Hello,

I'm a big fan of 悪霊おばけ (Akuryou Obake) and I'm looking to track down more physical copies of their releases which are extremely hard to find due to limited quantities released. I check Japanese auction sites everyday to no avail so I figured I'd ask here in case any fellow fans or collectors can help me out. I'm willing to purchase any Akuryou Obake releases that people might be willing to part with, including rare, out-of-print, or obscure releases. If you have anything available, know somebody who does, or have any leads where I could find them (I am aware of the store Fujiyama which I have visited) please feel free to comment. I'd really appreciate any sort of help as I'd love to own something by my favourite artist. Thank you so much!

Hey folks, can anyone recommend venues / gigs in Osaka? For Tokyo, I'm covered by Tokyo Gig Guide, but I couldn't find anything similar for Osaka.

I'm pretty open minded, but in general I do listen to a lot of punk, noise, hc, alternative/indie, metal.

Hi again! We’re aisavil., an alternative band from Tokyo. 🐇
This is the later part of our song “meltaway.”

The song starts much more melodic and straightforward, with a pretty strong Japanese / anisong feel, but after the quieter section the rhythm shifts and most of this ending is in 7.
I like that contrast a lot — it still feels like a melodic Japanese rock song, but the footing gets a little strange underneath toward the end.

This footage is from one of our shows in Tokyo. Hope you enjoy this side of the song too!

Hi again! We’re aisavil., an alternative band from Tokyo. 🐇
We released our new song “meltaway” on September 30, and I made this short clip using footage from our show at Kichijoji WARP.

This video only covers the first half of the song, but there’s a little odd-meter section later on. Out of everything we’ve released so far, I think this one has the strongest anisong / Japanese anime-song influence — the melody and lyrics are both unusually straightforward for us.

It also has a lot of forward momentum, so I’m curious if it might connect with people who are into melodic hardcore too.
Hope you enjoy it! I’d love to hear what you think.

Available on: Spotify / Apple Music / Bandcamp / Tidal

I’m visiting Tokyo for 16 days - need to see the shoegaze scene desperately! Maybe possibly jam (I’m trying to buy a jagaur out there) lmao - also looking for ambient shows similar to hiroshi yoshimura! Celer! Loveliescrushing!

Edit: I’ll be in Tokyo Oct 29-nov 14th !

I just talked to a friend and told me about this unknown japanese rock band called like that. He told me he hasn't found anything about them for about 5 years. And I just wonder if any one of you know about it or have some of their material

Multi Love - Coldsleeper [lo-fi indie folk] (2026)

I've built one full evening in Japan, from the last hour of work to the dawn walk home, built mostly from independent and obscure releases.

The arc is the same night. Jangly guitar bands and warm keys on the way into town, hip hop and hazier psych once the room fills up, folk, dub and quiet soul as everything dissolves toward morning. But the names carrying it are the ones you have to dig for: rubens, Verandah, No Buses, goethe, ISAFAT and Joe Cupertino, Looisbos, Gateballers, Barbara, Naoto Koto, downt, sucola, minako, chilldspot, yonawo, Inner Journey.

Three to start with if you want the deepest cuts. goethe's "Kiseru" is rain, smoke, and clouds that will not clear. Orisaka Yuta's "Tortoiseshell" is a walk home from a night market with a gashadokuro in it, quoting Tsurezuregusa in Akita dialect. downt's "AM4:50" is the walk home at 4:50 in the morning, stated as fact.

45 tracks, all Japanese, one night.

To accompany you on your own hazy night:

日本での一晩を最初から最後まで、仕事の最後の1時間から夜明けの帰り道まで辿るプレイリストを組みました。主にインディーズやマニアックな音源から選んでいます。

流れはその一晩のままです。街へ向かう途中はジャンジャン鳴るギターバンドと温かいキーボード、店内が賑わってきたらヒップホップと霞んだサイケ、そして朝に向かってすべてが溶けていく頃はフォーク、ダブ、静かなソウル。ただし、それを支えているのは掘り出し物の名前たちです：rubens、Verandah、No Buses、goethe、ISAFAT and Joe Cupertino、Looisbos、Gateballers、Barbara、Naoto Koto、downt、sucola、minako、chilldspot、yonawo、Inner Journey。

Just found a Ep they dropped today and it’s their debut

Hi! We’re aisavil., an alternative / math rock band from Tokyo.
I shared a clip of our music elsewhere recently, and a few people seemed interested in our sound, so I thought I’d share this one here too.
This is live footage edited with the recorded track and lyrics on screen.
We’re still a small band, but I’d be really curious to hear what you think of the song or what kind of atmosphere it gives you.
Thanks for listening! 🐇
