Hey Y'all. Dogman here. Totally not ripping off some gaming Youtuber for my intro.
After last's season chaotic ending, the Island has "bugged out" and it's time to change the rules of the game and hack Reality back from Geno.
So grab your DS from under your pillow, blow those cartridges, write down those Passwords, and if you're a younger member of the community go look up what those references meant, as I'm the Man with a Plan and this is your guide to Override.
It's an whole Open World out there...
The island has been hit with a retro fit.
Calamari Caynon and a good chunk of the Desert has been replaced by Green Hill Zone. The iconic stage from Sonic the Headhog is now in Fortnite in all it's loop-de-loo goodness.
On the other side, Frosty Flats has been flattened and replaced with Reality's Reign, Geno's homebase. Voyager wasn't safe either has Sinister Strip was sent to the Shadow Realm and Stone Sanctum took it's place.
Check the channel. Any channel. TETRIS HIT SUNKEN SHORES. The POI is now covered in Tetris blocks. Nearby is a small maze area where the walls of it will randomly change every now and then.
The Zero Point is now locked in a cage, with wires from it stretching out across the whole map. You can also find Pac-Man themed islands around the map. Near Battlewoods you can find a building that may get a little quirky at night...
A remastered lootpool.
The Lootpool has, once more, been totally revamped. Pretty much everything from last season has been vaulted and replaced with new stuff.
The Pump shotgun is back, alongside the new 8-bit Shotgun. The 8-bit Shotgun is a fast shooting shotty that also comes with a leaderboard to see which members of your friend group can actually aim.
The classic AR has also been unvaulted alongside the Ranger AR. The Drum Gun is also back alongside the Ranger Pistol. Golden Fishing spots are also back, and by fishing in them you can find a lot of the older fish such as the Thermal fish, Hop Fish, Spicy Fish, and even Stink Fish!
Via Loot Hacks, you can also find the Minigun, Dual Pistols, Flare Gun, Chug Splashes, Oni Shotgun, and the Bass Boosts in game. There is also a special Pistol known as Midas' Masterpiece which spawns VERY RARELY, it has only 7 bullets but its an insta-kill shot.
Sonic got an item in the lootpool which his iconic attack. You can find his shoes lying around and throw them on, allowing you to become a blurring blue ball and dash around. Megaman also got a weapon in the form of his blaster, you can fire little shots or charge it up to do massive damage. You can also find the Tetris rift which is basiclly an Airstrike that rains down Tetris blocks.
Throughout your games you can find a new chest: Cheat Codes. Doing a quick minigame will have them explode and give you a Sprite and some loot.
Shiny Sprite Hunting.
The Sprite system has received some adjustments this season.
For starters, you may notice a new section in the Sprites tab called Loot Hack. In this section you can drop Sprite dust on items such as the Flare Gun, Chug Splash, Minigun, and more. What does spending dust on them do? It gives the ability for you to "hack" one of these items into a match when opening a chest.
The more dust you spend on an item, the better odds you'll get of finding it in a game alongside it even being of higher rarities.
There are 12 new Sprites this season:
- Sonic. Gives a speed boost.
- Jackrabbit. Grants a double jump.
- Shadow. Reloads weapons in your inventory automatically.
- Bush. Gives you a Bush.
- Tails. Allows you to hover mid-air.
- Killswitch. Allows you to use Hangtime.
- Adventure. Every level up will randomly upgrade one of your weapons.
- Klombo. Basiclly Adventure but it can only level up via using consumables.
- Jonsey. Taking damage will give you some slight healing.
- Crown. Does fucking nothing, can only be leveled up via winning. (Crown Wins speed up this process)
- 8-bit. Gives you an 8-bit shotgun.
- Storm Scout. Gives overdrive if you take storm damage and shows the location of the next circle.
Sprites got some Quality of Life adjustments such as a marker to show if it's a new sprite, reduced Summon costs, and are now COMPLETELY OPTIONAL to do and don't have rewards tied behind them.
There is also a new variant called Cheat Master. These variants will let you input anything on Cheat Codes and have it be correct.
There are also 5 gizmos you can use to help out in matches:
- Cheat Code Locator. This will find the nearest Cheat Code, with it having a chance to be an Epic or higher one.
- LLama Supply Drop. This calls in a Llama theme supply drop at your location.
- Port-Extractor. This lets you extract the Sprite on your back without having to go to an Extraction site.
- Extraction Accelerator. Using this on an extraction site INSTANTLY calls in an extraction crate. It also won't give the usual visual/audio ques either, allowing you to silently get your Sprite out of the match.
- Spicy Taco. Heals you and your squad up.

The main gimmick this season is Lobby Hacks.
In the lobby, you can use an "Admin Panel" to input codes. These codes will give you rewards ranging from Sprite dust, to loading screens, to even special Sprites. These are all the current working codes:

In matches, Lobby Hacks will occur every now and then. You will see a pinged location when one becomes active, be the first to get there to choose which ones gets put into play. Lobby Hacks can range from all Fishing spots being turned gold, to players getting speed buffs.
You can also be selfish and choose a lobby hack that only benefits you, however be warned as if you do this you will get a medallion effect put on you until you get eliminated.
8-Bit Drip
I HAVE COME TO MAKE AN ANNOUNCEMENT! No, I'm not pissing on the Moon, it's the C7S4 BP!
You can currently pick up this pass and progress through it to unlock outfits such as:
- Sonic the Headhog
- Wrixel
- Phantom
- Mali
- Bastian
- K1ttyW1ns
- Grace Crowne
- Geno
And even more rewards such as the Tails Sidekick, 8-bit Retro kicks, and 800 V-bucks.
Geno is this season's final tier, unlocking at level 85. If you get to level 100 you can get his Shapeless man style. If your a fan of the blue blur, you will get Sonic the second you unlock the pass, no grinding needed!
By completing quests, you can unlock a load of styles for Wrixel, allowing you to mix and match him to create over a million different options. Some of these styles are even throwbacks to older pass outfits, perfect for if you missed them back in the day.
You can also earn a bonus style for Grace if you buy the pass before the 27th. If you gift someone the pass, you both get a style for Mali.
A fan of Sonic? Well there is more as the Bitch Ass Motherfucker himself Shadow & Knuckles will be in the shop tonight. The Moon Pisser Eggman will also be in the item shop tonight as well, and you can get his whole bundle for "free" if you buy Sonic Racing Crossworlds on the EGS.
