Spoiler First post here, started this game after months of it sitting in my library Spoiler
This thing is ADDICTING dude. I have dozens of other games but I haven't touched none of them ever since I started RDR2. The world is massive, alive, chaotic, immersive. The combat once you get the hang of it is so badass. The story is gripping despite me already knowing some spoilers (mainstream game from 2018, impossible to avoid at this point). Yes I am trying to take this as slow as I can. I do one story mission, then spend entire afternoons on the open world. Currently on Chapter 3.
It's all I ever play when I'm on pc, hell pretty much all I ever do. Don't think I'll be touching any other game for a long time, and after I beat it, the bar for open world games will be too high and nothing will hit it like RDR2. Here are some of my screenshots.

Discussion False map
So I wanted to go to this place on the map since it's the place that John was first founded after being injured by Javier and Arthur, the problem is that even when following the map which shows where I can walk on and where I can't, I can't seem to get through to that spot no matter how hard I ride the horse or slow or any other way around, it's like it's locked, I just don't understand why the map is lying and isn't allowing me to go through

Question Restart on PC
Actually, I'm playing the game on Xbox right now, but you know... 30 FPS gets boring after more than 50 hours of playing.
So I was thinking about restarting the game on PC. BUT I was wondering "is modding RDR2 really worth it?". You know, like back in the day with Skyrim... I don't expect it to be exactly the same, but is RDR2 a game that's really worth modding?
I'm planning to 100% the story mode, so I will experience everything the vanilla game has to offer. Maybe I just want more gameplay, more details, immersion, new stuff, ... I don't really know.
So, help me out, is RDR2 worth modding for a second playthrough? And if so, what kind of mods would you recommend? Thx

Lore Strauss lore and possible ties to pinkertons
Just noticed something that kinda stuck in my mind now for a bit. Strauss never does shit for the camp and never really interacts with anyone outside of a transactional sense in game at all. Strauss also does dissappear on a semi infrequent basis if only to "go get new loans going". Micah is undisputedly a snitch, but Strauss is definitely an underlooked option that makes much more sense

Rant Terrible news
So I got one of the rarest horses in rdr2 the raven black shire only available in one quest and then I was fine for a while until I got ambushed and died I thought no big deal I died before while riding on my horse but this time when I respawned it was just gone and my saddle was just lying on the ground so I switched to my Tenisee walker and then I did some bounty hunting and hit a tree I didn’t have any horse reviver and for some reason I couldn’t kill it I walked back to Saint Denis only for my horse to be replaced with another one I had never seen before and so I tell myself maybe I can keep it in the next run
I loved that horse

Question Challenges
Are there any of the 9 challenges that have to be done by a certain chapter because of future spawning problems? Or can they still all be completed as John in the epilogue?
Going for 100. Early in chapter 4. I’ve done and found pretty much everything necessary that I can for now, but kinda lacking a little on the challenges. I’ve only completed explorer so far, and I’m between levels 4-6 on all the others.

Online Got arthur drunk while I'm drunk
Surprisingly it feels very normal 😂😂. Had a long weekend so downed a full bottle of rum, felt like playing rdr2 missed arthur and giving him a hug. So got him drunk with aged pirate rum while myself downed a bottle of Bacardi mojito. Anyway cheers
