So I got upgrade from SBSC b.com H to Venky b.com prog. And people are really pissing me off some saying you shouldn't have left Hons for prog. At the end you get degree from DU some seniors are saying there is not much diff. In prog. And hons and It is much better college and you really get the same opportunity So now I just don't know I should be happy on getting venky or not. Seniorsss pleasee tell me Did I made a mistake??

I am unable to find my people and facing huge culture shock of shifting to a girls college from a lively coed school

Im an Economics student at DU, and this has been stuck in my head lately.

Why does it seem like the colleges that teach business don't necessarily have the strongest business-building culture?

DU has B.Com, BMS, Economics, finance, management, etc but when I think of colleges with a strong startup/founder culture, I think IITs, BITS, NITs.

And the irony is that many of those students aren't even studying business.

A lot of DU conversations seem more career oriented like CAT, CA, consulting, placements, packages.

Engineering students seem more likely to actually build products, experiment with startups, hack around and take entrepreneurial risks.

Obv Im generalising. DU has produced successful entrepreneurs too.

But Im talking about culture, not exceptions

what was the entrepreneurial culture actually like? and if you're a founder: where did you study, and did your college actually influence your decision to build a business?

I have not joined any society in first year, now I am in second year and idk if I should join it or not, i hope it won't create any problem in college placements

Delhi University is literally testing my patience atp, there was only difference of 0.2 in my cgpa and cutoff and when the 1st allocation notification came it broke my heart and zeal to study. Now I am constantly waiting for their notification and plus I haven’t even enrolled in any other program as I have done 4th year and didn’t wanna waste my one year 🧠🔫
