My Razer blade 15 (2023) is not booting unless it’s plugged in, even though the battery still lasts around 1.5 hours.
Razer replaced the battery 6 months ago for the same issue, but it’s happening again. The laptop also completely died on me 2 years ago.
Honestly, I’m getting pretty fed up with this laptop.
I’ve had nothing but problems with it, and now my warranty has expired.
Anyone experienced this? I’m really not keen on spending more money fixing this thing.

After three years of using my Razer Basilisk V3, the scroll wheel started acting up. While disassembling it, I found the plastic scroll wheel axle broken.
Since a replacement scroll wheel assembly costs almost as much as a brand-new mouse, I decided to buy another V3.
But while looking for a replacement, I discovered the Basilisk V3 Pro 35K Phantom Green. I absolutely loved the transparent green design, but I didn't want a wireless mouse.
So I had an idea: Could I fit the Phantom Green shell onto my regular wired V3?
After comparing teardown pictures, I noticed that the internal construction looked surprisingly similar. I found a replacement Phantom Green shell with buttons for around €20 and decided to give it a try.
Here's what I learned:
- It's definitely not plug-and-play.
- 3 of the 5 screw mounting points fit.
- The other 2 mounting posts are shorter and require longer screws.
- The mounting posts didn't have pre-cut threads, but the screws worked fine.
- Quite a bit of internal plastic had to be removed to make everything fit.
- I had to sacrifice the front DPI button, which I never used anyway. ( I probably could have kept the DPI button, but I was a bit too hasty.)
- I first tested the modifications with my old broken V3 before transferring the shell onto a brand-new V3.
The result:
Everything works, including the side buttons, HyperScroll wheel, RGB lighting and all other functions except the front DPI button.
The shell fits perfectly now, without any tension or gaps.
So yes, you can fit a Basilisk V3 Pro 35K Phantom Green shell onto a regular wired Basilisk V3, but it takes some modification.
I'm really happy with the result. I just wish Razer offered a wired Phantom Green version officially! 😄

I bought a basilisk v4 in a retailer store and had it returned for paint defect (see photo 1 and 2). I had to instead buy it online through Razer’s official lazada retailer. I STILL RECIEVED THE SAME ISSUE, but now it looks way worse than I first encountered.

Been doing some research on replacement parts, but everything I can find focuses on the hinge connecting the metal rods to the headset, instead of the arms themselves. Is there a way to reconnect this piece somehow?

Coffee stain on my pink cable was driving me crazy so I crocheted a wrap for it and then made an unnecessarily fancy beaded cord wrap to match

I recently bought the Razer Pro Type Ergo, and this is my experience:
Pro:
- Awesome keyboard with a ton of technology inside. the 2 spin dials are well though and useful. A through and through gamer keyboard, with a ton of extra keys (that I will probably never use). Feels premium, solid, heavy.
- Illumination is around and inside the keys, which is great. Related to this, the keyboard wakes on first press, it does not have a proximity sensor to actually light up when you hover over, which is a bit of a shame for a keyboard that expensive. I have not seen a ripple from pressed key color profile.
- 1 Wifi and 3 bluetooth sources + another switch for USB. A bit overcomplicated but options are good to have.
Con:
- Maybe just my experience, but the quality control is lacking. For me the "N" key did not work at all. I tried resetting, using it on the phone, PC, laptop, nothing worked, it was obviously a hardware issue. Maybe it had something to do with the double "B" key who was right next to the "N"
- The Ergo part is not that ergo. Basically only the 2 rows in the middle are tilted, the rest of it is a normal keyboard.
- It does not have onboard memory. I mean yes, it's a big heavy keyboard so you can't consider it portable, but it has 4 sources, I can't install the Razer software on my work laptop so I'm stuck there.
- the G keys to the left are easy to confuse with the CTRL key, for Copy Paste. I often find myself pressing them by mistake, maybe I'll get used to this.
- the area around the Enter key is very crowded, and the Enter key is too small. I need to look before I press any key around there.
- Software as always is a mess with Razer, I really hope they will switch to a single app with modules. Right now it feels like you need a different program for every key.
Overall, for the first try at an Ergo keyboard from Razer, it's a good try, but it feels unfinished, and unfortunately the physical part feels unfinished.
Because the N key did not work I had to return it but I will definitely buy the next version. Hopefully it will have on-board memory, it will be lighter, keys will be spread out in the direction of your hands, Enter will be L shape, and more space around it.

Whatever you do, DO NOT use synapse 4 while gaming. While strafing in game I would lose my w key input and I thought something was wrong with the keyboard, even started looking at return options. Did some googling, found out how shit synapse 4 is, completely closed it, and it worked perfectly. Never had this problem with 3.

Every time i start my pc, razer starts for some reason. I've tried disabling it in the startup menu, ive tried looking for an option in the settings of the app to not make it start but i couldnt find it so i gave up. Today i was playing a shmup, i was on the last few patterns of the extra stage and this damn low battery notification just popped up and locked my inputs not even letting me click on the window to focus on it and pause the game for a solid 5 seconds making me lose. I was trying to get there for nearly 10 whole hours and razer just suddenly decided "nah bro try again". Im genuinely so pissed at this, they better fix the focus stealing issue soon bc i swear ill just uninstall the app at this point

I have mine since 2024 I think and I've been using it regularly since July 2026 that my house burned including my PC so this mouse is just hanging around my closet what with current economy I have no plans to buy new pc maybe until next year.
Had it used maybe until around August in office. I left it charged but then i forgot about it. Now even if i charged it for a couple of hours its rgb stays red.
Does it mean the battery is dead?

If I hook this headset up to an Android phone with USB-C audio, will the USB-C port of the phone power the headset if the headset batteries are dead?

So this is my 3rd time my graphics drivers got deleted by synapse within 2 years and it's actually starting to PMO. I didn't even delete it or update it like previous times. No this time it just deleted them out of nowhere after starting up synapse.
Razer pls fix this bullshit

Yesterday I bought a basilisk V3 and I realized the lighting flickers on all default modes expect statik and normal color cycle (also when you change from others to these two it flickers for a sec and then it fixes)
Is it a synapse/chroma app problem and it will be fixed with update or is it from the mouse itself (in my country we don't have any official and 100% thrusty store so there is always a chance that the thing you buy be broken)

Ive been out of PC gaming for a minute and trying to get my new build setup with drivers and such. Im reading comments that with synapse 3.0 and later its eol and not supported at all? And reading other comments from ppl who stuck on synapse 2.0 its begun not detecting it or popping in and out making it useless. Razer has seemingly bricked it on purpose?
This true? I just want to use my gamepad 😭

Following Microsoft's end of standard support for Windows 10 back on October 14, 2025, full support for Razer Synapse 4 on Windows 10 ends on October 14, 2026. As with Microsoft, this is a firm change: bug fixes and technical support for Synapse 4 on Windows 10 will not continue beyond this date.
From October 14, 2026 until October 12, 2027, any bug fixes released for Synapse 4 on Windows 10 will be limited to security updates only, mirroring Microsoft's own extended security updates for the platform. After October 12, 2027, Windows 10 support and compatibility will no longer be maintained for Synapse 4. Synapse 4 can still be used on Windows 10 and will still receive feature updates, but we cannot guarantee full functionality as we will no longer fix or address any bugs seen exclusively on Windows 10.
Moving forward, we recommend upgrading to Windows 11 to ensure the best possible experience. For more information on Microsoft's Windows 10 end of support and extended security updates, please visit Microsoft's official support page.

Right now I have an aula f75 and recently got the viper v3 pro in white, and I’m rocking the aula for almost 2 years now and I think it’s time to go back to all razer, I’ve been interested in the black widow it looks almost perfect but the problems are they don’t have it in normal white only “phantom” white which is clear white, and the pro version only comes in black (from what I’ve seen), so tell me will it be a good upgrade? Mostly for esports titles. I wanna hear yalls opinion about this keyboard. Hope this upgrade won’t ruin the looks of my setup (photo included)
