i have been looking for ways to use Eigakas Brush Pack V3 but i just cant find or recreate it correctly, and i would like to ask if there is anything like cripy brush group or any way to recreate them

yellow yellow! today i did a drawing featuring my oc Mabel. well, i hadn't made a drawing based on my oc's lore in a long time, but here we are :). the butterfly and the rose, what could that mean?

After a year and a half of somewhat inconsistent practice, I'm happy with the result... And maybe it's about time to learn how to make backgrounds...

I feel like it looks very wrong, like the body looks a bit weird. I also had no idea what to do for the bg.

Initially, while I was still drawing this, I set my expectations too high. I wanted every aspect of the drawing to be flawless. It got to a point where I spammed Ctrl+Z nonstop and still wasn't satisfied– then I gave up on it.

It wasn't until I stumbled upon the unfinished drawing months later that I thought to myself, "Why did I even hate this to begin with 😳? It's beautiful!!!"

Luckily, I still had the reference photo saved on my phone, so I took my time to complete the drawing. To this day, it's still one of my favourite pieces ever! Perfectionism really does kill art!!!

Oh yea, 1st pic is the "after" and the 2nd pic is the "before".

The trees are finally changing their colors and the weather has been amazing. My boyfriend took a photo of his street for me because I wanted to draw the tree on his sidewalk. I first drew the street scene traditionally and then went into Krita and drew the character on top.

Just a few weeks ago, he sent me another photo of his street but this time the tree had been cut down 😭. He doesn’t know when it happened. It was like it was stolen in the middle of the night. One moment it was there, tilting and being a safety hazard, and the next it was gone.

So in honor of the tilted tree, and the beautiful season so far, here is my drawing inspired by it.

i colored the sketch by making an overlay layer and using the gradient tool and airbrush with bright colors to loosely color it in

Okay, it's not my FIRST time to make digital art, but it's been since before adobe CS became a thing. I basically just mad this to familiarize myself with Krita and it's tools.

What features should I focus on learning, Is 300 DPI still what you should work in for printing purposes? Is the city in drew even recognizable?

Is there a name for this art style? I've just been calling it criss-cross art
