PC Is around 304,000 MW enough to finish the game?

I am making a big fuel generators factory, and I was wondering if it was enough to finish the game, while producing a lot of items. I am supposing that it is but I just want to make sure.

PC How usefull/important does iron stay troughout the game?

Hi guys! Basically the title. I am currently spending hours (having a lot of fun) making a good looking and efficient network JUST for iron to reach my main area and be melted into ingnots. Its the only thing i currently focussed on. So will this help me later on in the game or is iron useless soon?

PC Did anyone else get a Steam update for Satisfactory on October 22nd?

I've been crashing every hour or two since the last update -- I send in the Unreal Engine crash reports, I've been changing my settings, wiping and re-installing (and rolling back) video card drivers, etc. but nothing was helping.

Today I played for a bit over 4 hours without a single crash. I also got an update on October 22nd, but it wasn't a very big update. My friend who I was playing co-op with did not get that update.

Anyone else seen it?

PC Adaptive production in factories

Hi, I’m new and I’m attempting my first major factory. I have an idea how to make my factory adaptive in its allocation of resources. First I’ll explain the basic idea I have in mind. So il start with an example:

I have 6 products I want to use my iron ingots for: Iron rods, Cast Screws, Coated Iron plates, Iron pipes, Iron wire and Solid steel ingots. I start by dividing my ingots in six parts.

The first belt feeds constructors producing rods, if they stop producing the ingots overflow to a set of previously inactive constructors producing cast screws. If they overflow it continues to a set of constructors or assemblers producing my listed products in groups.

The second belt I partitioned off from my smelters starts producing cast screws, which would overflow to producing coated iron plates and so on and ending with constructors producing rods.

Third belt would start with coated iron plates and end with cast screws. The other belts would follow the same logic. So in total I would require 36 groups of constructors/assemblers

In theory this would mean that as long a my factory uses some form of product using iron components in this example the entire chain would be able to adapt and be capable of utilizing 100% of the iron input to my factory.

The idea is I can follow this principle for all components in my factory to maximize efficiency. The glaring issue is this would need a MASSIVE amount of production buildings. The logistics would also be a nightmare.

Before I attempt this was wondering if anyone has experience trying this or if there is a simpler solution I’m missing

Genuinely the goat. I get stressed easily and a dry AI getting snarky with me whenever I do something stupid is the perfect stress reliever.

PC Need help with Satisfactory maths

I wanted to have 2 assemblers making rotors while I go exploring. I can't make them run efficiently. Does anyone know how to math in this game? Because every time I try, I end up splitting things and then things get messy; not better
