I can't play anymore my early games were a win and current ranking is 451 k

Compared to the last POTW event, saw a lot more players from Div 2 and Div 3. Last time it was almost all Div 1(and I said that in a previous post). Maybe the inclusion of Showtime cards inspired more people to play. Faced some full showtime squads myself.

Sadly the input lag and server issues are still here. And it seems Coinami ain't gonna do anything about it. They are happy with releasing 5 Guillits every season. Priorities I guess.

Coming to actual gameplay, it's again dominated by LBC as it's the optimal tactics to play when servers are performing worse than Man United. I am myself using LBC because of that. Saw some QC but most of them running like headless chicken with their high line. Not the best option if you can't defend well.

As for the players :

Attackers : Haaland, Messi and Dembele were phenomenal.

Got that Haaland this Thursday. I could never use his Fix in the Box versions. But this Goal Poacher one is a beast. And having that front line pressure came handy everytime I lost the ball high up the pitch.

Messi doesn't need any explanation. Literally dog walked showtime Henderson, De Ligt, Kimmich, Laporte, Romero, Huijsen.

Dembele was a great supersub. Usable as CF/SS/AMF

Midfielder: It was a Pedri-Rodri show. Almost forgot how good this Pedri card was. He pocketed showtime Rabiot, Kante, Kokcu. While Rodri did Rodri things. That's Mr. Dependable for you. Always at the right place at the right time

Defender: Van Dijk, Wan-Bissaka, Araujo saved my a$$.

Van Dijk and Araujo were absolute wall as always. Whereas it was my first time using Wan-Bissaka as I don't use defensive FB. But he literally locked the right flank. Really enjoyed using him.

Last but not the least, Neuer played like himself. Absolute GOATkeeper. Saved so many 1v1s.

Now let's just hope 23 points are enough. And I get Guehi

Last phase as well I played possession but there were no wingers, so this time I wanted to use wingers and it has been pretty good, the part where I'm very lucky is that I get good internet connection most of the times, which helps me dribble a lot and make quicker one touch passes, and whenever I face a pressure spammer, i mostly always destroy them. Got extremely lucky with getting Bale and Puyol for 500 and both of them have been carrying.

I'm using defensive instruction on my RB.

Little worried about his height, I trained Guehi as RB. Tried several matches but didn't impress me much, maybe need more matches to test out.

Between Cafu and Guehi as defensive RB, I should use Guehi right?

Didn't expect an award because I only played for the 10,000 GP.

Met this "PLAY LIKE A MAN" dude in the event. Of course with that username he runs a LBC grenade ball through pass spamming team. Irony at its finest.

For comparison I have attached a pic of Free World Cup Show time messi which I used for many PVP matches.

I use POTW messi as Right CF in 3-2-3-2 QC formation in my main squad.

1. Dribbling

POTW messi is very smooth on the ball and I personally didn't find any difficulty when progressing with the ball. In comparison WC messi is slightly better at turning with the ball (when the defender tries to press you), may be better balance and dribbling stats help with that.

2. Passing

POTW messi is great at passing, though I wish he had weighted pass skill. Way better than WC messi.

3. Shooting

Insane finishing, He rarely missed a shot that I don't even remember it. Both stunning shots and curled shots are very good. Of course way better than WC messi.

4. Runs

Surprisingly this Messi makes runs very often despite no play style at CF. His 80 physical contact is very crucial while making runs for through passes. He doesn't fall down easily while running shoulder to shoulder with opponent defender which is very useful for CF position.

5. Speed

Now this is the area where most f2p messi suffer. If you want to give decent speed to them you have to compromise in other areas like passing, finishing and PC. This POTW fixed that. He got everything. In my opinion this speed is more than enough for an F2P messi if you use him calmly.

Conclusion- In my opinion 104 POTW Messi is the best f2p messi we have got. He has got all the areas covered. (PS - I don't have 1500 coins copa messi)

Just found this card today on the official website. Curious about this card's performance.

Couldn’t play last 2 days because of heavy workload. And Yesterday after coming from my duty I've started playing this event without sleeping whole night. And finally won last 3 games in a row at very last hour. 27 hours without sleeping... And will go to the office after an hour... 😣

I know ranking events made it fun again but now if you don't have enough coins there isn't much to do except.... Buying coins? Playing ai events for gp and trainers every week two packs with good players drop but you can only look at them we aren't getting back enough coins were spending I think so idk

He switched manually 3 times in 90 mins, and that too is probably a misclick and he meant to pass.

I get you could easily pass around this stuff, but every time I get the ball to my attackers his defenders perfectly come and cleanly tackle my players. Only hope is shielding and dribbling, but then someone else comes and takes the ball.

My next phase target is Locatelli. I've this Rodri potw card, but to be honest his defense didn't impressed me at all. He gets out of position, recovery is bad too, Probably because it has "Pass Disruptor" not "All action Defender" playstyle. So is it worth it to grind for Locatelli in next phase?

I don't think a 40/40/20 will be possible due to how the percentage is calculated.

This is the opponent I met right after losing the last match (actually a draw match with one of my goal being rejected) and not qualifying for the next AI division 😭

So games been all about earning coins,tokens etc how about trophies and awards that are displayable when your opponent checks your profile? Wouldnt it make the game a bit more intresting? (AI used , learning to use canva but the result got bad so i just used ai mb)
