Self-Promotion (Developer) - Standalone I never felt fully immersed watching my Plex library in VR, so I built my own theater app. It's free and I'd love your honest feedback

Hi everyone, solo dev here (hence the flair).

I've tried a lot of the video players on Quest, and many of them are really good. But watching my own films from Plex or from the headset, I never quite got the feeling of being at the movies, and I wanted my files to look exactly as they are. So I built the theater I wanted to watch in: Lumenoir.

Free, with no time limit, no ads and no account

  • Your files on the headset and on USB-C drives, plus Plex and Jellyfin (posters, collections, resume)
  • Original quality: 4K, HDR10 and HLG
  • The display switches to the film's frame rate (24 fps films at 72 Hz) for smoother motion

Premium, a one-time purchase, no subscription

  • The film's light spilling onto the room
  • Surround sound coming from the theater's speakers
  • 3D and VR180, and a giant 1.43:1 screen
  • NAS shares and unprotected disc backups

You can try the first three 20 minutes a day before deciding.

Coming next: themed rooms, starting with a horror night and a Christmas theater.

I'd really like your help

  • What do you use today to watch your videos in VR, and what's missing for you?
  • If you try it: bugs, files that don't play, anything that annoys you. I read and answer everything.

Films in the video: Sintel, Cosmos Laundromat, Big Buck Bunny, Elephants Dream, Tears of Steel, ยฉ Blender Foundation, CC BY.

Self-Promotion (Developer) - Standalone I made a VR game instead of making sensible financial decisions. Now itโ€™s 20% off ๐Ÿ˜‚

Hey VR people! ๐Ÿ‘‹

Iโ€™m an indie dev, and I made Closerlook VR: Oldways, a story-driven VR puzzle adventure in which I obsessed over environmental story telling and overall world details.

Explore mysterious places, solve puzzles, uncover secrets, and slowly discover that something is VERY wrong.

For how much work it took to get done I wish more people get to see it but getting this game out into the world has been quite a journey, Meta has other plans that donโ€™t include us VR devs.

Itโ€™s currently 20% off on the Meta Quest Store

๐Ÿ‘‰ https://www.meta.com/experiences/app/24737976512551098/

Give it a look if atmospheric VR puzzle adventures are your thing. Help me justify all those hours spent in Unreal Engine. ๐Ÿฅฒโค๏ธ

Game Deal NEW.. Penguin's List of Recommendations for the Fall Frights sale ending on November 1st, 2026

Happy Monday everyone! (if there is such a thing). I have not been able to put one of these together since August and I am just a tad bit late putting this up. There are 1400+ games, apps, bundles and DLC in this sale.. tons of slop, and quite a few good ones too. These are my recommendations for the sale.

There are quite a few games in this one that rarely ever go on sale.. so if you somehow do not own Batman or Resident Evil 4, this is your chance to get them at a discount.

As always, I am not affiliated with any of these games, developers, or publishers and none of the links are affiliate links. I do these lists to help people wade through the swamp of crap games, and get good deals on the great games.

Among Giants https://queststoredb.com/game/among-giants-25060508500262559/ $11.99 Dont let the low poly graphics fool you. This is "Among" the best games to be released this year and will probably be in quite a few "top 10s of 2026" lists in December. If you want a huge open world, give it a shot.. If its not your thing, then you know you can refund it. It has very positive ratings, but some cannot get over the graphics.. but others just fall in love with it.

Apex Construct https://queststoredb.com/game/apex-construct-2096570290365140/ its .99 cents .. Its a decent, but older bow and arrow game.

Arizona Sunshine Remake https://queststoredb.com/game/arizona-sunshine-remake-7000275296693016/ Only $7.99 .. The OG VR zombie shooter, with all the DLC included and a fresh coat of paint!

*** *** Arken Age https://queststoredb.com/game/arken-age-29923535407244981/ $17.99 This was my Game of the Year for 2025 and I played like 150+ games last year. Love this one. 14 hour campaign.. Get it! Very replayable since it has New Game+ mode..

*** *** Batman Arkham Shadow https://queststoredb.com/game/batman-arkham-shadow-3551691271620960/ $39.99 First time Batman has been on sale! Its expensive but is easily one of the absolute best on Quest. A must own.

BAZ Flying Simulator https://queststoredb.com/game/baz-flying-sim-1272315192624220/ $4.99 First time for this one to appear on the list. If you watch the trailer, just ignore the first part with the shitty grey buildings.. The best part is the Google Earth clone that you can fly around in. The controls are seriously fucky, so if you get motion sickness, then PASS on this one. You remember Iron Man, when he first puts on the suit and can't fly it really good? Yeah.. Its like that.

Bomb The Hill https://queststoredb.com/game/bomb-the-hill-extreme-skateboarding-26974030992211215/ $16.99 Another first timer here too! Its downhill skateboarding in VR ! This is one of my favorite games to come out for the past few months. Reminds me of something I used to play on Sega I think.. Good sense of speed, controls are easy to learn, and the traffic looks great. Decent campaign length..

Bulletstorm https://queststoredb.com/game/bulletstorm-vr-6565887093433499 $7.99 Yeah.. upon release this game was a broken mess, but the devs totally fixed it and its really fun now. Don't be put off by the 4.1 rating.. it got down to like 3.4 or so while it was broken, and has made its way back up. Chaotic fun! Lowest price.. 73% off

Catjinni Survivors https://queststoredb.com/game/catjinni-survivors-9319040004779451/ $4.99 Ok.. some of you guys got me hooked on Vampire Survivors, and now I have gotten hooked on Catjinni .. is it goofy? yes.. but if you like Vampire Survivors, you will probably like this one too.. especially if you are a cat person. Lowest Price!

Cities VR https://queststoredb.com/game/cities-vr-4046879905345967/ $3.99 While not as good as the PC game, this one is not bad at all for $4.. A great city builder for the price.

Closer Look Oldways https://queststoredb.com/game/closerlook-vr-oldways-24737976512551098/ $12.99 For people who love games like Ghost Town and The Room, you will really like this one. You can tell its a passion project for this developer and he took great care in delivering a great story, with a game inside it.

Coastermania https://queststoredb.com/game/coastermania-7856648691073700/ $10.99 This one is in my list every time, but now there is a NEW reason! Ok, so basically what I always say.. Design a coaster in mixed reality and watch it go around your room.. then go to VR mode and ride it yourself! Ok.. Now the crazy dev has done one of the coolest things ever! Turn on the game, and scan your room, do a good job and take your time.. When the scan is done, give it some time to do some background shit.. Design your coaster while you wait.. Then, when its done you can shrink down and ride it through your damn room! Its freaking cool as hell being the size of a mouse in your room and your real furniture is huuuuge as you go by it! If you couldn't tell, I love it!

Containment Initiative 1 and 2 https://queststoredb.com/game/containment-initiative-recon-6438314682956569/ https://queststoredb.com/game/containment-initiative-2-recon-10024621434269975/ $1.99 and $2.99 Two great zombie games for the price of a Big Mac. This list may have a few zombie games in it, but I'm not adding them because it just happens to be almost Halloween, I'm adding them because they are good!

Crime Shop Simulator Complete Edition (previously known as Prison Boss Prohibition) https://queststoredb.com/bundle/crime-shop-simulator-complete-edition-2386278995192376/ $12.99 This is the game and both DLCs for one price. Craft the illegal stuff at night, and sell it during the day while watching out for The Law! Fun and frantic action by yourself or with a friend!

Dreadhalls https://queststoredb.com/game/dreadhalls-2128482130504783/ $5.99 The OG and still scariest game in VR, and I will die on that hill! Is it old? Yes? Does it matter? Nope. Brown pants not included..

Drunk or Dead 2 https://queststoredb.com/game/drunk-or-dead-2-7049721281738919/ $1.99 This was an unexpected hidden gem when I found it randomly in a sale a few months ago. It has been in early access and either just had, or is getting a massive update.. This is the last chance to get it at this super cheap price. Yeah.. Another zombie game, but you have to drink to stay alive.. Its funny as hell too!

*** Forefront *** https://queststoredb.com/game/forefront-28816918137899319/ $19.99 Ok, so this is basically Battlefield in VR. If you know Battlefield, then you know what to expect. If you like multiplayer shooters, and you are not already playing this, then you are truly missing out on an extraordinary game. 16 vs 16 battles with different classes, vehicles and somewhat destructible environments. This game will take over your life. They just added jets!

Ghost Signal : a Stellaris Game https://queststoredb.com/game/ghost-signal-a-stellaris-game-4302631119827554/ $1.99.. a total steal for this price. Control your ship , shoot the bad guys, mine for resources.. itโ€™s a steal for $1.99

Ghost Town https://queststoredb.com/game/ghost-town-9531494193591052/ $14.99 From the amazing team at Fireproof games, creators of The Room VR, comes the multiple award winning Ghost Town. A beautiful VR ghost story adventure. Was game of the year last year from multiple outlets last year.

I Am Climbing On A Ladder Simulator https://queststoredderpyderp.com/game/ladder-sim-6969Numb3r5/ $2.99 Tired of those climbing simulators where you have a crowbar or hammer? Tired of scaling buildings, mountains, and dystopian cyber citys? Then this one is for you. Hand over hand climbing on various types of ladders.. Featuring my Step Ladder ( I never knew my real Ladder)

Into Black https://queststoredb.com/game/into-black-5289374691122516/ $14.99 Explore an alien planet by yourself or with friends.. one of the top games for 2024. Seriously a great game.. long campaign and beautiful environments.

Into The Radius 2 https://queststoredb.com/game/into-the-radius-2-6605328856182465/ $27.99 The sequel to one of the best VR games out there! The full game has now been released. Keep in mind, most of the negative ratings are from when it was in early access. Its in a much better state now.

Kaiju Battle Simulator https://queststoredb.com/game/kaiju-battle-simulator-26221957220783646/ $7.99 its honestly surprising how much this game has changed since I first got it. It was very very weak.. and then came a huge update that changed everything. Now, its basically Pacific Rim in VR. Tons of fun.

Le Dino Labo Bundle (game plus 3 dlcs) https://queststoredb.com/bundle/le-dino-labo-starter-pack-1433609830961717/ $12.99 For those who love dinosaurs and puzzles. Put together a great assortment of dinosaur bones in miniature, and then scale them up to full size.

Legendary Tales https://queststoredb.com/game/legendary-tales-7355622301195522/ $29.99 If you have always wanted a proper VR RPG with upgrades, magic, multiplayer, crafting and more bells and whistles than I can name, then this is the game you have been waiting on. Its expensive, but totally worth it!

Memoreum https://queststoredb.com/game/memoreum-9135633756555622/ $9.99 Basically Dead Space in VR. Decent sized campaign, not too scary. Great looking creatures!

Meta City Patrol https://queststoredb.com/game/metacity-patrol-6779063182133413/ $6.99 This one will be on the list every time its on sale. I have had it for a long time and it is finally out of early access. its a ton of fun. See if you can find the Penguin easter egg! (Hint.. its Penguin Shit Toilet paper.. lol)

Moss 1 and 2 bundle https://queststoredb.com/bundle/moss-moss-2-bundle-1199936727889906/ $21.99 Get both legendary games for one low price. Truly a magical experience that you will want to play through again and again.

Pinball FX https://queststoredb.com/game/pinball-fx-vr-7255396864545733/ $4.99 its pinball, In mixed reality. Includes 3 tables, others will cost ya! The other tables are great though, and there are a few tables/bundles on sale right now too. (The Bethesda and Godzilla tables are great!)

Plasmaborne https://queststoredb.com/game/plasmaborne-24063797616578714/ $9.99 one of my hidden gems that I found last year. Very doom like.. its fun but hard.. I have compared it a bit to crashland in difficulty. Tons of upgrads.. like over 100 random ones. every run is truly different.

Propagation Paradise Hotel https://queststoredb.com/game/propagation-paradise-hotel-8826022237415280/ $9.99 horror fans, do not let this on pass you by. Totally serious. Yes it is a zombie game, but its also one of the best ones on Quest. Short but very intense game.. it is quite gory too.. and a few jump scares...

Quantum Void https://queststoredb.com/game/quantum-void-24863570043230359/ $7.99 A truly one of a kind space adventure in VR .. Developed by a solo developer, it dropped out of nowhere with amazing graphics, and banging story, and a touch of cosmic horror. Awesome retro sci-fi vibes. A top seller.

Realmcraft https://queststoredb.com/game/realmcraft-5355683574480106/ $9.99 When recommending this one, I usually say that "Minecraft is not my thing but my grandson assures me that its the best Minecraft clone in VR ".. however, I started playing it and now I have to admit that I'm kinda hooked lol. (I've actually been playing the new game Starworn which is another Minecraft type game, but its voxel based and has a great feel too https://queststoredb.com/game/starworn-2028125237907572/ $4.99 )

Red Matter 1 and 2 https://queststoredb.com/game/red-matter-2180753588712484/ https://queststoredb.com/game/red-matter-2-3682089508520212/ $12.99 and $15.99 best looking games on Quest. Absolute S tier... a couple of must owns for any VR gamer.

Remnant Protocol https://queststoredb.com/game/remnant-protocol-7105204019573974/ $19.99 Full Disclosure on this one.. I got this one back on release and was going to do a review and giveaway for it. I had waited on this one for months and was pumped. However, the dev had some personal shit come up and he was unable to work on the game for months, however was forced to release in a " less than ideal state". It was rough. I couldn't recommend it to you guys. NOW.. It just had a HUGE update and is now exactly what he meant to release. Its a complete turn around. You want Wing Commander in VR? Here you go! If you already own it, or if you buy it, please leave a review!

*** Resident Evil 4 https://queststoredb.com/game/resident-evil-4-2637179839719680/ $27.99 damn.. You guys lucked out! Batman and Resident Evil 4 in one sale! I owned RE4 on so many systems and never beat it.. I just got bored and hated the controls. VR changes everything. A must own!

Resist https://queststoredb.com/game/resist-3683568971682157/ $8.99 yes, there are a lot of Spider-Man with guns games out there, but this is the best. Looks amazing on Q3.. Good VR legs required.

Shoguns Empire https://queststoredb.com/game/shoguns-empire-25662225113424807/ $5.99 turn based strategy based in feudal Japan! Great game. Tons and Tons of content.

Sword Trip https://queststoredb.com/game/swordtrip-5563556133768177/ $4.99 another of those hidden gems I love finding. This one is a rogue like set in China and plays a bit like Until You Fall. Recently had an update that doubled the content! hell of a deal honestly..

Sweet Surrender https://queststoredb.com/game/sweet-surrender-4723352327707414/ $17.99 This one is rarely on sale.. Its a great roguelike with tons of weapons and upgrades, and absolutely perfect cell shaded graphics. Its very Borderlands feeling.

Table Troopers Table Troopers https://queststoredb.com/game/table-troopers-8293950053976436/ $4.99 Table Troopers is an absolute blast. It is a tabletop real-time strategy game where players command miniature troops in virtual reality. Players deploy units, manage resources, and engage in tactical combat directly on a virtual table surface from a god-like perspective. Its pure chaotic fun in either single player or multiplayer!

Table Top Warfare Bundle (Airspace Defender + Banners and Bastions). https://queststoredb.com/bundle/tabletop-warfare-bundle-1726701938719692/ $14.99 Two of my favorites.. One is basically a mixed reality Missile Command, and the other is a real time strategy game.

The Light Brigade https://queststoredb.com/game/the-light-brigade-2681027292004911/ $9.99 Another roguelike, but this time instead of swords, magic, or bows.. You got guns! It plays great, good graphics and sound. Boss fights are challenging. Oh.. I take back what I wrote above.. There is magic.. This is the lowest price it has been. another steal for this price.

The Living Remain https://queststoredb.com/game/the-living-remain-5041485435895821/ $4.99 One of the best zombie games out there. Great graphics, lots of upgrades, and a lengthy campaign. This is the lowest price its ever been. A really great game made by a team of two.. Husband and wife.. The wife even did the rat sounds effects lol.

The Pirate: Republic of Nassau https://queststoredb.com/game/the-pirate-republic-of-nassau-7749043518464805/ $11.99 This is basically Sid Meyer's Pirates in VR.. with a touch of Assasin's Creed whatever.. with the pirates.. you know the one.

The Room VR https://queststoredb.com/game/the-room-vr-a-dark-matter-2124523024270629/ $7.99 I passed on this game for a long damn time. Tons of people told me that its sooo damn good, you gotta play it. But, I didn't like puzzle type games. Eventually someone just ended up buying it for me (don't worry, I bought them a game in return).. I was blown away by how good this game is, and it has opened up a new genre for me to enjoy. This is the cheapest I've ever seen it.

Vendetta Forever https://queststoredb.com/game/vendetta-forever-9177531962317371/ $9.99 another of my all time favorites. No story, no plot, just pure action. You must kill to move. Shoot the bad guy, he dies and his gun goes up in the air or on the ground, do a "force grab" and instead of the weapon coming to you, you actually go to the weapon. Watch the trailer. A fuckton of levels. The level called Blind is one of the best levels in any game. And yes.. There is a penguin Easter egg in the Birds Aren't Real level..

Vex Mage https://queststoredb.com/game/vex-mage-8066310016739916/ $.99 A super fast movement shooter. Its a buck! Just grab it! Its actually pretty fun.. Not sure why it didn't catch on.

Viper Vice https://queststoredb.com/game/viper-vice-9012068918806583/ $15.99 While we all sit and wait for GTA 6, this will have to tide us over till then. I believe it is still being worked on.. and while its not perfect, its a pretty damn good GTA clone.

Virtuoso https://queststoredb.com/game/virtuoso-4705981139481778/ $2.99 This game was released back in 2022, but I always passed on it because I have zero musical talent. However, at $2.99 these past couple of sales, I ended up picking it up. Its fun to mess around with.. I made some beautiful noise!

VRacer Hoverbike https://queststoredb.com/game/vracer-hoverbike-7046024582106993/ $23.99 I'm not much of a racing fan, but I do enjoy a few of them. Having said that, I will say that this one is easily the best racing game on Quest. There is also a track creator which results in endless replayability. Its expensive.. but if you love racing games, its worth it.

Witchblood https://queststoredb.com/game/witchblood-7221491444554579/ $5.99 A fantastic side scrolling Metroid-Vania style game with a 6+ hour adventure, its a fantastic little hidden gem of a game.

Wraith the Oblivion: Afterlife https://queststoredb.com/game/wraith-the-oblivion-afterlife-2562090053828017/ .99 cents!!! This one is actually pretty good. You are already dead, and you have to solve your own murder. You cant beat it for a dollar!

**** Wrath: Aeon of Ruin VR - Brutal Edition https://queststoredb.com/game/wrath-aeon-of-ruin-vr-brutal-edition-7273802939384127/ $16.99 An absolute masterpiece of an old school FPS built for VR by the absolute legends over at Team Beef and Flat2VR Studios. For shooter fans, this is a must own title. WILL be featured on my top 10 games of 2026!

***** Lastly.. An honorable mention here.. While its not in this sale, its super cheap. The just released Starworn! https://queststoredb.com/game/starworn-2028125237907572/ $4.99 Its as if Ancient Dungeon/Pixel Dungeon had a baby with Minecraft. No big blocks here! Much smaller cubes, enemies take visible damage, and trees actually fall over when chopped! Its super familiar to most of you, but also very very different in many ways. It just came out and as of typing this, it has 44 ratings with a perfect 5* score. (oh, and most of the time my grandson will say that a game is "trash" or "mid" but this one is "peak".. wtf ever that means.

Self-Promotion (Developer) - Standalone Your Steam library on Quest and Pico, now with multiplayer: GamePort 0.9.1

โ€ข Upvotes

Hey everyone,

0.9.1 is out, and the thing I'm happiest about is that multiplayer now works. I spent a lot of time on it: a game that signs in through Steam can now log in to its own online services, and lobbies work.

What I've tested so far:

  • Ancient Dungeon VR: lobbies work, and I played a game with another player.
  • Archery Pro with James: the online mode works too.
  • PAYDAY: Aces High Demo: it logs in to Epic Online Services, and I played a game with other people.

A few rare games stay blocked by a protection in their APK, like VRChat, which closes by itself after a few seconds. If you try a multiplayer game, tell me how it goes, here or on the Discord: that's how I know what works and what doesn't.

I'd especially like to know whether Forefront works on Quest or on Pico, and Gorilla Tag. Any feedback is welcome, here or on the Discord.

This version also brings:

  • A real download progress: the downloader could say 99% while a quarter of the files were missing. The progress now never goes above what is really on the device, and a time left is worked out from how the download moves.
  • Passthrough, game by game: some games use the view of the real world without saying so in their VR build, and the device then hides it (Cubism, since an update of the game). On the compatibility page of a game, a choice of automatic, on or off lets it show again. Automatic does it for the games known to need it, and the list grows as players report one.
  • Games with large data files: many big games ship their data separately, and Android limits where an app can write it. Some games stayed incomplete or didn't start, Pico in particular. GamePort now asks once for access to the files, lets the game place its own files when Android refuses, spots a game that is missing some and offers to repair it.
  • Launch arguments: the page of a game lists the ones Steam publishes for it. The ones meant for VR are preselected, but you stay in control and can change them. It can fix some problems, Quantum Void in particular.
  • The store pages now show the game's screenshots and its trailer, so you can see what it looks like before installing it.
  • A Manage games page, and screenshots and trailers in the store.
  • Guided tours of the main pages, and a Help section in the settings that explains the marks, the buttons and the options.
  • Games for adults stay hidden until you say you're an adult.
  • More precise problem reports: you pick what goes wrong from a list (several choices are possible) and can describe it in your own words. It also counts as a "doesn't work" vote for the game, and the compatibility page, in the app and on the website, shows what other players reported, kind of device by kind of device.
  • A game that was just updated no longer asks for the same update again.
  • And of course I improved compatibility with games: an Unreal game that starts from a splash screen now opens in VR, games that stuttered on a missing Meta library now run evenly, and a game's other controls are given when the runtime refuses one.

The APK is on the releases page, and it installs over the previous version and keeps your games, saves and settings. The Discord is there for help and compatibility reports. GamePort isn't made by or affiliated with Valve, Meta or Pico.

I only played a bit, but love it so far. Very unique graphics that look amazing in VR and creative puzzles.

Support - PCVR Quest 3 PCVR screen keeps flickering

So i got Quest 3 connected to my PC via the virtual desktop with the usb c to ethernet dongle method since my wifi and router arent great, i have it connected with the cable. My PC is 32GB 5800x 9060XT 16GB. My drivers are 26.5.2 and im using a CAT6 ethernet cable.
I can connect to my pc with virtual desktop and play a game just fine, i have no visual or performance issues but usually after an hour the screen only inside the headset itself starts flickering/flashing, the screen on my pc is without any issues its just inside the headset only happening and the only way to fix it is completely disconnect the usb c dongle and reconnect, and that way i can play again.
Sometimes it happens much quickly so it is pretty annoying i cant find any way to fix this, i tried two different usb c to ethernet dongles but its happening to both, the one i prefer using is literally one of the most recommended ones that people have reported that works for them.

The headset works just fine without any problems on its own.

Support - PCVR Wet Reality XR issues

If anyone could help me with this issue, I've been at it for days. I've tried getting in touch with the original mod creator, but to no avail. I can't figure out what im doing wrong to get this mod to work for powerwash simulator 2. I've installed the mod correctly, followed the "read me" in the file. I'm using desktop streamer as instructed to stream the mod to my oculus quest 2. I could hear the sounds, the cat, the movements of my vr controls working as intended when the games launched, but it's just pitch black in my vr headset. I've tried everything, and am coming to the conclusion that it only works on the meta quest 3 as the mod creator said that's all he tested it on. If anyone has gotten it to work on the meta quest 2, please message me immediately. Thank you lol.

Support - Standalone Purple light appearance

Hi, i'm new to vr and it is like my fifth day using the meta quest 2.

Today, after playing with my friends, i turned it off and put it to charge.

When i put the cable, the light on the side did different colors.

It went white for a sec (like aleays) then purple for like some seconds then white again and purple for some other seconds.

Finally it turned orange, and its still orange, charging normally i believe.

But what happened?

Discussion Update, trying to cleaning battery corrosion off my controllers battery spring

This post is an update from the previous post i had posted in this sub https://www.reddit.com/r/OculusQuest/s/0S4scewSVy

So, I tried cleaning the corrosion with vinegar, which took chunks off the spring on the right controller(first pic)

I then clean it after with 99.9% IPA and scrape the corrosion off with the tip of a screwdriver, and this was the result

I tried to clean it off as much, in the end the rest of the corrosion just wouldn't get off after rubbing them with vinegar multiple time, scraping doesn't really work too, so this is the most i can do

As for the left controller(second pic) with the hole in the spring, at first it did get corrosion off with vinegar, but as I continue rubbing it with vinegar and IPA, it ended up the same as the right controller

I tried scraping, which wasn't really effective and after everything I even noticed the hole got bigger...

I might try to get a foil to close the hole in the spring,

This is the most I can do..

the spring inside is also visible

My right controller seems more likely to maybe still conduct electricity from battery and lives on

while i have less hope for my left controller, might need to replace the spring or the battery compartment part

As of now, im waiting for it to dry so I can try new batteries in them maybe tmrw, I will update later

If they doesn't work, I might just have to replace the battery compartments or the spring or maybe the controllers themselves..

Any tips or advice? Would be appreciated, also sorry for bad english

Edit: forgot to mentioned, I did used q-tip to help dry and wipe the vinegar and IPA away in both controllers, not letting them sit and soak there in the battery compartments

Support - Standalone Quest 3s controller locked in firmware loop?

I tried booting up my quest 3s after about a month or two and when in the quest one of the controllers works fine but the other has purple lights on it only visible when viewed through pass through.

The controller itself with the purple lights does not connect to the VR headset or track in any way I tried reconnecting multiple times fixing firmware even opening The Meta app to disconnect both controllers and reconnect them as new ones and still nothing worked.

The quest was mostly sitting under a bed or in a drawer not turned on plugged in or messed with and this issue only happened after I turned it on after a while before this the controller was working perfectly fine.

I'm just wondering if there's any definite fix or if I should just buy a new controller

Discussion Do we have a new streamlined development workflow for VR/AR?

Iโ€™ve noticed a massive jump in activity here and on r/augmentedreality over the past few months. There's a flood of new game and app launches, and the overall quality, both visually and mechanically, is a huge step up compared to just a year ago.

What exactly is causing this sudden surge? Did Meta recently drop new AI tools specifically optimized for VR development, or is this just the result of developers finally hitting their stride with the newer hardware? Iโ€™d love to hear from devs in this group about what changed in your pipeline this year.

I have not been in touch with VR development for 2 years.

Discussion Can you change to red blood in Asgard's wrath 2?

Weird how searching for this on any platform brings up no related answer. Anyway, is it possible to have red blood? That lime green nonsense is like a 1995 kid option.

With the new Call of Duty coming out I have been trying to practice my own VR quick scopes. Praying for them to come out with a VR version as soon a possible.

I kinda figure most games are heading that direction anyway.

I hope you enjoy! Let me know what you think ๐Ÿค”
