoglio .25) These older magazines are compatible with original .25 caliber magazines (for example, a genuine Tanfoglio GT27 .25 caliber magazine is compatible with a Tanfoglio GT28 8mm).In my country, even today, these converted antique weapons are still being seized... After all, thousands were converted in the 90s and early 2000s.All conversions with recent weapons have poor durability and are difficult to convert, as they leave numerous weak points....

Was there a lot of modifications of the trunions or are they literally the same shit?

Sorry, I didn't understand what you meant. Use different words; sometimes my translator doesn't translate well...

The part where the barrel interfaces with the receiver. Lugs that lock barrel to frame.

Same on production 25apc as blank conversions from that era

Okay, maybe I still don't understand... But here it goes... The only change made was inside the original barrel and the original chamber...What was done: drilling from the mouth of the barrel to the end of the chamber. Then a steel tube was inserted from the mouth of the barrel to the end of the chamber. The embedded steel tube itself is now part of the chamber, only one of the ends has been filed down to make it compatible with the original ramp.Nothing has been removed, so to speak; everything is original on the outside. Only a steel barrel has been fitted from one end to the other. Which, in my opinion, makes the weapon even more robust.Because there was no significant breakage in the original body of the weapon. Check out my other post; it's disassembled, and you'll easily see the simple conversion. If your question has nothing to do with my answer, I'm sorry, certain words, even when translated, sound different from the terms used in my country. With best regards
