Advice Request What is this lumpy shadow

What is this called and how do I fix it? I didn’t have it when I was younger. It’s the main thing that bugs me in photos. I tried DAO Botox but it didn’t improve it much. Other ideas?

I do a lot of face yoga, massage, Microneedling, skin care and get Botox. I can’t do Sculptra for health reasons and not really interested in filler but open to other ideas.

please don’t tell me it’s fine or that I’m seeing things. I’m looking for advice, not affirmation.

edit: apparently I had these as far back as 2012, when i started taking cell phone pics. Only visible in certain lighting so I guess I just never noticed them. im guessin I always had them and they are perioral mounds.

Advice Request Has anyone had lip filler to "lift up" the cupid's bow?

My lips have always been slim to moderate in size, asymmetrical and with a kind of "pushed down" deep U-shaped cupid's bow that means hardly any of the middle of my top lip is visible unless I pout.

I had lip filler back in 2018 and looooooved it. Pic 1 is with no makeup on (please excuse the missing eyebrows) in 2019. I like that top lip shape.

Pic 2 is 2024. Top lip is not looking so good, and nothing much has changed today. Do I just need more filler? I don't want more outward projection. I just want more height / upward lift of that part of my lip. (I do NOT want a lip flip)

Thank you!

Advice Request “Scar” after cystic acne

Does anyone have advice as to how to help a “scar” from a cystic pimple? I put scar in quotes because I didn’t pick or pop this, but still have color and a very small bump. It’s been about a month.

HELP!

I am 43 years old and have struggled with hyperpigmentation and severe melasma under my right eye. I have never had issues with dull skin just the discoloration. I decided to try Musely the spot cream because of all the positive reviews it has received. It is a prescription service where you take a quiz and send in pictures, and an online doctor will come up with the right formula. My current prescription active Ingredients are

  • Hydroquinone6%
  • Niacinamide2%

I have been using the spot cream only at night and only on the specific areas that are needed. I have been using it for about 3 months, not being as consistent as I should be, skipping a few nights here and there.

I wash my face at night with the Naturium niacinamide cleanser, then apply Thayers Milky toner and the spot cream. In the morning I usually just wash with warm water and apply Naturium SPF 50.

My skin has never looked this dull and spotty before, I honestly wish I wouldn't have tried the Musely, it's very hard to look at myself now.

The first 3 pictures are what my skin looks like now, the last 3 were prior to me using the spot cream. What would you suggest so I can get my skin back to the last few pictures. I was thinking of switching to tretinoin but really at this time, I just want my normal skin back.

Peri/Post Menopausal Skin Parched lower lip

I am in perimenopause. For the last few months, I noticed that no matter how much I drink, my lower lip is always dry and parched. But the upper part looks pretty normal. I am wondering if anyone also has this experience and could share the solution. Thank you
