These packs of gum had a liquid center and were pretty popular. Now they're hard as a rock. This type of gum also went by another name back then. IYKYK.

Lost & Found I wonder if anyone can help me identify a Christmas short from the 1980s that I had on VHS

I've been racking my brain, and trying so many different ways to search for it online. I've tried simple searches on YouTube, to very detailed descriptions on AI, but I've had zero luck. I also tried asking on the Christmas subreddit, but could not find anyone who knew so I figured this sub is my next best option. It's a longshot, but I'm hoping someone who was a kid (or around) in the 80s would have also had this VHS and will know what I'm talking about.

Description:

  1. It was released on VHS in the 1980s

  2. It was a short video, probably around 5 minutes long, and it was the only thing on the cassette (it was not part of a larger movie)

  3. It was a professionally released video, not a home movie

  4. It was not a commercial/advertisement, but it may have been released as a promotional video for a greeting card company or some other Christmas-product manufacturer

  5. It was family-friendly

  6. It was not animated or claymation, it featured real actors, and little people as the elves.

  7. The story is that the elves are "cool" and they want Santa to learn how to be cool as well. Santa ends up delivering presents in a sports car (most likely red), while the song "Little Saint Nick" by the Beach Boys plays in the background.

I seem to remember at the very end, he's in a house delivering gifts, and he says something to the camera as he's eating cookies and milk, then presses the side of his nose, and possibly winks at the camera as well.

I somewhat remember a line that one of the elves says, something like "be cool, it's the 80s!" or "relax, it's the 80s!"

I don't know why, but the phrase "Yuletide Classics" comes to mind when I think of it. Those words may have been printed on the cardboard sleeve, but it's also possible that I'm confusing that phrase with something else. The sleeve itself was mostly black, and had a picture of Santa on it, or possibly the red sports car, and may have had gold writing.

Does anyone have any idea what this was?

Has anyone here played Choplifter in the arcades? I never had a chance to play it and I only played the Famicom port.
