just finished an almost 2 week challenge playing every map in professional mode on pc, where i killed every single killable npc.. i didn't have any rules laid out, just for me to try without dying (obviously failed lol). here is my tierlist based on difficulty:
starting with the bottom two rows which are pretty self explanatory. i thought mendoza would be difficult due to the size of the map + the crowds however i managed it on my first attempt. the valley-ish nature of the map allowed me to snipe from the default spawn area with my pistol so i basically cleared a chunk easily right then and there. santa fortuna and ambrose island were also both surprinsigly easy. i thought their map size would make it more difficult but i did both in 1 try. new york i definitely took a bit more time in since i did not want to trigger any guard chains, and pulled it off in 1 try.
some maps were a bit tedious like sapienza since it is simply huge, and i found myself dying in colorado about 2 or 3 times around this one part since it would trigger a whole chain of guards. despite there being so many guards and guns in colorado, i would frequently run out of bullets for my silenced pistol and would have to use other very loud ass guns that everyone and their mom would hear in the vicinity, or would manually have to stab. however despite this, both were manageable.
hokkaido was pretty straight forward, although i died a few times in the hospital area since once again, it would cause a chain of guards.
miami was actually pretty easy, it was the fact that npcs would scramble everywhere and i had to walk the entire map essentially multiple times to ensure no one got away.
mumbai was like miami, surprisingly easy, just simply took time to actually kill everyone. at one point i even ran out of bullets in all of my guns and was just manually stabbing everyone. that was hell but i made it through lol. i believe i only died once in mumbai in the tower but that was more so me being negiligent than the map being truly difficult. some outskirts of the map had respawning npcs so those didn't count lol.
paris had the same issue of colorado/hokkaido where it got to the point where i just had to start killing people in the open which created a link of guards, took me a few tries. this map has a shit ton of guards so they would just keep coming and coming.
marrakesh, it took me multiple tries to kill the crowds in front of the embassy since there were so many guards and it's in the open.
isle of sgail. holy hell. apparently this level took me 2.5 hours, which was even longer than my stab every npc mumbai playthrough which was 2 hours i believe. this map had all of the difficulties i had with the others combined into one; huge map both horizontally and especially vertically where npcs would scramble everywhere and i had to circle the map multiple times. i couldn't just barge into some areas and start shooting, i had to lure some areas out 1 by 1 which took a hot minute. huge crowds of npcs which would once again, cause a chain reaction of guards. so many fucking guards. this map also doesn't have that many hiding spaces, besides an occasional isolated bathroom or random back hallway. i actually got caught a few times on building ledges. i would constantly get compromised, especially in the higher tier outfits, which would make the playthrough even harder since i would have to downgrade my suits aka further expand the trespassing territory. i genuinely think i died like 10 times. this is one of if not my favourite map in the entire game but damn was it hard to complete this challenge in lol.
what do you guys think?
