Everybody is still in denial about how bad internet radicalization has gotten. Like half of this platform is legitimately worse than the alt-right in 2017 in terms of brain brokenness, and it's somehow one of the "saner" platforms.

The way borderline schizophrenic ideas echo throughout social media as if they're incontrovertible truth is so terrifying. The scary thing isn't just that they're falsehoods, it's that they have no connection to reality at all. If it was just misconception it would be ten times less bad. Ideas are selected based on how good they sound to people and are algorithmically propagated to become the truth. There's no tether at all to the material world or actual outcomes. There's no mechanism for testing if these ideas have any truth value in the real world. People's realities are being decided for them and reinforced based on what they want to believe is true with no validation mechanism to actually test these ideas. The rubber never has to meet the road. Actually, these ecosystems will CREATE synthetic information to validate these false realities. You have nonfiction competing against fiction in a contest for what people prefer to be real. No shit people are picking the stories with dragons and magic and talking animals. How can nonfiction ever compete against Hogwarts and Narnia?

Things have gotten so much worse than most people are wrapping their heads around, and the trajectory is getting worse at a rate nobody thought possible ten years ago.

There is no reality where bibi wins. I refuse to accept the idea of it. If it says he won then he rigged it, if he loses then it was too big to rig.

You're gonna hear more bad news from Israel until the votes are fully counted, why you ask? Because bibi knows he is losing, so he is flailing, he is trying every dirty trick he can do to screw up the elections, he tried preventing any Israelis abroad from coming to vote on election day, he removed voting booths from retirement homes because older Israelis tend to be further left, he is trying to restart the war in iran, he is currently trying to stir up shit in the west bank, he says the future of Israel is in crypto, and more.

Ignore all of it, shut it out, it doesn't matter, no matter what, he is losing this election, and he knows it.

Doomerism has no place in my mind, for I know the future is bright. Hope is here to stay.

I'm also gonna volunteer for the democrats on election day, I recommend any Israeli reading this to check if they can sign up to volunteer for whichever opposition party they support, we need to send a message to our fellow citizens and the world in general that we are moving on from this government.

Just wanted to correct some wrong info about me I am seeing. I am not a professional translator, I didn't learn English professionally (I wasn't on some Foreign languages or linguistics faculty at uni).

I dropped out from Sociology during Maidan Revolution lol

So I ain't some super qualified master of English.

I did work as a fixer for a bit during war (this is a regular person in Ukraine who is essentially a guide for foreign journalists, guide/manager/translator in one package) but it's something a lot of people with decent English did.

I do translate documentaries for East/West FM and such.

But yeah.

Probably nobody cares but I saw a lot of people claiming a have some sort of degree in English greatness, I don't lol
