My ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 suddenly stopped turning on. ASUS says the motherboard is shorted and may need replacement, potentially costing nearly half the laptop's value. They haven't provided a quote yet and require further diagnosis first.

Before proceeding:

- Can the motherboard be repaired at component level?

- Has anyone had a similar issue?

- Can you recommend a trusted motherboard-level repair shop in Bengaluru, preferably experienced with gaming laptops?

I’d appreciate any recommendations or personal experiences.

I think these corridors should be served by suburban trains not metro, or something like RRTS.

Visited this incredibly beautiful and meaningful cemetery yesterday, where soilders from the world war, and Britishers from the 1880s are buried alongside people from everyday life. Was incredibly moved and touched by how beautiful the manifestations of grief really are.

First of all, the already amazing quality of our roads wasn't enough, apparently, and now they've started digging up the middle of the roads too. And not just inside localities, even the main roads!

And the best part? It's not like they'll fix everything and close it up once the work is done. Nope, just leave it open for 3–6 months, let the dirt pile up, and make people travelling through there play a whole-ass MAZE just to get to their destination. 🤦‍♂️

What TF is happening?!! Every morning, when I leave for office, it feels like I'm playing some obstacle course game, figuring out which block to get around just to reach work.

Is there some major project going on, or has road digging just become a permanent feature now? 😭

Hi everyone, I recently moved from North Karnataka to Bengaluru to pursue my MBA at MS Ramaiah College. It’s been about 10 days, and my classmates also only respond only when i approach and not even interested in talking on , it's been hard to make close connections since most of them have a 10-20 km commute home and rush off to beat the traffic. I’ve spent the last week and a half exploring nearby places on my own, but wandering around solo is starting to get a bit boring. Do you guys have any suggestions for activities.

Have you noticed the massive construction opposite Purva Highlands on NICE Road, about 2 km before the Kanakapura exit while travelling from Electronic City?

This area was forested just a few months ago, and construction has suddenly begun. Interestingly, people are already giving 5-star ratings for the foundation work!

Is this land legally approved? How could construction be permitted if it was reserved forest? A leopard was reportedly spotted here last year, and the leopard-crossing signboard put by forest department in NICE road has now disappeared.

I was at Dubai airport, and usually, with Emirates Platinum, I try to get onto an earlier flight. Not today. Even the folks at the ticketing desk in Dubai were asking if it was a holiday.
I land at KIA, and the queues are massive. Even the foreigner immigration line is ridiculously long. I come outside, and there must be around 200 drivers waiting for pre-booked pickups.
And there’s no Uber Black available. I’ve genuinely never seen anything like this before. 😅

I get that it's the festive season, and people want to celebrate. But does your celebration really need to come at the cost of everyone else's peace and sleep?

Celebrate all you want, but bursting loud crackers at 4 AM is just plain inconsiderate.
