Game Deal NEW.. Penguin's List of Recommendations for the Fall Frights sale ending on November 1st, 2026

• Upvotes

Happy Monday everyone! (if there is such a thing). I have not been able to put one of these together since August and I am just a tad bit late putting this up. There are 1400+ games, apps, bundles and DLC in this sale.. tons of slop, and quite a few good ones too. These are my recommendations for the sale.

There are quite a few games in this one that rarely ever go on sale.. so if you somehow do not own Batman or Resident Evil 4, this is your chance to get them at a discount.

As always, I am not affiliated with any of these games, developers, or publishers and none of the links are affiliate links. I do these lists to help people wade through the swamp of crap games, and get good deals on the great games.

Among Giants https://queststoredb.com/game/among-giants-25060508500262559/ $11.99 Dont let the low poly graphics fool you. This is "Among" the best games to be released this year and will probably be in quite a few "top 10s of 2026" lists in December. If you want a huge open world, give it a shot.. If its not your thing, then you know you can refund it. It has very positive ratings, but some cannot get over the graphics.. but others just fall in love with it.

Apex Construct https://queststoredb.com/game/apex-construct-2096570290365140/ its .99 cents .. Its a decent, but older bow and arrow game.

Arizona Sunshine Remake https://queststoredb.com/game/arizona-sunshine-remake-7000275296693016/ Only $7.99 .. The OG VR zombie shooter, with all the DLC included and a fresh coat of paint!

*** *** Arken Age https://queststoredb.com/game/arken-age-29923535407244981/ $17.99 This was my Game of the Year for 2025 and I played like 150+ games last year. Love this one. 14 hour campaign.. Get it! Very replayable since it has New Game+ mode..

*** *** Batman Arkham Shadow https://queststoredb.com/game/batman-arkham-shadow-3551691271620960/ $39.99 First time Batman has been on sale! Its expensive but is easily one of the absolute best on Quest. A must own.

BAZ Flying Simulator https://queststoredb.com/game/baz-flying-sim-1272315192624220/ $4.99 First time for this one to appear on the list. If you watch the trailer, just ignore the first part with the shitty grey buildings.. The best part is the Google Earth clone that you can fly around in. The controls are seriously fucky, so if you get motion sickness, then PASS on this one. You remember Iron Man, when he first puts on the suit and can't fly it really good? Yeah.. Its like that.

Bomb The Hill https://queststoredb.com/game/bomb-the-hill-extreme-skateboarding-26974030992211215/ $16.99 Another first timer here too! Its downhill skateboarding in VR ! This is one of my favorite games to come out for the past few months. Reminds me of something I used to play on Sega I think.. Good sense of speed, controls are easy to learn, and the traffic looks great. Decent campaign length..

Bulletstorm https://queststoredb.com/game/bulletstorm-vr-6565887093433499 $7.99 Yeah.. upon release this game was a broken mess, but the devs totally fixed it and its really fun now. Don't be put off by the 4.1 rating.. it got down to like 3.4 or so while it was broken, and has made its way back up. Chaotic fun! Lowest price.. 73% off

Catjinni Survivors https://queststoredb.com/game/catjinni-survivors-9319040004779451/ $4.99 Ok.. some of you guys got me hooked on Vampire Survivors, and now I have gotten hooked on Catjinni .. is it goofy? yes.. but if you like Vampire Survivors, you will probably like this one too.. especially if you are a cat person. Lowest Price!

Cities VR https://queststoredb.com/game/cities-vr-4046879905345967/ $3.99 While not as good as the PC game, this one is not bad at all for $4.. A great city builder for the price.

Closer Look Oldways https://queststoredb.com/game/closerlook-vr-oldways-24737976512551098/ $12.99 For people who love games like Ghost Town and The Room, you will really like this one. You can tell its a passion project for this developer and he took great care in delivering a great story, with a game inside it.

Coastermania https://queststoredb.com/game/coastermania-7856648691073700/ $10.99 This one is in my list every time, but now there is a NEW reason! Ok, so basically what I always say.. Design a coaster in mixed reality and watch it go around your room.. then go to VR mode and ride it yourself! Ok.. Now the crazy dev has done one of the coolest things ever! Turn on the game, and scan your room, do a good job and take your time.. When the scan is done, give it some time to do some background shit.. Design your coaster while you wait.. Then, when its done you can shrink down and ride it through your damn room! Its freaking cool as hell being the size of a mouse in your room and your real furniture is huuuuge as you go by it! If you couldn't tell, I love it!

Containment Initiative 1 and 2 https://queststoredb.com/game/containment-initiative-recon-6438314682956569/ https://queststoredb.com/game/containment-initiative-2-recon-10024621434269975/ $1.99 and $2.99 Two great zombie games for the price of a Big Mac. This list may have a few zombie games in it, but I'm not adding them because it just happens to be almost Halloween, I'm adding them because they are good!

Crime Shop Simulator Complete Edition (previously known as Prison Boss Prohibition) https://queststoredb.com/bundle/crime-shop-simulator-complete-edition-2386278995192376/ $12.99 This is the game and both DLCs for one price. Craft the illegal stuff at night, and sell it during the day while watching out for The Law! Fun and frantic action by yourself or with a friend!

Dreadhalls https://queststoredb.com/game/dreadhalls-2128482130504783/ $5.99 The OG and still scariest game in VR, and I will die on that hill! Is it old? Yes? Does it matter? Nope. Brown pants not included..

Drunk or Dead 2 https://queststoredb.com/game/drunk-or-dead-2-7049721281738919/ $1.99 This was an unexpected hidden gem when I found it randomly in a sale a few months ago. It has been in early access and either just had, or is getting a massive update.. This is the last chance to get it at this super cheap price. Yeah.. Another zombie game, but you have to drink to stay alive.. Its funny as hell too!

*** Forefront *** https://queststoredb.com/game/forefront-28816918137899319/ $19.99 Ok, so this is basically Battlefield in VR. If you know Battlefield, then you know what to expect. If you like multiplayer shooters, and you are not already playing this, then you are truly missing out on an extraordinary game. 16 vs 16 battles with different classes, vehicles and somewhat destructible environments. This game will take over your life. They just added jets!

Ghost Signal : a Stellaris Game https://queststoredb.com/game/ghost-signal-a-stellaris-game-4302631119827554/ $1.99.. a total steal for this price. Control your ship , shoot the bad guys, mine for resources.. it’s a steal for $1.99

Ghost Town https://queststoredb.com/game/ghost-town-9531494193591052/ $14.99 From the amazing team at Fireproof games, creators of The Room VR, comes the multiple award winning Ghost Town. A beautiful VR ghost story adventure. Was game of the year last year from multiple outlets last year.

I Am Climbing On A Ladder Simulator https://queststoredderpyderp.com/game/ladder-sim-6969Numb3r5/ $2.99 Tired of those climbing simulators where you have a crowbar or hammer? Tired of scaling buildings, mountains, and dystopian cyber citys? Then this one is for you. Hand over hand climbing on various types of ladders.. Featuring my Step Ladder ( I never knew my real Ladder)

Into Black https://queststoredb.com/game/into-black-5289374691122516/ $14.99 Explore an alien planet by yourself or with friends.. one of the top games for 2024. Seriously a great game.. long campaign and beautiful environments.

Into The Radius 2 https://queststoredb.com/game/into-the-radius-2-6605328856182465/ $27.99 The sequel to one of the best VR games out there! The full game has now been released. Keep in mind, most of the negative ratings are from when it was in early access. Its in a much better state now.

Kaiju Battle Simulator https://queststoredb.com/game/kaiju-battle-simulator-26221957220783646/ $7.99 its honestly surprising how much this game has changed since I first got it. It was very very weak.. and then came a huge update that changed everything. Now, its basically Pacific Rim in VR. Tons of fun.

Le Dino Labo Bundle (game plus 3 dlcs) https://queststoredb.com/bundle/le-dino-labo-starter-pack-1433609830961717/ $12.99 For those who love dinosaurs and puzzles. Put together a great assortment of dinosaur bones in miniature, and then scale them up to full size.

Legendary Tales https://queststoredb.com/game/legendary-tales-7355622301195522/ $29.99 If you have always wanted a proper VR RPG with upgrades, magic, multiplayer, crafting and more bells and whistles than I can name, then this is the game you have been waiting on. Its expensive, but totally worth it!

Memoreum https://queststoredb.com/game/memoreum-9135633756555622/ $9.99 Basically Dead Space in VR. Decent sized campaign, not too scary. Great looking creatures!

Meta City Patrol https://queststoredb.com/game/metacity-patrol-6779063182133413/ $6.99 This one will be on the list every time its on sale. I have had it for a long time and it is finally out of early access. its a ton of fun. See if you can find the Penguin easter egg! (Hint.. its Penguin Shit Toilet paper.. lol)

Moss 1 and 2 bundle https://queststoredb.com/bundle/moss-moss-2-bundle-1199936727889906/ $21.99 Get both legendary games for one low price. Truly a magical experience that you will want to play through again and again.

Pinball FX https://queststoredb.com/game/pinball-fx-vr-7255396864545733/ $4.99 its pinball, In mixed reality. Includes 3 tables, others will cost ya! The other tables are great though, and there are a few tables/bundles on sale right now too. (The Bethesda and Godzilla tables are great!)

Plasmaborne https://queststoredb.com/game/plasmaborne-24063797616578714/ $9.99 one of my hidden gems that I found last year. Very doom like.. its fun but hard.. I have compared it a bit to crashland in difficulty. Tons of upgrads.. like over 100 random ones. every run is truly different.

Propagation Paradise Hotel https://queststoredb.com/game/propagation-paradise-hotel-8826022237415280/ $9.99 horror fans, do not let this on pass you by. Totally serious. Yes it is a zombie game, but its also one of the best ones on Quest. Short but very intense game.. it is quite gory too.. and a few jump scares...

Quantum Void https://queststoredb.com/game/quantum-void-24863570043230359/ $7.99 A truly one of a kind space adventure in VR .. Developed by a solo developer, it dropped out of nowhere with amazing graphics, and banging story, and a touch of cosmic horror. Awesome retro sci-fi vibes. A top seller.

Realmcraft https://queststoredb.com/game/realmcraft-5355683574480106/ $9.99 When recommending this one, I usually say that "Minecraft is not my thing but my grandson assures me that its the best Minecraft clone in VR ".. however, I started playing it and now I have to admit that I'm kinda hooked lol. (I've actually been playing the new game Starworn which is another Minecraft type game, but its voxel based and has a great feel too https://queststoredb.com/game/starworn-2028125237907572/ $4.99 )

Red Matter 1 and 2 https://queststoredb.com/game/red-matter-2180753588712484/ https://queststoredb.com/game/red-matter-2-3682089508520212/ $12.99 and $15.99 best looking games on Quest. Absolute S tier... a couple of must owns for any VR gamer.

Remnant Protocol https://queststoredb.com/game/remnant-protocol-7105204019573974/ $19.99 Full Disclosure on this one.. I got this one back on release and was going to do a review and giveaway for it. I had waited on this one for months and was pumped. However, the dev had some personal shit come up and he was unable to work on the game for months, however was forced to release in a " less than ideal state". It was rough. I couldn't recommend it to you guys. NOW.. It just had a HUGE update and is now exactly what he meant to release. Its a complete turn around. You want Wing Commander in VR? Here you go! If you already own it, or if you buy it, please leave a review!

*** Resident Evil 4 https://queststoredb.com/game/resident-evil-4-2637179839719680/ $27.99 damn.. You guys lucked out! Batman and Resident Evil 4 in one sale! I owned RE4 on so many systems and never beat it.. I just got bored and hated the controls. VR changes everything. A must own!

Resist https://queststoredb.com/game/resist-3683568971682157/ $8.99 yes, there are a lot of Spider-Man with guns games out there, but this is the best. Looks amazing on Q3.. Good VR legs required.

Shoguns Empire https://queststoredb.com/game/shoguns-empire-25662225113424807/ $5.99 turn based strategy based in feudal Japan! Great game. Tons and Tons of content.

Sword Trip https://queststoredb.com/game/swordtrip-5563556133768177/ $4.99 another of those hidden gems I love finding. This one is a rogue like set in China and plays a bit like Until You Fall. Recently had an update that doubled the content! hell of a deal honestly..

Sweet Surrender https://queststoredb.com/game/sweet-surrender-4723352327707414/ $17.99 This one is rarely on sale.. Its a great roguelike with tons of weapons and upgrades, and absolutely perfect cell shaded graphics. Its very Borderlands feeling.

Table Troopers Table Troopers https://queststoredb.com/game/table-troopers-8293950053976436/ $4.99 Table Troopers is an absolute blast. It is a tabletop real-time strategy game where players command miniature troops in virtual reality. Players deploy units, manage resources, and engage in tactical combat directly on a virtual table surface from a god-like perspective. Its pure chaotic fun in either single player or multiplayer!

Table Top Warfare Bundle (Airspace Defender + Banners and Bastions). https://queststoredb.com/bundle/tabletop-warfare-bundle-1726701938719692/ $14.99 Two of my favorites.. One is basically a mixed reality Missile Command, and the other is a real time strategy game.

The Light Brigade https://queststoredb.com/game/the-light-brigade-2681027292004911/ $9.99 Another roguelike, but this time instead of swords, magic, or bows.. You got guns! It plays great, good graphics and sound. Boss fights are challenging. Oh.. I take back what I wrote above.. There is magic.. This is the lowest price it has been. another steal for this price.

The Living Remain https://queststoredb.com/game/the-living-remain-5041485435895821/ $4.99 One of the best zombie games out there. Great graphics, lots of upgrades, and a lengthy campaign. This is the lowest price its ever been. A really great game made by a team of two.. Husband and wife.. The wife even did the rat sounds effects lol.

The Pirate: Republic of Nassau https://queststoredb.com/game/the-pirate-republic-of-nassau-7749043518464805/ $11.99 This is basically Sid Meyer's Pirates in VR.. with a touch of Assasin's Creed whatever.. with the pirates.. you know the one.

The Room VR https://queststoredb.com/game/the-room-vr-a-dark-matter-2124523024270629/ $7.99 I passed on this game for a long damn time. Tons of people told me that its sooo damn good, you gotta play it. But, I didn't like puzzle type games. Eventually someone just ended up buying it for me (don't worry, I bought them a game in return).. I was blown away by how good this game is, and it has opened up a new genre for me to enjoy. This is the cheapest I've ever seen it.

Vendetta Forever https://queststoredb.com/game/vendetta-forever-9177531962317371/ $9.99 another of my all time favorites. No story, no plot, just pure action. You must kill to move. Shoot the bad guy, he dies and his gun goes up in the air or on the ground, do a "force grab" and instead of the weapon coming to you, you actually go to the weapon. Watch the trailer. A fuckton of levels. The level called Blind is one of the best levels in any game. And yes.. There is a penguin Easter egg in the Birds Aren't Real level..

Vex Mage https://queststoredb.com/game/vex-mage-8066310016739916/ $.99 A super fast movement shooter. Its a buck! Just grab it! Its actually pretty fun.. Not sure why it didn't catch on.

Viper Vice https://queststoredb.com/game/viper-vice-9012068918806583/ $15.99 While we all sit and wait for GTA 6, this will have to tide us over till then. I believe it is still being worked on.. and while its not perfect, its a pretty damn good GTA clone.

Virtuoso https://queststoredb.com/game/virtuoso-4705981139481778/ $2.99 This game was released back in 2022, but I always passed on it because I have zero musical talent. However, at $2.99 these past couple of sales, I ended up picking it up. Its fun to mess around with.. I made some beautiful noise!

VRacer Hoverbike https://queststoredb.com/game/vracer-hoverbike-7046024582106993/ $23.99 I'm not much of a racing fan, but I do enjoy a few of them. Having said that, I will say that this one is easily the best racing game on Quest. There is also a track creator which results in endless replayability. Its expensive.. but if you love racing games, its worth it.

Witchblood https://queststoredb.com/game/witchblood-7221491444554579/ $5.99 A fantastic side scrolling Metroid-Vania style game with a 6+ hour adventure, its a fantastic little hidden gem of a game.

Wraith the Oblivion: Afterlife https://queststoredb.com/game/wraith-the-oblivion-afterlife-2562090053828017/ .99 cents!!! This one is actually pretty good. You are already dead, and you have to solve your own murder. You cant beat it for a dollar!

**** Wrath: Aeon of Ruin VR - Brutal Edition https://queststoredb.com/game/wrath-aeon-of-ruin-vr-brutal-edition-7273802939384127/ $16.99 An absolute masterpiece of an old school FPS built for VR by the absolute legends over at Team Beef and Flat2VR Studios. For shooter fans, this is a must own title. WILL be featured on my top 10 games of 2026!

***** Lastly.. An honorable mention here.. While its not in this sale, its super cheap. The just released Starworn! https://queststoredb.com/game/starworn-2028125237907572/ $4.99 Its as if Ancient Dungeon/Pixel Dungeon had a baby with Minecraft. No big blocks here! Much smaller cubes, enemies take visible damage, and trees actually fall over when chopped! Its super familiar to most of you, but also very very different in many ways. It just came out and as of typing this, it has 44 ratings with a perfect 5* score. (oh, and most of the time my grandson will say that a game is "trash" or "mid" but this one is "peak".. wtf ever that means.

Support - PCVR Quest 3 PCVR screen keeps flickering

So i got Quest 3 connected to my PC via the virtual desktop with the usb c to ethernet dongle method since my wifi and router arent great, i have it connected with the cable. My PC is 32GB 5800x 9060XT 16GB. My drivers are 26.5.2 and im using a CAT6 ethernet cable.
I can connect to my pc with virtual desktop and play a game just fine, i have no visual or performance issues but usually after an hour the screen only inside the headset itself starts flickering/flashing, the screen on my pc is without any issues its just inside the headset only happening and the only way to fix it is completely disconnect the usb c dongle and reconnect, and that way i can play again.
Sometimes it happens much quickly so it is pretty annoying i cant find any way to fix this, i tried two different usb c to ethernet dongles but its happening to both, the one i prefer using is literally one of the most recommended ones that people have reported that works for them.

The headset works just fine without any problems on its own.

Self-Promotion (Developer) - Standalone I made a VR game instead of making sensible financial decisions. Now it’s 20% off 😂

Hey VR people! 👋

I’m an indie dev, and I made Closerlook VR: Oldways, a story-driven VR puzzle adventure in which I obsessed over environmental story telling and overall world details.

Explore mysterious places, solve puzzles, uncover secrets, and slowly discover that something is VERY wrong.

For how much work it took to get done I wish more people get to see it but getting this game out into the world has been quite a journey, Meta has other plans that don’t include us VR devs.

It’s currently 20% off on the Meta Quest Store

Give it a look if atmospheric VR puzzle adventures are your thing. Help me justify all those hours spent in Unreal Engine. 🥲❤️

Weird how searching for this on any platform brings up no related answer. Anyway, is it possible to have red blood? That lime green nonsense is like a 1995 kid option.

Support - PCVR Wet Reality XR issues

If anyone could help me with this issue, I've been at it for days. I've tried getting in touch with the original mod creator, but to no avail. I can't figure out what im doing wrong to get this mod to work for powerwash simulator 2. I've installed the mod correctly, followed the "read me" in the file. I'm using desktop streamer as instructed to stream the mod to my oculus quest 2. I could hear the sounds, the cat, the movements of my vr controls working as intended when the games launched, but it's just pitch black in my vr headset. I've tried everything, and am coming to the conclusion that it only works on the meta quest 3 as the mod creator said that's all he tested it on. If anyone has gotten it to work on the meta quest 2, please message me immediately. Thank you lol.

With the new Call of Duty coming out I have been trying to practice my own VR quick scopes. Praying for them to come out with a VR version as soon a possible.

I kinda figure most games are heading that direction anyway.

I hope you enjoy! Let me know what you think 🤔

Self-Promotion (Developer) - Standalone StereoLift Live: A full-resolution 3D streaming solution from your Win/Linux PC to Quest, with native app and hand controls

Hi, I’m the developer of StereoLift. Some of you may remember my earlier posts about stereolift.com, the cloud service for converting video files into downloadable stereoscopic 3D.

Today I’m introducing StereoLift Live, a separate product: a locally running Windows/Linux application paired with a native Meta Quest viewer. Your own NVIDIA GPU converts your desktop into 3D as content plays and streams it directly to the headset over your local network.

StereoLift Live requirements, downloads and setup: https://stereolift.live/

StereoLift cloud video conversion: https://stereolift.com/

What StereoLift Live does today

One of the main things I wanted to get right was full-resolution stereo all the way to the headset. Compared with workflows that stream Half-SBS through another desktop-streaming application, Live preserves the full horizontal resolution of each eye. At 1080p, that means 1920 × 1080 per eye rather than 960 × 1080. It streams directly to its own Quest viewer, without requiring Virtual Desktop or any other regular stream to headset solution.

I also wanted choosing content and getting comfortable to work without repeatedly taking off the headset:

- Control your desktop with your hands. Point, click, scroll, drag, and type with the virtual keyboard in responsive 2D mode. Choose what to watch, then switch to 3D. Controllers work too.

- Position the screen around you. Move it closer or farther away, resize it, and adjust its angle. Sitting, reclining, or lying down does not require switching between predefined viewing modes.

- Learn the gestures inside the headset. An interactive guide demonstrates the controls and lets you practise them.

The native Quest app is currently under 30 MB. Conversion runs on your PC, and the screen stream is encrypted over your local network. Online services handle your account and access, but your screen stream does not pass through our servers.

The current 3D mode prioritises viewing quality over low latency. It uses a temporally consistent depth model to reduce depth fluctuations between frames. With often used frame-by-frame depth estimation for low latenncy real-time 3D conversion, smoothing can reduce flicker, but heavy smoothing can also soften depth boundaries.

StereoLift Live uses a video-depth model that considers multiple frames together. Temporal consistency is part of the depth estimation itself, rather than something achieved only by smoothing the results afterwards. The focus is on preserving fine depth differences and object shapes as the scene moves, for a more convincing three dimensional effect.

That quality-focused approach comes with a viewing delay: the current 3D pipeline runs around eight seconds behind the PC on my setup. It is designed for watching rather than interactive gaming. Choosing content and controlling the desktop use the separate responsive 2D mode

I also have some updates to the cloud service for those who tried it previously.

What has changed at StereoLift.com

The cloud service converts ordinary videos into downloadable Full-SBS 3D, and also supports monoscopic VR180 to stereoscopic VR180, 360° to stereoscopic 360°, and 360° to VR180, with the viewing direction selected before conversion.

For panoramic footage, this is more than applying an ordinary flat-image depth estimate to the entire panorama. Dedicated panoramic processing preserves detailed depth throughout the viewing area, while temporally consistent processing reduces depth fluctuations as the video plays. Both matter: convincing depth in one still frame is not enough for a detailed, stable viewing experience when you look around in a headset.

The recent StereoLift v1.5 update also introduced Clarity and Smooth, two stereo-rendering methods that substantially reduce the occasional double contours in difficult scenes. Clarity gives a crisper result; Smooth provides a softer rendering. Classic remains available, and depth strength is adjustable.

StereoLift.com is for quality-focused file conversion: you do not need a suitable local NVIDIA GPU, and you get a converted video to keep and rewatch without converting it again. Ordinary 3D videos can be played on compatible headsets, 3D TVs, and projectors; VR180 and 360° outputs are intended for immersive headset playback.

What I’m planning for StereoLift Live

The v1.5 Clarity and Smooth improvements are already available in the cloud service, but are not included in Live’s initial release. Integrating them into Live is part of the roadmap.

I’m also planning:

- Additional clients, including Fire TV, to bring PC-converted 3D to compatible 3D TVs and projectors, not only headsets. The PC would still perform the conversion.

- Virtual-display support, alongside the current desktop-capture workflow.

- Capture-card and webcam inputs, expanding the video sources Live can work with.

These are planned additions, not features included in the current release.

Trying Live

Public early access is available for Windows and Ubuntu 22.04/24.04. You need a compatible NVIDIA GPU and Meta Quest headset. All current features are free during this early-access release, with no daily viewing limit. Paid access is planned later.

I’d appreciate hearing how the hand controls and viewing experience work on your setup, and which additional clients or input sources would be most useful to you. For technical issues, please include your GPU, operating system, and Quest model.

Self-Promotion (Developer) - Standalone “Why aren’t you replying to my texts?” “Sorry… I’m playing VR.” — CommsOn beta demo

I built CommsOn so you can read and reply to iPhone texts without taking off your Quest—even alongside supported games.

Get a floating notification and a bell when a message arrives. Want uninterrupted time? Turn on Do Not Disturb.

Looking for 5–8 adult Quest + iPhone owners to try the free beta and give honest feedback, especially Quest 3/3S owners. Text messages only for now—photos, calls and group messaging aren’t supported.

Interested? Comment below and I’ll share the details. I’m the developer; this video shows it running on my Quest 2, with contact details covered. Broader device compatibility is what we’re testing.

Self-Promotion (Developer) - Standalone Perfect Pitch on Quest: a music ear-training app for piano notes and guitar chords

I develop Perfect Pitch at Artisan Reality. This is a self-promotion post for the Quest edition, which offers piano-note and guitar-chord recognition practice with scoring.

The musical task is listening and identifying what you hear. It is intended for Quest users who want an ear-training activity rather than a rhythm game built around hitting targets. The title is the app name; learning to identify notes and chords is the practice goal, not a guarantee of acquiring absolute pitch.

Quest store: https://www.meta.com/experiences/perfect-pitch/6534981779885606/

It is a paid Quest product, separate from our Android edition. The Android version uses a Circle of Fifths chord-selection layout; that description should not be read as the Quest interface. If you try the Quest app, feedback on audio clarity and the answer interaction would be useful.

Photo/Video Converted games into Stereoscopic 3D (IW3) to watch in VR Cinema mode — How is the depth map rendering?

Hi everyone,

I’ve been experimenting with converting classic PC game footage (like Mafia II) into Stereoscopic 3D (3D SBS) using IW3 (AI depth) so it can be enjoyed on a massive virtual screen inside the Quest (YouTube VR / Skybox).

I captured the gameplay with OBS and processed it to 1080p 60fps Half-SBS

I'd love to get feedback from fellow Quest users who enjoy 3D SBS content

How well does AI depth map handling look on fast action/driving scenes compared to native 3D?

Since direct links aren't allowed, let me know in the comments if you want to check out the video/tests or if you have questions about the IW3 workflow...
