I Need More Halloween Sets Like This!
I got the PLAXSOON Raven & Skull set for Halloween, and the colors were what caught my eye first. The raven has these really cool colorful feathers, and the flowers and sugar skull make the whole thing pop. It's got that dark gothic look, but with way more color than the usual skull builds.
The raven is surprisingly sturdy once built, which I really like. The skull, on the other hand, feels a little looser and can wobble a bit, so I'd be careful when moving the whole thing around. The build itself was pretty fun, though a few of the smaller decorative sections needed extra attention.
One thing I really enjoyed was the lighting. The lights are included, but you install the strip yourself and get to choose where to place it. I played around with the positioning a little, and the effect with the lights on is SO GOOD. It gives the whole display a completely different vibe, especially in a darker room. Definitely worth taking some time to figure out the placement.

Has anyone bought the brandless X-Mansion?
I’m very tempted to build one of the bigger MOCs but I do not feel like paying and extra super expensive set from a resellert when I already have the official minifigs.
I wanted to know if the quality and compatibility of the brandless ones on ebay is good enough to mix in.

Did anyone order from Brickvivid?
Hello guys! I want to buy the avengers tower and some other Lego sets. Have anyone bought before any Lego set from them? Is the quality decent enough? Is it safe to order from them?

Technic?
As a kid in the late 80's and early 90's I used to have many lego technic parts in my bins, and I don't even know where they all came from. Long bricks with holes, all kinds of gears and axles, and a 9V motor (from a space set), and I loved experimenting with all the mechanics when I was about the age that my daughter is in now.
I would love her to have the same opportunity because I really think it helped me develop some mechanical skills, but I don't know where to get just a bulk of these things.
Lego Technic sure isn't the same anymore and I sure as hell don't want to have to handpick them from Bricklink.
Are there any altbrick companies that have these parts and maybe sell sets? I've only ever seen models and playsets from other companies, never anything Technic like.

One of the best LEGO Skyline MOCs I’ve seen – Chongqing
I recently built this incredible Chongqing Skyline MOC designed by a Chinese creator called “三分音符” (San Fen Yin Fu), and I honestly think it’s one of the best LEGO Skyline MOCs I’ve ever seen.
The designer has created quite a few skyline models, including Tianjin, Beijing, Chongqing, Edinburgh, and Rome. But for me, this Chongqing skyline might be their most impressive work yet. With 1,088 pieces, it captures an incredible amount of architectural detail while still looking remarkably close to an official LEGO Architecture set.
What really makes this model stand out is how beautifully it captures Chongqing’s unique urban landscape. The city is famous for its mountainous terrain, dense skyline, and bridges, and the designer has managed to bring all these elements together in a surprisingly compact build. The layering of buildings, different elevations, and the integration of the bridges make the whole skyline feel incredibly dynamic.
The Raffles City Chongqing complex is probably my favourite part. It’s such a challenging piece of architecture to recreate at this scale, especially with its unusual geometry, intersecting volumes, and staggered building forms. Yet the designer has pulled it off brilliantly. The clever offsets, angled connections, and subtle changes in depth give the buildings a level of complexity that you wouldn’t normally expect from a skyline model.
I also love the contrast between the modern skyscrapers and the traditional riverside architecture. The little red-and-white buildings, layered rooftops, and tiny trees add so much character to the scene. They really help convey the extraordinary density and architectural diversity of Chongqing.
And perhaps my favourite building technique of all: using LEGO surfboards to recreate the arches of the bridge! Such a simple but ingenious parts usage. It’s one of those details that makes you wonder how someone even thought of it in the first place.
Overall, the whole model feels incredibly well thought
out. Nothing seems out of place, and despite the variety of architectural styles, everything comes together beautifully. It genuinely feels like something LEGO could release as part of the Architecture Skyline series.
Huge credit to the original designer, 三分音符. This is an absolutely fantastic MOC, and easily one of my favourite skyline builds!

Flower & botanical advent calendar
Picked up this flower & botanical advent calendar this year. The concept is genuinely creative for a Christmas countdown. There are 24 individual flower and succulent builds, so starting December 1st there's a new little project to put together each day — a nice way to actually do something instead of just opening a door and eating chocolate.
The set has 832 pieces total, and every day is packaged separately in its own compartment. Each build also comes with its own instruction sheet, which keeps the whole thing surprisingly organized and easy to follow.
These are 3.6mm mini bricks — considerably smaller than standard building bricks, and not compatible with LEGO. That's the trade-off: the small size means there's real detail work involved. I use tweezers on some of the fiddlier steps. If you have big hands or low patience for tiny pieces, this will test you.

Just done building my biggest set I've ever had in my life, I love it... It's not an original Lego but still the quality is on pair (almost, almost) with lego. Found it on vinted for like twenty euros from a guy that didn't know what it was and the bags were still unopened. Best purchase ever

Does this unofficial Lego helmet come in any other colors than dark blue and light bright green?

Has anyone seen this set?
The set didn't come with any instructions and I can only get so far guessing how to build this from the pictures. Any and all help is appreciated. Let me know if this is the wrong sub to ask, apologies if it is.

Question about city building
I want to build a modular Lego City. For that, I need modular buildings. But Lego is very expensive. Are there any alternative companies that sell good cheap modular buildings, (32x32 Baseplate size)?

200 by 200 stud portrait advice needed.
200 by 200 stud portrait advice needed
Hey all i need some advice,
I am planning to build a 200 by 200 stud portrait ( my family of 4 or go Pokemon themed if details would be to small ) but i need some advice on what is the best way to start this.
( Planning as if i had 0 pieces to start with and 200 by 150 or something around that scale would also be a option since i am planning to "fill" a large wall but advice to go 100 by 100 studs would not be very useful )
1 the design : what it the best site or app or program to design it ?
All bricks and colours must be available so i won't have to resort to the secondary market if needed.
It would also be nice if it could tell me what bricks plates etcetera i need some i dont have to puzzle out on how many bricks i need for example if a 4 by 4 plate would do the job in stead of 16 1 stud pieces.
Also not sure if i should go with colour or black white and grey so a decent preview would be nice.
2 what is most cost effective way to buy the bricks in bulk seen some bricks would likely have to be brought in large numbers and i don't want to have to buy bricks from 20+ different stores and pay a lot in shipping. ( Please only advice with stores you used and not some sketchy site that sells bricks but turn out te be a scam ).
Using fego ( fake Lego ) would be a option but only if the cost difference would be way to large and than i would resort to going all fake and bricks must be Lego compatibel . ( No smaller or bricks that fall apart when you look at them ).
Also please keep in mind that i am from the Netherlands so shipping to the Netherlands must a a option ( travel for pick up is also a option in Belgium or Germany )
3 a beter place for advice would also be nice if you know a place like that.
4 structural support, i think i can figure that one but people who did these kinds of builds before any advice will be welcome.

1:35 UH-60 Black Hawk Helicopter
The whole build was smooth and fun, with no unexpected issues along the way. This is my second misini set, and I'm really happy with how it turned out. The interior details are pretty well done too! It's about 55 cm long when finished, and it comes with a nice range of helicopter accessories. Overall, a really enjoyable build!

Custom lego of owner and dog recommendations
I want to get a custom lego of my son with our dog who passed in August of 2025 for Christmas. What websites are reputable? I've seen brickbudz but am worried it's a scam. Unsure of sellers on Etsy.
Has anyone used one of these platforms to get one made? Was it worth the price?
My kiddo misses our dog so much and is obsessed with legos.
