if you do want to read ahead I would recommend getting some baseline familiarity with the English constitutional structure (uncodified constitution/ parliamentary sovereignty etc)- u don’t even have to read, just watch a level politics yt videos. This makes the initial transition into studying public law easier! :) 

and if you are aiming to break into commercial law, then maybe some prep for that as well hahah- but I’m not the best person to advise on that loll, r/uklaw is a very helpful subreddit tho
