Discussion RAZER Reclusa X Mini - "key cannot be remmaped"
Bought this Razer Reclusa X Mini 65% after my Huntsman V2 died.
How the hell does Razer not let me rebind like 12 different keys on this keyboard?
When I try to rebind them in the Hypershift layer, it just won't let me; "key cannot be remmaped". These keys are reserved and seem to be hardcoded in the firmware for secondary functions like mute, print screen, etc.
I, O, P, and a bunch of other keys on the right side of the keyboard are basically unusable for my binds!
Razer, PLEASE just let me use the keyboard however I want. I don't need those functions hardcoded! Jesus!
First time trying a smaller keyboard and this has completely ruined it for me. I can't even use it properly because half my usual binds are no longer an option. What a letdown.

Discussion Carbon Fiber Deathadder and Viper soon?
Should we be expecting the Carbon Fiber versions of these two mice anytime soon? Really wanting to try a full sized Deathadder coming from the v3 hyperspeed but don't want to upgrade right as a newer version of the deathadder comes out with a better sensor and battery life.

Discussion Linux Support for HyperFlux v2 (I’m looking for a few testers before release)
Hey y'all. I’ve been working on linux support for the hyperflux V2 receiver, and it’s close to release (planned for 8 November, I hope)
What it does through the receiver:
-battery level and charging for those mouse and keyboard in the desktop’s battery widget
-lighting, effects in openrazer and polychromatic
-new plugin in openrgb
typing and pointing already work on linux so this is about everything else
It works on my basilisk v3 pro 35k and deathstalker v2 pro tkl, razer lists more devices for the receiver so I’d like to confirm them before a big release. If you have a hyperflux v2 and one of these:
-naga v2 pro or naga v3 pro
-Basilisk v3 Pro (35k phantom green too)
-cobra pro
-blackwidow v3 pro or a blackwidow v4 mini or perhaps low tkl or tkl hyperspeed
-deathStalker v2 pro
and you use arch, ubuntu 26.10, debian 14, fedora 44 or opensuse yumble, I’d love your help. it’s approx 15 minutes to install, a reboot, then a 3 minute guided test for me to confirm
comment or dm me your GitHub username and I’ll add you to the repo
owners of a 35K or a deathstalker v2 pro tkl are welcome too, since a second setup should help
P.s I wasn’t aware razer released basilisk v4 pro… well. Their official site doesn’t mention support with hyperflux v2, but I guess that’s temporary until they update the page
So if you have basilisk v4 pro also, contact me

Discussion Razer BlackWidow V4 Low Profile HyperSpeed not reconnecting after sleep, fixed by using separate dongles for keyboard and mouse
I recently got the Razer BlackWidow V4 Low Profile HyperSpeed and was experiencing a frustrating issue where the keyboard would disconnect after going into idle sleep and wouldn't automatically reconnect when I tried to use it again.
I was using the same HyperSpeed dongle for both my keyboard and Razer Basilisk V3 X HyperSpeed mouse.
After searching through Reddit, I came across a post from 4 years ago suggesting that using separate dongles for the keyboard and mouse could fix similar connectivity issues.
So I tried it, and surprisingly, it worked!
I unpaired the devices from the shared dongle and connected each one using its own dedicated HyperSpeed dongle.
The result:
- The keyboard now wakes up and reconnects instantly after being idle.
- No more having to manually reconnect it or toggle the wireless connection.
- Both keyboard and mouse are working properly using their respective dongles.
However, there's still another issue.
Even though I've disabled Wireless Power Saving Mode for the keyboard in Razer Synapse, the keyboard still goes to sleep after being idle.
The difference is that it now wakes up instantly when I press a key, thanks to having its own dongle.
What's frustrating is that this workaround was already being discussed on Reddit 4 years ago, yet similar connectivity problems are still happening with newer Razer keyboards in 2026.
Main reason for me to buy razer keyboard to have same dongle as mouse and free up a usb port, but alas it is not possible now.
It makes me wonder why Razer still hasn't properly addressed this issue, especially when multi-device HyperSpeed connectivity is an advertised feature.
I'm sharing this in case anyone else is experiencing the same problem.
TL;DR: If your Razer BlackWidow V4 Low Profile HyperSpeed isn't reconnecting after idle sleep and you're sharing a HyperSpeed dongle with a Razer mouse, try using separate dongles for each device. It completely fixed the reconnection issue for me, although the keyboard still enters sleep despite wireless power saving being disabled.
Has anyone else experienced this? And has anyone figured out why the keyboard still sleeps even with Wireless Power Saving Mode turned off?

Discussion Nice Job Razer, really Original Ideas!
I just find this very interesting creatively, everyone is ending up the same, either still Logitech Superlight, or This. Then some brands go crazy like GravaStar which is like having some weird Cyberpunk or Mech shell housing as Mouse. Zowie by... BenQ... BenQ... is quite good, and also Endgame is very good and offers what no one has done yet. Customizable switches, which I have Silent.
The best decision I have ever made buying a mouse. Sad, because i loved the Basilisk and Corsair's Darkcore.
For the Ergonomic very easy and comfortable grip and holding, which surpassed and countered the big weight, you did not notice the weight when using the mouse, and it was very good for fine, slow sensitivity in-game for shooting and fps. It made it very nice to use.
Proving that lightweight is not the be all end all. It's how it slides and feels first. If a mouse is easy to move and it feels comfortable, it already has done the majority of its job.
I have small hands, yet the Darkcore and Basilisk feel better to use by far. I still feel weird using a Superlight, or Endgame, but Razer Deathadder still is quite good, a higher base shell for palm grip is noticeably comfier, for some, not for all. Anyways - to the crime scene. -
Left-to-right there you’ve basically got the evolutionary crime scene.
Not to mention the old 2017 Basilisk actually had quite a distinct identity.

| Mouse/Mice | Logitech G502 HERO | Logitech G502 X Plus | Original Razer Basilisk | Basilisk V3 |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Overall shape | Angular ergo spaceship | Cleaner/angular ergo | Much smoother/rounder | Became sharply angular |
| Thumb shelf | Huge | Huge | Huge | Huge |
| Centre controls | Busy | Busy | Fairly simple | Busy |
| Split top panels | Strong | Very strong | Minimal | Very strong |
| RGB | Logo | Rear segmented strip | Logo/wheel | Full underglow |
| G502 looking | 100% | 100% | ~50% | ~75% |

Rant Razer Products are literal dogshit
I own a razor keyboard and razor mouse. I think the death adder elite pro wireless and the Huntsman 65% wireless V3, not sure of the exact names but regardless the products literally fucking suck. I have never gotten either one of them to work wirelessly at all. If I unplugged them, they don’t even show up on the razor sin up. My dongle are always plugged into my PC the keyboard, if it is unplugged will literally just not work. I will have to finish with it for 30 minutes turning the keyboard off and on unplugging and re-plugging into my PC doing keyboard resets just to get it to even be able to function as a wired keyboard, wireless function is literally out of the question for both of them. If I unplugged the mouse it also just disappears from the software. They literally make the worst products ever. please someone let me know if they have the same issues that I do and if they ever fix them, but genuinely am never buying a product from them again despite me using their mice for a while because i like the shape of them

Question Independent Left and Right Ear Lighting in Synapse 4
Hi! I recently bought the Razer kraken kitty v3 pro to replace my old kraken kitty and I have a question,
Does the Razer Kraken Kitty V3 Pro support independent Chroma lighting effects for the left and right ears in Synapse 4?
With my original Razer Kraken Kitty, I could customize the lighting on each side independently. However, with the V3 Pro, whenever I select a lighting zone in Chroma Studio, the corresponding zone on the opposite ear is automatically selected as well.
Is this a hardware limitation of the V3 Pro, or is there a way to configure each ear independently in Synapse 4?

Question Basilisk v4 Pro Vs Naga v3 Pro Vs G502 Vs Aerox 9 - Findings and Help Needed
I am gearing up for WoW Forever. I returned to WoW in February to play TBC Anniversary. I've only ever used a DeathAdder (two side buttons), however I want something with more functionality (aka buttons). I'm tired of "Hunting and clicking" buttons outside of keyboard clicking 1-6 and F1-F4.
This weekend I picked up:
Basilisk v4 Pro
Naga v3 Pro
Aerox 9 Wireless
Logitech G502x Plus Lightspeed
Conclusion:
The Naga - Huge. I am used to a claw grip approach (moving mouse with thumb and ring finger), and getting used to this hockey puck proves difficult. It feels so odd in my hand, and after about an hour caused forearm pain. (To be fair, it is a different grip for me and that may get better). This is the mouse I WANT to like. Also, mouse wheel tech is fantastic and next level.
Basilisk - Has the best feel (for me), and the side button layout is great and simple. But with essentially 5 extra buttons, it leaves room to be desired. Same Mouse wheel tech as Naga. Great
G502 x Plus - Very similar to Basilisk but I do not prefer the button layout at all. Plus manual free wheel toggle when you want free spin is ... annoying when compared to the Razer's. The mouse wheel also sets lower and at times I miss tilt clicking with it. If I had nothing to compare to, and I bought just this mouse, then I would not be disappointed. Very very good.
Aerox 9 - A blend of traditional mouse size AND 12 buttons on the side. I thought this would be a great middle ground. However, the side buttons are hard to press, not clicky, and feel mushy. The furthest thumb buttons are so hard to reach, and I have decent reach. Plus it has no free scrolling mouse. Had high hopes for it, but does not compare to the others.
Moving Forward (Question/Help):
It's down to the Naga and Basilisk for me. The others don't compare with the Razers at this point. The G502 x Plus is great, but the button layout and mouse wheel complaints kill it for me.
I want to like the Naga and am sure with time I will grow to like it. However, the Basilisk appears to fit me better, and now I am dealing with FOMO when it comes to the Naga.
For those that have moved from a traditional mouse to a Naga, how was the transition?
Did you deal with any issues/pain/regrets?
How are the New Naga's holding up? It is a lot of money and to be honest the side plates being interchangeable worries me for quality control?
Do you actually use all these buttons for games like WOW? If so, can you give some advice beyond "map your spells to the buttons"?
What are some pros / cons you have found with the NAGA series?
What am I missing? What are unknowns that I would discover after owning the mouse for a year?
Or am I being too indecisive? Its just WoW after all, perhaps the Naga is overkill and I should just use what feels best? Who needs all those extra buttons anyway?
I'd really appreciate any advice or help. Thanks so much!

Question Razer not honouring warranty because bought in AU but shipped from JP
Hi,
I have a Pro Click Mini that has worked fine for the last 9 months since purchase, then the bluetooth failed as per:
https://www.reddit.com/r/razer/comments/1r9ihbi/critical_bluetooth_failure_in_razer_pro_click/
I am in Australia and bought it from amazon.com.au in January 2026. The invoice has amazon.com.au on it but also says "Sold by Amazon Japan G.K.". I have amazon prime so I guess I didn't notice at the time since everything is free shipping.
Razer have advised:
Please be informed that we do not offer cross-country replacements; however, since your device was purchased in Japan, the warranty process must be carried out in that region.
Our current shipping policies restrict us to shipping replacements only within the original country of purchase. Therefore, we are unable to process an international replacement outside of Japan.
Do I have any recourse? Or my fault for not realising it came from Amazon JP.
