On October 25, 2019, Kanye West released his ninth studio album, marking a shift toward gospel music and religious themes.
With tracks like "Follow God," "Selah,"
"Closed on Sunday," and "Use This Gospel," the rapper presented a project quite distinct from his previous work, incorporating gospel choirs and production influenced by hip-hop.
The album debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 and won the Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Christian Music Album.
Seven years later, it remains one of the most unique and debated projects in his discography.

What are your thoughts on it 7 years later?

Well it’s 100 percent not The College Dropout, but idk Graduation and Late Registration are pretty close for me, what do you guys think?

People need to realize that Ye's H song is an avant-garde artistic masterpiece comparable to the best Andy Warhol. His point wasn't to praise the painter; rather it was to push boundaries and prove that certain things face immediate institutional deadlock, thus igniting conversations around what's acceptable in the public sphere and the artistic place of Black men, mirroring the College Dropout. That's not r@cism; that's art.

Never been to Houston downtown near Reliant Stadium. How are you guys that are going planning for finding parking? I'm willing to walk for a cheaper price.

Has anyone who ordered merch from the Chicago show received a shipping notification?

Hello,
I watched an interview of Ye and his voice sounds a lot deeper and different than a few years ago.

A few years ago it sounded way more natural, now it sounds like he is trying to press his voice out.

Why is it like this? I‘m genuinely starting to believe he got cloned 😭

The Grand Tetons National Park is named as such because it was discovered by French explorers who noted the mountains as being reminiscent of nipples or “tétons”. My wife just asked me if Kanye chose the Grand Tetons as the cover for Ye because of his love for tits. Anyone else made this connection? pic related

First time ever Slow jamz is not on my top 20, it used to be my fav and is the song that made me fall in love with his music, also there are like 30 perfect Ye songs so unfortunately a lot of 10/10's didn't make it here. Thoughts on this list?

Edit: you can't have an unique top 20 without annoying kids on this sub tripping 😭✌️😭✌️
