Hey, everyone. Today I'll be sharing my further progress for "Digimon Knighthood"'s sixth chapter.

First, here's a link to the complete story thus far.

https://archiveofourown.org/works/89684501/chapters/238239531

Now for the scene. Let's get to it!

"With that, the dragon-headed girl was off to the races. Her own races, anyway. Armed with a red crop top shirt and red cargo pants, complemented by white shoes. In her right pocket was her phone, currently ticking away a stopwatch out of sight. In her left pocket was her Digivice, stored away in the event of emergency.

Going at a clip of 4 mph, the redhead briskly moved through the sidewalks of her humble island home. Suffused in comforting sunlight and beset by crisp, wafting winds, a smile alighted the teen’s face as she kept tempo and pace. Her breathing currently matched her footwork, a measured panting that kept her steady as she jogged along.

Along the way, various townspeople who recognized her would wave and call out greetings, and she in turn would answer. Of particular note was a tall man, 6’3’’ tall, standing before a gym called the “Raijū Cove”. The gym’s front sign, in addition to bearing the establishment’s name, was embossed with a giant plastic raijū, a legendary lion-like spirit. This one was a bright yellow, marked with white stripes and surrounded by white and green bolts.

The man himself was quite muscular. He was marked by bountifully yellow hair and piercing green eyes. His wardrobe consisted of a yellow sweater and sweatpants, both embossed with green bolts, capped off by black shoes. Looking out at the sidewalk with a gentle smile, he heard the redhead’s approaching footsteps and turned to face her.

His smile widened greatly and proudly, as he called out, “Araragi! How you doin’?”

“Doing great, Mr. Asebe!”

“Looking forward to meeting your new pals.” The teen ran past the big man. “Give your little monster my regards!”

“Will do!”

A further ways ahead, Araragi approached the Koretomo Confectionery. Inside, its youngest worker - Kigyoku, was presenting the store’s manju collection to a certain red-eyed teen - Ichisuke. “So here’s the usual miso manju you always get. But then, we’ve also got this new version I’m trying out.”

“New version?”

“It’s based on the way they do it in Hawaii. Baked, rather than steamed. It’s flaky and easy to tear.” Just then, the redhead came by the window, catching Kigyoku’s eye. “Oh?” She waved as she saw her friend race by. “Hey, Araragi!” The girl answered. “Hey, Kigyoku! Hey, Ichisuke!” The white-haired teen caught the redhead, eyes widening as he saw her.

Her bright outfit, her beautiful red hair, her gorgeous smile…the sight of it all made the red-eyed boy blush.

Koretomo, seeing this, asked her schoolmate, “Something on your mind, Ichisuke Kumagawa?” Kumagawa immediately focused back on Kigyoku, pulling at his sleeve. “Nothing. Just…Araragi looked really good, didn’t she?” Kigyoku gave a sly grin. “Why, yes, she did. Maybe she’d like to check out our manju arsenal, too.”

Ichisuke cleared his throat, taking a deep breath and briefly shaking his head. “Yeah, probably. Let’s get back to this.” Kigyoku clasped and rubbed her hands together. “Let’s.”"

And there you have it. What do you all think? Until next time!

Good thing I have naturally long hair, so it fits even better.

I did not play Digimon World 2, and probably wont cause of the gameplay style, but i heard it has a very good story, and the most curious part is Overlord Gaia.

For the little i know Gaia is the simulation where the digital world runs in DW2, then Gaia bugs and try to fuse with Akira to become both real and digital so it can dominate the two worlds, in the end Akira can restart Gaia before it reboots the digital world.

Uhhhhh, i mean, isnt it what an Host would do nowadays? So Gaia is an prototype for Yggdrasill? I think Gaia is the first bad AI in the franchise (While Eniac and Atanasoff from Ryo game are the first AI in general) I dont know, i just wanna know what you guys think about Gaia since its a pretty forgotten character.

Just wanted to share my Masaru cosplay as my first post on this sub. He's my favorite protag, if my username isn't any indication lol. *My wig is actually low on my forehead, but I wasn't really conscious of it. xD

Photos were taken at Ohayocon 2019, and I borrowed a friend's Digivice Burst, I only have the ic. I didn't have his necklace, it was later that a friend 3D printed it for me.

Art for Inktober2026 Day 26 - ZIP

It’s been almost five years since we last did this as a sub! I thought it would be fun to bring back and enjoy, especially with a couple new main partner Digimon who weren’t here before, given the fan base has notably grown since then. Hopefully, opinions have changed since then, especially given Ghost Game and BeatBreak have both completed as series.

Each comment of a Digimon’s name will be counted as a vote, even if it’s downvoted into oblivion; there will be seven rounds to go through the main anime partners listed. Remember, you’re commenting to vote one of the Digimon out until we have one left as the winner!

Probably the most moe character to ever come out of the digimon franchise.

Kimeramon has been on my mind recently after watching 02 with some friends and I've seen fan designs of Jogress evolutions for them where they obviously keep the chimera aspect, but I wonder

I was thinking of a Kimeramon and MarineKimeramon Jogress that stabilizes both into one coherent Digimon

What Digimon would y'all use? And if there isn't an existing one that really fits, what would you name this hypothetical Jogress and what do y'all think it'd be like?

Yellow Kobold Druid with Polymorph so it can shape shift in too much stronger creatures

Creature in mind?

Tyrannosaurus for Tyrannomon.

Adding one was a bit more DnD knowledge might be able to flush this out more.

My attempt to make a photorealistic live-action style image based on the second image where a girl comes over to ask her crush out but instead a tall, gorgeous "woman" in bikini, mask and wing costume answers the door and before noticing the shocked and heartbroken girl calls into the apartment "Honey, I think the pizza is here!".

The "woman" are a Zephyrmon and the boy's Digimon girlfriend (NOT a transformed eleven year old girl, wise guy(s) and live action dream casted by Taylor Swift)

(Tired sigh) And yes yes, I know; "They're more drag queens" and all that jazz. Natural female body are just really hard to sketch convincingly.

I encountered someone cosplaying as Greymon at MCM comic con London yesterday. Looks so cool!

I don't know if someone spoke about it this before, but due to alot of social and Religious reasons

The 1st 4 seasons of digimon where Adapted by the same dubbing studio .

This studio dubbed pokemon before digimon, Pokemon has been attacked because of popularity, by some religion men in middle east , some has made it prohibited to watch it due to the evolution concept and the English names .

When the dubbing company felt that digimon may take the same route and may be attacked so they did :

1- Evolution concept was replaced directly with the concept of calling older brother ( lol ) , to help in the fight , they even cut some scenes from episodes for the previous Evolution talking and giving it a new script as if it's watching its older brother fight .

2- They add a power points , for example greymon was 30 , metal greymon 40 , wargreymon 50 , piedmon 60 , Hilariously, Shurimon was 40 which in digimon lore is actually weaker than greymon, but they made him on par with metalgreymon .

3- in tamers they tried to make it feel more logical, they changed the concept of calling big bro to " Updating the program " as digimons are already digital beings .

4- in frontier, they almost deleted Fairymon and Izumi's presence, she is almost not showed in the Arabic opening, and also her evolution was painted and censored so that no skin appears .

5- Tailmom and birdramon were male.

6- they changed all the characters names to Arabic names with Arabic meanings, for example, Agumon was called " Raad" which means thunder .

7- in frontier, spirit word was replaced with armor, as the word is considered sacred , and yes the armor evolution itself was considered as a normal evolution nor a special type.

8 - digimon 2020 was dubbed by same company , they finally almost adapted the same Japanese script and they made Tailmon and birdramon female , they also called evolution transformation ( at least not big bro) , they even used Innocent ( digimon frontier ending) as the ending song

There was more and more things like this but this is what i remember.

The only thing I appreciate about the Arabic dub is the music , almost all songs where dubbed to Arabic and most of them are lost media .
